Warren Defender Admits She May

Breitbart's Big Government, by Michael Patrick Leahy

Today, it was reported that in 2001 Elizabeth Warren represented a Massachusetts client in a Massachusetts Federal Courtroom in a case that involved Massachusetts law without a license to practice law in Massachusetts. The case was heard before the First Circuit Court of Appeals in Boston, and was titled Cadle Company v. Schlichtmann. Blogger Mark Thompson at the League of Ordinary Gentlemen, who had been Ms. Warren's most ardent defender until this new revelation, has changed his mind about Professor William Jacobson's argument that Ms. Warren has engaged in the unlicensed practice of

To think this unlicensed fraud held so much respect with the lefties that she contributed to ObamaCare and a host of other legislation - it boggles the mind. Lefties accept people like her even though they lie to the point where one would question their sanity. They accept them even though they commit any number of crimes against the groups lefties purport to protect - women and minorities.

Some general ideas in the Democrat party actually seem good, but after any degree of examination, they fall apart. I could never be a Democrat. I just don't understand them, and I never will.

The other moccasin has finally dropped. All the evidence indicates that Granny Warren practiced law and represented clients in MA without a license. She broke the law. Period.

Stick a fork in her. Losing the election is the least of her worries now.

What do you expect? It's a DemocRAT gene. Besides...What's a license? It's only a piece of paper! I'm surprised Warren didn't photoshop an authentic license and just change the name and date. I hear you can do that with birth certificates.

#5, I agree. I have tried so hard to understand Democrats and how they think. I have done everything humanly possible to figure out how they could possibly believe the Democrat Party line. I can't. Not for the life of me! There is just NO WAY their side makes any sense at all to me. I think one would have to be very, VERY ignorant and very gullible to be a Democrat--especially in this day and age. Either that, or they have to be very evil and manipulative. Either way, I couldn't ever be one.

There is no such thing as a national licence for anything. Each state requires licensed professionals to have a license from that particular state. A surgeon, lawyer, therapist, nurse, contractor, etc. all must have a license to practice in the state they are going to work. You either take the exams from that state (not the usual practice in most professions) or apply for 'reciprocity' which simply means that state recognizes your previous license from whatever state.

If true, what she did is illegal and is deserving of censure from where she is licensed and should face disbarrment. If I were Scott, I would pursue that angle first. There should be an immediate filing for re-trial of Cadle Company v. Schlichtmann (regardless of case outcome or details). The case was handled by an unlicensed attorney. The repercussions should be vast.

''Does she even have any current law License?''

No, she gave up her NJ licence as she couldn't be bothered with the continuing Ed requirements.

However, being 1/64th Native American, she is not subject to state licencing laws - and can thus practice law any dang place she wishes. In fact, if she chose to, Mizz Lizzie could sell tax-free cigarettes from her back porch.

In order to appear in a U.S. District Court, the lawyer must be admitted by that district. In order to to be admitted, the lawyer must apply to the district court clerk, indicating that he/she is licensed in the state of that district (Massachusetts). A lawyer with a license in New Jersey, however, may appear in a district court in Massachusetts by applying to that court for permission to appear pro hac vice, meaning for that case. The attorney applying for the application must be sponsored by an attorney admitted in the host jurisdiction. If Ms. Warren had been licensed in New Jersey at the time she appeared in Massachusetts, she still needed to apply to appear pro hac vice. If she did not, she violated USDC District of Massachusetts Local Rule 83.5.3.

Good point #21. I think she is a hypocrite and a certified moonbat but as she was licensed in New Jersey (she just gave that up due to, she states "burden of continuing education requirements") I expect she was legal in her standing in Federal Court. Who she was representing might be of greater political impact.

But it's not about an "agenda" - - that's much too broad a concept - - it's simply about abortion.

Any pol who is ardently pro-abortion gets a lifetime free pass from all crimes. Little White Dove cannot be touched - - because she strongly favors everything up to and including infanticide.

Like it or not - - but get it straight - - - Pro-Abortion = Stay Out Of Jail.

No way will lawyers allow a precedent like having anyone (even a fellow Dem) be allowed to practice law without a license.

This comes despite falling methane emission levels across the economy since 1990. The White House has proposed cutting methane emissions from the dairy industry by 25 percent by 2020. Although U.S. agriculture only accounts for about 9 percent of the country’s greenhouse gas emissions, according to the Environmental Protection Agency, it makes up a sizeable portion of methane emissions — which is a very potent greenhouse gas. A University of Virginia student arrested by Alcoholic Beverage Control agents who wrongly believed she´d illegally bought beer when in fact she only had bottled water is seeking $40 million in a lawsuit filed Tuesday. Elizabeth K. Daly, 21, alleges malicious prosecution, six counts of assault and battery and failure to appropriately train ABC agents in the suit which names the state and seven agents involved in her arrest. (Snip) Daly claimed she attempted to flee from the agents because neither were in uniform, one pulled a gun, and the other tried to smash her car window with a flashlight. ´My

Many of the Republican Party’s most powerful insiders and financiers have begun a behind-the-scenes campaign to draft former Florida governor Jeb Bush into the 2016 presidential race, courting him and his intimates and starting talks on fundraising strategy. Concerned that the George Washington Bridge traffic scandal has damaged New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s political standing and alarmed by the steady rise of Sen. Rand Paul (Ky.), prominent donors, conservative leaders and longtime operatives say they consider Bush the GOP’s brightest hope to win back the White House.

With studies showing widening economic gaps between whites and African Americans, civil rights leaders in metro Detroit are concerned. “We’re going in the wrong direction,” said Freda Sampson, a leader with the nonprofit group Michigan Roundtable for Diversity and Inclusion. “We’re getting further and further divided.” To help close that racial and class divide, her group is holding an all-day conference, called the Equity Action Summit, on Saturday at Cobo Center in Detroit. (Snip) Saturday’s conference, supported by the NAACP and Fair Housing Center of Metro Detroit, is to feature talks by President Barack Obama’s former pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah

Only "mere scraps of data documented" Barack Obama´s mother´s "days in Seattle," writes Obama biographer David Maraniss in his 2012 Barack Obama: The Story. Incidentally, Maraniss was telling the truth: Ann´s "days in Seattle" weren´t mentioned in Dreams from my Father and were only vaguely implied in Maraniss´s lengthy 2008 article. And it appears that the only "scraps" of evidence of Obama´s mother´s time in Seattle during 1961-1962 was a listing in a Seattle Polk directory and a University of Washington (UW) transcript. And it appears that the only "mere scraps" of evidence of baby Barack´s time in Seattle are

With high school seniors and their families now deciding where to enroll for college next fall, they might want to take a gander at research showing the best -- and worst -- values for a degree. The shocker in a survey by PayScale, a research firm that focuses on compensation, is that there are schools where students would have been better off not attending. Why? The 20-year net return on their college investment amounts to a financial loss, even when financial aid is included. Taking the time to get and spend money on a degree, in short, means you might actually find yourself in a financial hole. The survey may add to parents' doubts about

When atheist director and co-writer Darren Aronofsky promised that his epic "Noah" would be "the least biblical film ever made," that was not hyperbole. "Noah" is a brilliant, compelling, beautifully-mounted, beautifully-acted piece of storytelling conceived for the sinister purpose of leading people to believe that Christianity and Judaism are something they are not. (Snip) What does matter, though, is The Message. The Message is everything. And this is where Aronofsky is the snake in the garden. Using a $135 million, he and Paramount have brilliantly and deviously disguised the Pagan god Gaia as the God of the Old Testament … as THE God.
