If I met that woman somewhere and she told me who she was, I'd think she was delusional. There is almost no resemblance anymore.

At a certain point, some of the choices in life firmly foreclose on many other options. From what I understand, even back on the "Happy Days" set, she was doing a lot of "hard living", she just did not develop the high profile that Lindsay Lohan seemed to fall into quite quickly.

The trajectory of her life was not totally unexpected, it just took longer than I thought it might. I figured her burnout would have come before age 30.

I wonder what on earth causes so many celebrities to go wacko with dope and losing their money. There are sure a lot of them.

It HAS to be meth...she is only a year older than me but looks like she is at least 25 years older!!!!

Sad to see her decline but hey, she got to live the good life for more than a decade. Instead of just living off her dwindling savings she (or her deadbeat husband) could have gotten an education and a career, but I guess that's just for us "regular" folks. At least she didn't drift into soft core porn like Dana Plato did when her career was on the skids.

I heard that Tom Bosley had mentored the other actors and actresses, telling them that "Happy Days" would eventually end, and that they should save their money.

Apparently Ron Howard listened, but Erin Moran didn't.

Pretty stunning stuff. I can't think of any actress - any - that fell so far from beauty no matter how wrecked or whacked out their personal lives became.

Nobody is holding up her poster with one hand.

Being a child actor sure seems like a great opportunity. But it all-too-often doesn't end up so well. Kudos to those who handle it well.

I am pretty sure that if I had had her fame and fortune in my teens and twenties, I would have never seen thirty. I thank God that I did not and I will pray for her. All things are possible with God.

"Happy Days" was an ensemble show and each actor owes part of his success to the other members of that cast.

Ron Howard, be a mensch! Help Erin (and her husband) into rehab and set them up with some basic shelter and living expenses.

She's a former actress who hasn't worked in the business in decades, so why is someone snapping her photo as she goes about her daily business? Why is this news? Rather than just use her to sell newspapers or magazines, they should pay her for the photos they've taken.

I feel sorry for the Great Danes. One is an intact male and you can see the other is female who has had many litters. I feel sorry for Erin----- ehhh not so much.

Too much money too soon for actors who don't know when the limelight will fade. I'm sure many of them have family and friends helping them spend the income, including their drug dealers. At least she is still alive.

I am just surprised that this is a story in a British paper. Do they even watch or have watched Happy Days?

At least she's not as bad off as Henry Winkler. He's been reduced to making commercials for reverse mortgages, for God's sake.

Of course, Happy Days was a total illusion. It never existed. It was simply a creation of producers. Nostalgia was the selling point. Laverne and Shirley played on the nostalgia factor too.

As for Erin, she's still got good legs but I don't know about those Great Danes. They're almost as big as her. Feeding time must be a frenzy.

The bigger question is whether Barry will give her some of his taxpayer borrowed stash to bail out this Tinsel Town actress.
