| The presidential race is tightening in the key swing state of Virginia, with President Barack Obama leading Mitt Romney by only two points, according to a new poll released Thursday evening by Suffolk University and Richmond's NBC12. The poll found Obama leading Romney 46 percent to 44 percent, results that are within the survey's statistical margin of error. Significantly, seven percent of Virginia voters said they were undecided, indicating that the race to win the Old Dominion is still wide open for either candidate.

With all the skewed polling and the MSM completely in the tank for 0bama, King Barry has still been unable to break away from Romney. . . nor will he. Things will tighten and toward the very end the pollsters and MSM will have to decide between maintaining a veneer of reputation or report the truth. This whole thing is headed for 2010 on steroids. They will lie, distort, cheat, misrepresent. But one fact remains. Every poll showing Zippy ahead is due to deliberate oversampling of Democrats. He is not leading Romney ANYWHERE with Independents. You cannot get to 270 with that.

Quick, count even a higher proportion of Democrats! When you go to polling sites like Gallup at the bottom is s disclaimer stating that the poll was ''adjusted'' to reflect Hispanic voters, women and disparities in the sample. In other words they are telling you why they might be very wrong. But lately at Gallup at least it's been hard to find out what kind of ''adjustment'' they've done because they are hiding it.

I live in Virginia. Romney signs are growing like weeds here. You can't drive more than a half mile down any local road without seeing them. And I'm seeing and hearing 0bama ads every ten minutes on TV and radio. Zippy is spending millions in ads and campaigning. He wouldn't be doing that if his internal numbers were good.

WASHINGTON — Attorney General Eric Holder, the nation´s chief law enforcement officer, returned to the courthouse where he once served as a judge, this time in the role of prospective juror performing his civic duty. The Justice Department said Holder wasn´t chosen and that he won´t be called back. Had he been selected for the jury Tuesday, the attorney general would have been on a panel hearing an armed robbery case. Holder sat in the last row of Judge Stuart Nash´s courtroom along with other prospective jurors as the judge gave details of the case.

MSNBC´s programming became almost entirely full of commentary and opinion in 2012, while "factual reporting" saw almost no airtime, according to a new report from the Pew Research Center. The report, which is part of Pew´s annual comprehensive State of the News Media, found that opinion and commentary fill 85 percent of the airtime on MSNBC. The U.S. has been denied direct access to the only publicly known suspect in custody in connection with the Benghazi terror attack, Fox News has learned, with U.S. interrogators still unable to sit in the same room as the Egypt-held prisoner to ask questions. Abu Ahmed, also known as Mohammed Jamal, is suspected of establishing Islamist training camps in Eastern Libya where militants who took part in the Sept. 11 Benghazi terrorist attack were able to train. Ahmed is not suspected of directly taking part in the attack which left four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens, dead.

An Ohio woman filed a $25,000 lawsuit against her employer, alleging she was fired for voting for President Obama. Patricia Kunkle of Kettering, Ohio, claimed that Dayton-based Q-Mark, Inc., threatened to fire employees of the defense contractor if Obama won re-election, with the president’s supporters to be the first to receive pink slips, the Dayton Daily News reported. Kunkle said she had a conversation the day after Election Day that indicated she voted for Obama. She was fired three days later.

A meeting between the new U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and his Russian counterpart will take place next week in German capital Berlin. Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov have agreed to meet in Berlin on February 26, US State Department Spokesperson Victoria Nuland said in a statement on Thursday. "Secretary Kerry and Foreign Minister Lavrov will discuss a wide range of bilateral and international issues," she added. The statement did not specify the agenda of talks. It will be Kerry´s first meeting with Lavrov in his new capacity as US Secretary of State.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church.
