Forcible Sodomy During
Tour in Afghanistan

ABC News, by Luis Martinez

An Army brigadier general has been charged with forcible sodomy, inappropriate relationships, and possessing alcohol and pornography while serving as a senior commander in Afghanistan earlier this year. Brig. Gen. Jeffrey Sinclair, a deputy commanding general of the 82nd Airborne Division, faces a possible court martial over the charges handed down Wednesday. In May, Sinclair was sent home to the United States in the middle of his combat tour in Afghanistan, where he was serving in the southern Afghanistan province of Kandahar as the deputy commander of logistics and support for the 82nd Airborne.

People like this make the national news, but heroes seldom attract attention unless they die.

Right #1 - this General was doing his best to emulate Bill Clinton. Other actual men like Lt. Col. Chris Raible were counterattacking the jihad boys. Raible died last week while fighting off the attack on Camp Bastion using only his sidearm.

Like being a rock star or a politician, why bother to become a General if you can't have a little fun ?

Of course, the answer is: Because there is an organized group of international killers who are taking over the planet. But, other than that....party on.....Waaaahoooo !

First the Clintonista and now the obamunists have stocked our upper career officer ranks with 'their people'. Next adminstration needs to flush 'em as fast as possible - and move serious professionals into their slots. Bush made the same mistake not firing the DOJ attorneys when he took office, among other things.

Will this be announced as a civilian trial so Holder can call it a non-event and refuse to hold a trial or will it be announced as a military trial so the CIC can call it a non-event and refuse to have a trial held. After all, you don't want the general public pointing fingers saying 'I told you so'.

General officers don't just wake up one day and decide to commit multiple felonies. This Sinclair cat has very likely been breaking and bending rules his whole career. I'm also quite sure some of his earlier rule breaking/bending was ignored by his superiors. I hope they're proud.

BOSTON - A law enforcement official has told CBS News that an arrest has been made in the Boston Marathon bombings. The person has been taken into custody by federal marshals and will be in court Wednesday afternoon. Investigators made a “clear identification” of a suspect in the bombings, according to CNN, with surveillance video. Correspondent John King, a Boston native, said authorities have a clear video image of a “dark-skinned male” placing a bag at the second bomb site outside of the Forum restaurant on Boylston Street and then leaving the area before that explosion. Investigators believe they have identified a suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings, a source who has been briefed on the investigation told CNN´s John King exclusively. The breakthrough came from analysis of video from a department store near the site of the second explosion. Video from a Boston television station also contributed to the progress, said the source, who declined to be more specific but called it a significant development. Earlier, a federal law enforcement source with firsthand knowledge of the investigation told CNN that a lid to a pressure cooker thought to have

Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) on Tuesday proposed legislation that would require hospitals to maintain a minimum nurse-to-patient ratio at all times, and allow the government to audit and penalize hospitals that fail to comply with this rule. Boxer said her bill, S. 739, is meant to help address the nation´s shortage of nurses, and would also ensure patients get the care they need while in the hospital. "I am proud to introduce legislation that will help save the lives of countless patients by improving the quality of care in our nation’s hospitals," Boxer said Tuesday.

Tim Huelskamp is among the most recent to express concern, saying Tuesday that Boehner “assured us” that he´d seek a majority Republican coalition before proceeding on controversial bills. “Why do we have the majority if we don’t do what the majority wants?”

President Barack Obama has said he doesn´t believe North Korea can fit a nuclear warhead on a missile, casting strong doubt on an alarming assessment disclosed last week by the Pentagon´s intelligence arm. And he warned the young North Korean leader Kim Jong Un that weeks of threats against the United States and South Korea had only served to isolate the regime further. Asked in an NBC News interview whether North Korea could put a nuclear weapon on a ballistic missile, Obama said, "Based on our current intelligence assessments, we do not think that they have that capacity."

The immigration bill senators introduced Wednesday bans racial profiling by federal law enforcement officers in most routine encounters, such as traffic stops. Under current federal law and court precedents, racial discrimination is illegal — but there is no specific ban on racial profiling by federal officers. But buried inside the 844-page Senate immigration bill is a section specifically prohibiting the use of race or ethnicity as a factor in “routine or spontaneous law enforcement decisions, such as ordinary traffic stops.” Still, that language already represents a compromise. An earlier draft of the bill, reviewed by The Washington Times,

Protocol: President Obama declined to send a high-level delegation to Wednesday´s funeral of Britain´s Margaret Thatcher. It´s a measure of how little he values the special relationship — and a sign of his own smallness. Back in more gracious times, vice presidents routinely attended funerals of foreign dignitaries. As such, the presence of Vice President Joe Biden — if not Obama himself — would seem fitting for as significant a U.S. ally as the late Prime Minister Thatcher, if not out of warmth of feeling, then simply to represent the U.S.´ gratitude. Obama, like all Americans, is standing by, waiting for answers as to who planted two bombs improvised from pressure cookers at the finish line of the storied race, and why. Three Americans were killed in Monday´s attack and more than 170 others were injured. "Anytime bombs are used to target innocent civilians, it is an act of terror," Obama said,

As we now move into the official Political Aftermath period of the Boston bombing — the period that will determine the long-term legislative fallout of the atrocity — the dynamics of privilege will undoubtedly influence the nation’s collective reaction to the attacks. That’s because privilege tends to determine: 1) which groups are — and are not — collectively denigrated or targeted for the unlawful actions of individuals; and 2) how big and politically game-changing the overall reaction ends up being.

Flake, who is not up for reelection until 2018, has been close to Kelly and Giffords. But Kelly said the issue of control trumped their ties.
