Barack Obama to UN: another painfully
‘historic’ speech for young Democrats
to download on their iPods

Telegraph [UK], by Tim Stanley

Original Article

Obama’s speeches all come in one tone--what the mainstream media calls “historic”.[Snip] He should’ve torn into the dictators, slammed the terrorists and explained why the US doesn’t censor its private citizens. He did all of the above, but diluted with so much else that was painfully “historic” that it sounded more like “I Want to Teach the World to Sing.” Obama’s message? The world wants freedom, but a handful of nasty people living in caves are distracting us. So let’s all be like Gandhi and try to get along. Here’s what Mr History got wrong.

President Obama is Ted Baxter!! Historic!

There is something really really weird and creepy about an American president proclaiming that the future does not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam. This is not the way Americans talk. Obama is not an American. He doesn't get the free speech thing. He is not alone. Leftists as a group have real problems with it. That's why they invented political correctness(a Communist practice, BTW). Obama and his fellow Leftists are itching to add Mohammed and Muslims to their long list of people and groups that cannot be criticized. I'd bet American universities, those beacons of free speech and critical thinking, have long since done so. Shoot Mohammed a bird on an American campus and you will probably have a lot of explaining and apologizing to do.

Leftists think the only speech that is unconditionally free is that pertaining to sex, obscenity, public vulgarity, anti-Americanism, and of course Christianity, white people, males and heterosexuals. Anything goes on those subjects, the nastier and more offensive the better. Everybody and everything else must be treated respectfully and with civility, regardless of how they behave. Indeed, for Leftists, the worse "minorities" behave, the more respectfully they must be treated. It's kind of crazy, actually. But there is a method in their madness. It comes from moral cowardice - and, not infrequently, physical cowardice to boot.

What a hopeless, naive, grandiose dummy our president is. He has not grown in office, because he is incapable of learning from experience. It is impossible to learn anything new when he knows it all already.

A nation capable of entrusting a man like this with its highest office is in real trouble. A nation that, having done it once, goes ahead and does it again, is done for.

So both Preezy (aka Teleprompter Messiah) and DinnerJacket (aka nutjob) both think that Israeli concerns about nukes are "noise". They both used the same term - noise. There was something else where both used the same term to describe something which has now slipped fro my memory.

And the whole "diversity is strength" reminds me of the script from a Denny's commercial that ran around Labor Day or Forth of July where one of the actors said "it proves or differences really are our strengths."

We are only strengthened by our differences when we are working toward a common goal.

Apologizing for what makes us different (Liberty) and exhibiting weakness in the face of aggression defines us a victims.

The middle east occupants and other nations that adopted Islam have gone backwards since. The Arabs were a potent force in the world as intellectuals but all that went down the drain when Islam took over.

So is Islam the future or the past...we all know the answer to that and the people who practice it prove it every day.

This piece is a great takedown of Obama -- skewering his fatuity, pomposity, and muddle-headedness (or more likely that of his speechwriters). Everyone would have been better served if he had snubbed the U.N. as he did the world leaders, and had gone on MTV or Dr. Phil or something, to sort of round off his visit to "The View" a/k/a Four Screeching Chicks.

Contrary to what Obama said (and his Muslim audience believes), the fact is the future HAS belonged to those who slandered Islam's false prophet. Consider the advance of western civilization through the ages while Muslim civilization has remained mired in 6th-century primitiveness. Dante, a forerunner of the European Renaissance, assigned Mohammed a special place in Hell in his masterpiece "The Divine Comedy". And today only the most backward people in third-world societies esteem him.

Our Fascist loving President loves Gandhi and loves to quote him. So do I; Here is a quote from Nicholson Baker's book, Human Smoke:

"If Hiterl and Mussolini chose to over run England, (Gandhi) said, "Let them take possession of your beautiful island, with your many beautiful buildings. You will give all of these but neither your souls, nor your minds"

"If these gentlemen (Hitler and Mussolini) choose to occupy your homes, you will vacate them. If they do not give you free passage out, you will allow yourself, man, woman and child, to be slaughtered, but you will refuse to give allegiance to them."

End quote.

Now that's the Gandhi I know and the Gandhi that disgusts me. I thank God every day the British people rejected this insane blatherer outright and stood up and fought the bloody fight for civilization and freedom. Otherwise, we would still be suffering under the darkest of times imaginable.

Typical of a creepy little gerbil like Øbama to honor a man of surrender and shame than a man of honor, courage and the free spirit of human kind like Churchill.
