Obama’s Tragic Pander: ‘The Future

Mediaite, by Noah Rothman

Addressing the representatives of the United Nations General Assembly in a time of global crisis, President Barack Obama opted to legitimize the growing chorus of critics who condemn America’s provocative right of free speech. The president’s address to the world was anything but a full-throated defense of American values. It was, instead, an abundantly disappointing abdication of his responsibility to defend the cherished freedoms of the nation he leads. Speaking to the assembled delegates of the nations of the world, Obama addressed the crisis in the Middle East – one ongoing since the publication of cartoons of the

I just had to post what was on Allen West's website in response to the coward 0bama's speech: “The future does not belong to those who attack our Embassies and Consulates and kill our Ambassadors. The Angel of Death in the form of an American Bald Eagle will visit you and wreak havoc and destruction upon your existence.”

Excellent! I wish we had more men like him in Washington.

Read the article and the last paragraph...in which of fear of the future is expressed.

You know... We can solve this...throw this apologist and his free-loading wife and mother-in-law out of office.

He can then move to Mecca where he can spend the rest of his days walking in that big circle with his buddies.

I had thought that when The Won famously (and egregiously) had proclaimed, "You didn't build that!", that he had reached a high point of - something, certainly not transcendental revelation, but a simple truth in which he believes fervently.

Now he has managed to outdo even his previous best efforts, "The future must not be to those who slander the Prophet (profit?) of Islam." His allegiance is now firmly with the Muslim Brotherhood.

Another simple truth revealed about his personal articles of faith.

Like someone posted it does not matter now where he was born he is not a true American.

It's the 'moral equivalency' trick answer.

There is only one side in this war that wakes up hating the other side.

The West is largely oblivious to the ancient insanities of the middle east. We can not even be held responsible for preferring Christianity any more but Islam is backward looking and derives great power from it's endless anger.

A call for mutual respect and tolerance is grotesque. It is "Tolerance" itself that the Jihadis object to.

What Joe Wilson said remains both true and at the service of our enemies.

Essentially what Obama said is that to get their world blasphemy laws through, that the Muslims are going to have to include all religions, but that is self evident and was just another Obama straw man, and of course he was just giving cover to the Muslims when they move ahead, certainly with Obama's support, to get that job done.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”
