| A new study released this week by researchers at Stanford and NYU has found that American drone strikes in Pakistan are killing far more civilians than advertised, taking out few high value targets, and have become the primary recruiting tool for the terrorist groups the policy is aimed at combating. The report, “Living Under Drones: Death, Injury, and Trauma to Civilians From US Drone Practices in Pakistan,” is based on “more than 130 interviews with victims, witnesses, and experts, and review of thousands of pages of documentation and media reporting” conducted over nine months.

Meanwhile, only 2 percent of those killed were “high-level” targets. This means that the strikes have killed three times as many children as terrorist leaders.
In addition, FTA:

This describes perfectly what happened in WWII when Hitler sent "buzz bombs" or "doodlebugs" into London. The psychological effects were horrendous, especially among children. See:

These statistics, even if only half true, are devastating. If you wanted to turn a country against the US, this would be part of the plan.
Don't get me wrong--I think drones are a great help in warfare. But your intel has to be absolutely faultless and your drones technically perfect to kill the terrorists you're after.
I haven't heard a reference to Hitler or Nazis in connection with the drone report but it will surely arise before long.

I do not care who the drones kill if they are muslims. We are way overdue to punish them. As far as I am concerned it is all out war with them. The muslims must learn that they will be decimated if they keep up their filthy jihad.

The article says: "Romney seems to sense that he can’t use foreign policy to his advantage and has embarrassed himself on the few occasions he’s tried, notably his bizarre performance the morning after the murder of America’s ambassador to Libya." This is unfair. Romney was stating the obvious and has been proven right, yet he still is the target for ridicule for his correct position. His performance was not "bizarre" but on target. How to get that point across?

An abiding lesson of the Obama Presidency is that no tax increase is ever enough. So it´s not surprising that the President´s new budget includes an increase in the death tax only three months after the last increase. In January Mr. Obama and Republicans agreed to tax estates at 40% with an exemption of $5 million ($10 million for couples). That was an increase from 35% and a $5 million exemption. Now only weeks later he´s again looking for more, as his budget proposes to raise the rate to 45% and reduce the exemption to $3.5 million.

Since he first became a presidential candidate, President Obama must have spent millions of dollars in legal expenses to combat dozens of so-called "birther" challenges seeking the original documents pertaining to his birth. As president, he famously issued an electronic document on the White House website in 2011; the document purported to be his long-form birth certificate, though it is apparently a forgery.
