And the speeches President Obama and Mitt Romney gave at the Clinton Global Initiative in New York on Tuesday were as different as the men themselves. "Human traffricking" is a by-product of unfettered illegal third world imigration which 0bama and the left supports. This is yet another example (as if we needed another) of leftists seeking a solution to a problenm THEY created.

The Saudi Arabian man who is reportedly in police custody following the Boston Marathon bombing was chased and tackled by bystanders shortly after the blast, according to CBS. Senior correspondent John Miller, a former assistant director of the FBI, reported this: There is an individual in custody … he is not free to go. There is an individual in custody … he is not free to go. He is a Saudi national who was near the scene of the blast. When the blast happened he began to run. The US Justice Department won´t seek the death penalty for a Colombo crime family consigliere accused of sanctioning the 1997 murder of NYPD Officer Officer Ralph Dols. US Attorney General Eric Holder issued the course-reversing directive -- made public today -- without citing a rationale for his shift. Now Colombo wiseguy Joel "Joe Waverly" Cacace, 72, will face a maximum penalty of life in prison if he´s convicted at his upcoming mob murder trial in Brooklyn federal court. Cacace is already serving a 20-year sentence for other mob crimes that has him scheduled to be released in June 2020

President Barack Obama’s second term has so far been a story of high liberal hopes and scant liberal achievements. The president has been re-elected, demographic trends favor the growth of his coalition, his party has a technological edge, and his opposition is confused and divided. One might therefore expect Obama to be enacting the legislative agenda of that rising coalition. Yet the White House has to be disappointed, whatever it says, by the way the second term has been going.

The United States is pressing Russia to use its influence to help reduce tensions with North Korea. Washington and Moscow are also at odds over the civil war in Syria. The announcement of the September meeting came after Obama´s national security adviser Tom Donilon held discussions with Putin and other leaders during a trip to Russia.

Last September, in an interview with “60 Minutes,” Obama laid the blame for the federal budget deficit on the policies he inherited from President George W. Bush. “Over the last four years, the deficit has gone up, but 90 percent of that is as a consequence of two wars that weren’t paid for, as a consequence of tax cuts that weren’t paid for, a prescription drug plan that was not paid for, and then the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression,” Obama declared.

Longtime family friend Joe Petro III says Winters died Thursday evening at his Montecito, Calif., home of natural causes. Winters was a master of improvisational comedy, with a grab bag of eccentric personalities and facial expressions. NEWARK — A young Newark man who allegedly robbed former Newark Mayor Sharpe James of a gold chain Thursday was arrested and charged early this morning, police said. Alhafeez Williams, 20, was arrested and charged with robbery at about 2 a.m. by Newark police, after he had been apprehended at a PATH station in New York, Newark police said.(snip) James was Newark´s mayor from 1986 to 2006. He also held a state senate seat from 1999 to 2008. In April 2008, he was convicted of five counts of fraud by a federal jury and was sentenced to 27 months in prison.

Since he first became a presidential candidate, President Obama must have spent millions of dollars in legal expenses to combat dozens of so-called "birther" challenges seeking the original documents pertaining to his birth. As president, he famously issued an electronic document on the White House website in 2011; the document purported to be his long-form birth certificate, though it is apparently a forgery. In light of the explosions that have rocked Boston on Patriots’ Day, during the city’s annual marathon, NBC reporter Luke Russert took to Twitter to speculate that today’s horrific events could possibly be related to the 1993 government siege on the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas — an incident often attached to conversations about “right-wing terrorism” and anti-government violence. “I was at Fenway Park w my dad and @mikebarnicle during Waco which was on Patriots Day in 1993.
