| The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows President Obama attracting support from 47% of voters nationwide, while Mitt Romney earns the vote from 46%. Three percent (3%) prefer some other candidate, and four percent (4%) are undecided. See daily tracking history. When “leaners” are included, the candidates are tied at 47% apiece. Leaners are those who are initially uncommitted to the two leading candidates but lean towards one of them when asked a follow-up question. Beginning October 1, Rasmussen Reports will be basing its daily updates solely upon the results including leaners.

The conventional wisdom - whatever that is - seems to be that undecideds are mostly those who voted for the incumbent last time and are not prepared to do it again.

I have gotten a million phone calls from "Unknown" on my cell phone.
I dont answer them, I know there political.
Mostly, conservatives have given up talking about this crap. Just waiting for Nov. 6.
It will take an act of God to Keep me away from the poles.
I am convinced there are millions just like me on this one.

Pro golfers, golf writers, and TV commentators are up in arms that Tiger Woods was only given a 2-stroke penalty for his illegal drop on the 15th hole yesterday. Tiger said last night that he dropped his ball two yards behind his previous spot, clearly violating the rule that you must drop "as nearly as possible" to your original spot. Golf people are not happy about it. They say that the new rule is B.S. (or it´s at least being misinterpreted), and Tiger should DQ himself to save the integrity of the game.

Leaders of the five BRICS nations plan to create a development bank in a direct challenge to the World Bank that they accuse of Western bias. The owner of a gun store in Tucson, Ariz., has canceled Mark Kelly’s purchase of an AR-15 because the gun control advocate doesn’t plan on keeping the assault weapon. The teen, known only as "Witness 8," is considered to be the prosecution´s key witness, but Zimmerman´s attorneys said she lied during a deposition by the Martin family´s attorney, Benjamin Crump. A new motion filed Monday said the state knew Witness 8, said to be a girlfriend of Trayvon Martin´s from Miami, had been lying, but never came out with it.

Marine Sergeant Eusebrio Lopez, 25, shot and killed two fellow Marines before turning the gun on himself last Thursday evening at the base they were stationed at in Quantico, Virginia. DECATUR, Texas — A man who led Texas authorities on a 100 mph car chase that ended in a shootout Thursday and may be linked to the slaying of Colorado’s state prison chief is a paroled prison inmate, officials said. The Denver Post reported that the man is 28-year-old Evan Spencer Ebel. In the 2014 budget he announced last week, Obama proposed a more accurate way of calculating the inflation rate for annual cost-of-living increases in Social Security. Only one of my six children has left New York for economic reasons but the strain of living in this expensive nanny state is weighing heavy on my other five and their families. As a native New Yorker, I´ve seen its middle class population decline over the years due to its neglect of blue collar families which is ironic since this is a Democrat city. With the recent arrests of several local politicians for corruption perhaps New Yorkers will pay more attention to those they put in office. Given their past indifference in local elections this is highly unlikely.
