Obama's Libya Lies Collapse: Senate
Democrats Demand Answers

Breitbart's Big Peace, by John Nolte

Original Article

The wheels appear to be coming off a two week attempt by the Obama Administration to cover up its fatal security failures at our consulate in Libya and to cover up the very fact that this was a successful pre-planned terrorist attack that cost four American lives, including that of our Libyan Ambassador, Christopher Stevens. Not only has the scandal picked up steam in the mainstream press (Jake Tapper's ABC News report tonight is a must-watch), but high-ranking members of the President's own party are now demanding answers. This includes the man most often cited

We have no President right now. Obamas too busy. The situation in N Africa and the ME is dire. These senators know it, even the dim bulbs.

Ousting Obama was always going to require help from democrats. May this be a sign of the blind seeing, and the deaf hearing.

When the lever is pulled many democrats will pull the lever for Romney, and we will never know who they are.

After obama loses, America should
move directly towards trials of treason.
He will become a man without a country,
by choice.

Don't believe a word of it.

The Democrats in the Senate, lead by Kerry, will do nothing. And behind the scenes they will make sure the GOP can't either.

Kerry and couple of others will be posturing on TV. Oh, he served in Vietnam.

Roughly 40 days to election.

How can anyone expect Obama to protect our embassies when he's been so busy out there celebrating diversity? I mean, come on!

Don't believe these lies about demonrats and the drive-by media demanding answers. I'm already reading stories about how cuts were made to State Dept security as the reason by there was no security or bullets for the Libyan mission. More lies on top of more lies. Funny thing tho, there's plenty of money for every goobermint agency to buy millions and millions of hollow-point rounds. Even the Weather agency got into the act. What do they need cops for? Who are they going to shoot? My neighbor who bitches about their forecasts never being right?

This is so blatantly criminal that even Congressional liberals have to attempt to get the stink off themselves. After all, their own re-elections are far more important than Obama's. they would rather serve in a Republican Congress than have to get a real job.

Reply 12 - Posted by: lonestarm3, 9/28/2012 7:11:17 AM     (No. 8895391)

I wonder how Senate Democrats learned of the collapse of Obama's lies.

Just for fun I checked the NYT and LA Times. So far they have reported government statements (in today's editions) up to September 20.

They are only spiking news for a bit over a week. Guess that's progress.....

The democrats are joining the fray in order to mess things up. They just have to do this until he is re-elected. Power is everything to them and the demise of this country that they so detest, is the goal.

But what does it matter, when the public pays no attention and the Press, in general, doesn't cover it or call it a lie? Obama has done misstep (lie) after lie, but even when The Wash. Post gives an ad on finances 4 out of 5 Pinocchios the press, in general, doesn't cover it, the public doesn't pay attention, etc. I cannot for the life of me understand how DECENT Democrats, who look at what this man is doing to their future, their kids and grandkids futures, can vote for him, even if they are not crazy about Romney's personality---this is not some reality show where the COOL guy wins.....this cool guy is taking us right down the road toward Europe....and yet I have an otherwise intelligent friend who says Obama is her HERO........when questioned she wobbles a little, but would NEVER vote for Romney...and this friend has two sons and three grandchildren who will bear the burden of four more totally UNFETTERED years, I am beyond digested with people, and more than that, the Press.

Remind me again why Democrats demanded that President Bush's highly respected Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld be fired. I really don't recall what trumped up reason they gave, but I KNOW it wasn't because he was responsible for the death of an American ambassador and 3 other American citizens.
.... Wait. I think I remember. He was accused of being unkind to Islamic terrorists.

#16 - Wasn't it Abu Grhaib? Once again, Americans show - uh - ''disrespect'' - for Muslims and an American Secretary of Defense is forced into retirement.

But hey - now that DEMOCRATS are getting involved, maybe the MEDIA (I know, same thing) will NOTICE. But only if the Democrats tell them what to do and say. Talking Points! Where are our Talking Points!?!!

P.S. And again I ask: Why isn't Mr. Winter Soldier in prison?

You'd think the Muslims would consider The Won's non-stop victory laps about Bin Laden pretty offensive, too.

Give me a break. It was a "clarification" letter. No accusations or heated talk. It's intended effect is to make them look like they're not entirely ignoring the situation.

The Democrats are not about to pursue Obama for his lies a mere 40 days before an election. Not with the press covering for them endlessly.

To correctly predict the behavior of elected Democrats, assume the most cynical plausible interpretation of their actions is the correct one. They will vindicate you almost always.

I am more inclined to agree with all the skeptics here. But---a tiny thought occurs. Perhaps the dim party---who envisioned their perfect Manchurian Candidate tearing down America, and delivering the remaining husk to them for eternal political domination---realize he is about to do that...except seize the remaining husk for his OWN eternal dictatorial control. Even most dims might not appreciate being made superfluous, running-dog bootlickers; even though their personalities do suit them for it perfectly. As the light dawns in Dimwitville, only the Marxlims are cheering on satan's homeboy.

Hundreds of millions, if not billions of dollars have been poured into the US Intelligence Community since 9/11 and for what? To pick and choose to ignore actionable intelligence because it goes against the narrative of this administration; that the Muslim world just loves Obama?

But driving in this am, heard on local talk radio that some poll shows more Americans trust Obama with foreign policy than Romney. I don't get it.

Reply 25 - Posted by: ebuilder, 9/28/2012 8:43:51 AM     (No. 8895530)

We are not yet totalled as a country and a culture. We see the domestic enemy who told us what he would do, and is now laughing at us. We see the move to dhimmify us, blame Christians, puff the caliphate, and steal our freedom. He cannot do these things unless God lets him. He cannot succeed unless we abandon God to fear. You must now pray in faith, because you know without faith it is impossible to please Him. You must pray for God to lift this Judgment on us. Forget the heathen who rage, the absolute insult to manhood called republicans, and your brilliant and famous friends with their tongues of silver, exquisite taste, and stunning blind spots --we know the root causes. It is only necessary for you who have eyes to see and ears to hear do the praying. Also -- keep praying for a National Day of Prayer and Fasting on November 1.

Where's the 40 straight days of NYTimes front page coverage on the outrage of Obama trying to run an orchestrated disinformation campaign on we the American people??? A campaign designed to save what he has assiduously concocted as his strongest suit, foreign policy. Well, that so-called strength was a lie, and ironically, that lie being undone by his Benghazi pack of lies.

I bet the Duffer-in-Chief would gladly take a mulligan on this one.

Just an observation: It is pretty evident that no one who voted against hussein including most independents have not crossed over to vote for him now. Yet, there are perhaps millions who did vote for him who either will not vote or will pull the lever for Romney.

The demns have registered several times more new recruits than the GOP which is discouraging. But in all likelihood most of them have little interest in the events taking place and will not take the time to vote.

Al Contrario, among the GOP voters there is a fever of enthusiasm about this election and will go to the polls in droves.

I can only hope that this is true!

Keep your powder dry! Our liberties are at stake.

As for Kerry, isn't he the guy who is suppose to prep Obama for the debates? The one suggested to replace Hillary? Perhaps he doesn't want to be sullied if questions are asked in this area and is separating himself. It can't put him in good with the boss.

I still think that the L-dotter who suggested that the admin's intention in blaming the ambassador's killing on the anti-Mohammed YouTube trailer was part of their don't-let-a-crisis-go-to-waste plan to justify their internet take-over plan being readied by Janet Napolitano. Despite the fact that their intelligence told them right away that it was a pre-planned attack by al-Qaeda, Obama sent Susan Rice out with the talk shows with the YouTube excuse and even as the as the cover story was exposed in the media, Obama went to the UN and continued the story line. There is a reason they are doing this and it will become clear after the election.

This is a very very good turn of events! Remember, even Rosie O'Donnell stated that she loved George Bush shortly after 9/11. America needs a man who is not afraid to face the truth of what is happening.

This coverup was/is being led by the POTUS and extended from 9/11 through to his address to the world at the UN.
It is a scandal of immense proportion---no one died in Watergate.
That the MSM is not covering this aggressively--24/7-- is at least as big a scandal.

The lies and negligence were so egregious careers are now on the line: From Dems, who were also lied to and the media, who stuck their heads in the sand.

The LSM, especially, are also looking at a collapse of their credibility on the American and World stage.

IMO, The State Dept and WH not onlky lied but committed criminal negligence in failing to secure the embassy when warned, then lying about the nature of the events.

To wit. A 9/11 Terror attack by Al Qaeda.

The Pelosis lie, the Boehners do NOTHING, knowing the Diane Sawyers will look the other way. Corruption right out in the open for all to see. Washington is protected. Our only saving grace is the rapid growth of New Media and articles like this that also include a few examples of truth in the media. Our duty is to complain bitterly directly to the Sawyers, and boycot their sponsors. No good asking any of the greedy lying fools in Congress. Go direct to the Protection Racket of TV liars and verbally attack them. They, the Sawyers, Courics, Brokaws, are the Protection Racket gone mad.

I can come up with 2 reasons why John Kerry and the other Dems on the committee would do this. Either:
a) They have seen the real poll numbers and know that Obama is losing, so they are distancing themselves from him (like rats leaving a sinking ship) OR
b) They actually believe all of the fake polls showing Obama up by double-digits, and have decided that pretending to be serious about protecting this country - by calling out Obama on this issue - will make them look good without putting their party's control of power in any real jeopardy.

A three-minute video of Sarah Merkle’s testimony about Maryland’s new gun legislation has drawn more than 2 million views on YouTube, won her praise from gun rights advocates across the country and even scored her an interview on national television last week. But the 15-year-old from Baltimore said she cares more about her message. “The biggest part of this is that the pro-gun, Second Amendment argument is getting publicity,” she said. “I like that it actually got out there, and not just because it’s me, but because it’s the argument.”

A growing number of senators are trying to quash gun legislation before it even hits the chamber floor as Democrats hold out hope for a compromise and the White House gears up for a weeklong offensive to pressure Congress to act. Larry Pratt, executive director of Gun Owners of America, said as many as 13 senators now publicly support a filibuster on the motion to proceed on pending gun legislation, which effectively would block debate on the bill. “When you’re in a snake pit, you kill a snake any time and chance that you get,”

In interviews on “Fox News Sunday” and ABC’s “This Week,”Dan Pfeiffer, a senior White House adviser, pointed out that 90 percent of Americans support President Obama’s plan to expand background checks on citizens who purchase guns, and he pressured Republicans to get on board with what he said where “common-sense measures.” “You can’t get 90 percent of Americans to agree on the weather,” Mr. Pfeiffer said on “Fox News Sunday.” Mr. Pfeiffer warned that a potential Republican filibuster

Bipartisan unity on North Korea:

President Obama won rare foreign policy praise from Republicans for his administration’s handling of the North Korea crisis, as China signaled a possible readiness to play a more active role in pressuring Pyongyang away from provoking a military conflict. Two influential Republicans commended the White House on separate news talk shows Sunday for striking an effective balance by allowing senior Cabinet members to issue cautionary remarks in response to North Korea, while also strategically adjusting the U.S. military posture in the region. “This administration’s acted responsibly,” said Sen. Lindsey Graham

Senate has become more

The world’s greatest deliberative body has started to look a lot like its legislative little brother over the past few years. The Senate was once regarded as the home of the great political orators of the time — not to mention the body where true dealmaking actually took place. Its members prided themselves on their cool approach to legislating, in contrast with the more brawling nature of the House. Senators, generally, liked one another — no matter their party — and weren’t afraid to show it, either personally or politically. No longer. The Senate has undergone a marked transformation

Prospects for a bipartisan deal to expand federal background checks for gun purchases are improving with the emergence of fresh Republican support, according to top Senate aides. The possibility that after weeks of stalled negotiations senators might be on the cusp of a breakthrough comes as President Obama and his top surrogates will begin on Monday their most aggressive push yet to rally Americans around his gun-control agenda. Even though polls show that a universal background-check system is supported by nine in 10 Americans, the president has been unable to translate popular support

On the matter of the president and Kamala Harris, I could go either way. I could write a column — call it Classic Feminist High Dudgeon — lamenting the president’s comments about the California attorney general’s good looks. This column would discuss the continuing, albeit more subtle, discrimination against women in the workplace. It would explain how, even if unintentionally, Obama’s reference to Harris’s attractiveness is demeaning — that it serves, in the apologetic words of White House press secretary Jay Carney, “to diminish the attorney general’s professional accomplishments and her capabilities.” It would, inevitably, invoke the president’s daughters

Democratic Party officials believe that Kevin Strouse is exactly the kind of candidate who can help them retake the House next year. He’s a smart, young former Army Ranger — good qualities for any aspiring politician. But what party leaders really like is that Strouse doesn’t have particularly strong views on the country’s hottest issues. Immigration? Tax policy? “Certainly I have a lot of research to do,” Strouse acknowledged in an interview Thursday as he announced his candidacy in a suburban Philadelphia House district. Strouse’s candidacy reflects an emerging

KAUFMAN, Tex. — The judge was on the phone. “Yep, I said I’ll do anything,” Bruce Wood told the person on the other end, rubbing his forehead. “They asked me to do a eulogy. I don’t know what I’m going to say.” Elsewhere in the Kaufman County Courthouse, a sheriff’s deputy was handing out bulletproof vests. “I brought the smallest one,” he said to a secretary, who stared at the khaki armor as he explained how to adjust the side straps should the need arise. “These have the neck for a female.” Outside, two armed guards

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank

Well, not intentionally. But Jim Ragsdale of the Minneapolis Star Tribune attended a conference in Chicago on covering gun issues, which he describes this way: “Covering Guns” brought reporters with front-line experience covering mass shootings in Tucson, Ariz.; Aurora, Colo.; Newtown, Conn., and Red Lake, Minn., to meet with gun experts and advocates and gun trainers. Sponsored by the Poynter journalism center and funded by the McCormick Foundation of Chicago, we gathered in a city that witnessed 506 homicides last year. The idea, I take it

Carbon emissions in the US were at their lowest level in 2012 since 1994, according to figures released by the US Energy Information Administration. We did it without carbon trading scams, the EPA making carbon dioxide a poison, or obeying the dictates of the Kyoto climate Treaty. We did it partly because of decreased economic activity as a result of the Obama recovery-that-isn’t, but mostly because of good old fashioned market forces; competition between natural gas and coal: Energy-related carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions in 2012 were the lowest in the United States since 1994

Sen. John McCain says he doesn´t understand the threats from some of his Republican colleagues to filibuster a bill on background checks to buy guns. "I don´t understand it," the Arizona Republican said on Sunday of the threat coming from Sen. Rand Paul,Sen. Ted Cruz, Sen. Mike Lee and nine other Republicans. "The purpose of the United States Senate is to debate and to vote and to let the people know where we stand.” "What are we afraid of? ... If this issue is as important as we all think it is, why not take ... it up and debate?"

Michelle Obama has admitted that she is already tired of the bangs she first sported in January. The First Lady said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight: ´Bangs are a day-by-day proposition. They´re starting to grow out, get a little irritating.´ Still, she hasn´t let her hairdo woes get her down. ´It´s okay,´ she said after her initial complaint. ´We´ll be good.´ The first indication that her hairstyle was becoming a burden came about last weekend, when Malia, 14, was spotted adjusting her mother´s hair during the White House Easter Egg Roll.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

The report cited United Kingdom diplomats, saying Pyongyang was demanding the U.S. president personally call Kim Jong-un as one of the conditions to relieve the current conflict at hand. Itar-Tass also quoted the U.K.’s Sky News as saying North Korea currently has eight nuclear warheads.

Los Angeles — Some people have had it with TV. They´ve had enough of the 100-plus channel universe. They don´t like timing their lives around network show schedules. They´re tired of $100-plus monthly bills. A growing number of them have stopped paying for cable and satellite TV service, and don´t even use an antenna to get free signals over the air. The 34-year-old information management officer was one of four Americans murdered in the Benghazi embassy attack on September 11, 2012. Her betrayal consists of being gauche enough to acknowledge publicly a truth that everyone who’s come up through Ivy League culture knows intuitively —
