Passing the buck in dramatic fashion on the world stage, President Barack Obama told the UN General Assembly this morning that the U.S. government was not responsible for the anti-Islam video that he once again blamed for recent attacks on U.S. embassies in the Middle East. He added that more guards at the U.S. consulate in Benghazi would not have helped save Ambassador Chris Stevens, and that the real problem was "deeper causes" such as religious intolerance. "[I]t will not be enough to put more guards in front of an Embassy; or to put
Comments: He didn't even mention the SEALs who were also murdered. They're just an afterthought to 0bama or to be used when it is politically expedient.
This is sad for those three others that died. This is a disgrace by our President. The parents and wives of these brave men should be outraged as well as all Americans. I hope voters will wake up and see that Obama does not care for this country. We must defeat him on November 6th.
I have seen the video. It is innocuous, by my standards, partially played for laughs, and not as amateurish as we have been led to believe. Only a Muslim could be upset with it and it is not hateful, disgusting or pornographic. In fact, it is reasonably tasteful and the actors are well costumed and pretty good actors.
The blame game goes on... 0 does not care about foreign policy. He handed it all over to hellery, and she turned the State Dept. into her ideal of the peace corps. Now, America haters all over the world are encouraged, because they have found the door unlocked and the fort unprotected. Remember, even Barny Fife had one bullet...
0 is carrying on business as usual, hoping that the islamos are satisfied with his lip service. But, all of our embassies are sitting ducks waiting for the next round of terror and murder. And, they still hate us.
Obama is living in a fairyland. He is essentially saying that there is no such thing as effective security at American embassies and consulates that could keep a determined band of Muslims from murdering American diplomats unless the world caves to the demands of those Muslims.
If the Muslims did what they did in Benghazi to a Russian embassy or consulate, it would not be long before the Russians responded with brutal force, the Muslims know that, so you don't see the Muslims messing with the Russians.
FTA - "He added that more guards at the U.S. consulate in Benghazi would not have helped save Ambassador Chris Stevens,...."
Well yeah, if you don't allow them to carry arms then most probably more guards would not have helped. But if you allow the guards to carry weapons then I would point out that you just haven't seen a Bushmaster Chain Gun being fired or a 50 cal. Machine Gun. Both of which could most certainly changed the equation a bit.
He's 10% responsible for this, Bush was responsible for that, the Congress didn't do this, the Supreme Court did or didn't do that, so and so wasn't fair, you just are simply wrong, you obviously don't understand, the bureaucracy failed to implement, if I just had more time, give me a second chance...
There are whining five year olds who take more responsibility than this guy.
I had to take a moment just now and not write the justifiably vile things on my mind about this piece of human trash, for I would surely be banned. He, the Lunch Lady, Salacious and Malicious should all be exiled to the coldest, furthest place from the American people.
0bama is our international embarrassment. He wants to be something significant to the whole world. Too bad we can't simply kick him out and give him to them. They'd learn, just as the French fools are learning about Hollande.
It is a poorly done play of first grade quality that has adults acting poorly done parts. I have to suppose the Mooslime's problem is that it portrays Mohamad as a man born to a woman not married, he grows up a dolt and womanizer. I was insulted by the extremely poor story line and plot let alone the Mooslimes ranting about their 'prophet or profit or whatever'.
Anyone that can get worked up about this has to be a low grade moron...nuff said.
BO - "Eees not my yob!" Imagine an employee sitting in a supervisor's office for his first yearly review. The company he works for had very high hopes for him, but he's screwed up everything he was hired to do with his arrogance, taking too much time off & publicly trashing the boss. Yet he sits there with a straight face & blames his predecessor for all of his mistakes. Then in the next breath, he asks that he keep the job so that he can keep doing the same. How many bosses would keep an employee like that on?
I believe every nation has to go through an Øbama disaster to wake itself up. Remember, even Britain had a Chamberlain before they had a Churchill. I know; the damage the Øbama's cause is horrible, hellish, in fact- and costs many, many innocent lives. But, that is the way of nations. Let us pray that we get away with nothing more than these few brave Americans lost and the hot flush of such embarrassment world wide. We can re-build after our disaster. But, also, let us resolve to never again allow such a creature as Øbama into our White House!
If I was a conspiracy theorist I could have a field day with this. Egypt only as Libya is another story. There is circumstantial evidence that Obama conspired with the Muslim Brotherhood to stage the protests over the film. He did meet with them before the protests began. Word is out that some protesters were paid. The purpose is to control hate speech (i.e. anti-Obama speech) in America. Don't laugh. Obama said something that many have missed in his UN speech. "We insisted on change in Egypt because our support for democracy ultimately put us on the side of the people." WE INSISTED. People here are smart enough to know that Obama may have done more than just support the Arab Spring. I'm having those closet Muslim thoughts again. Like he did with Fast and Furious he may think that if he repeats the movie lie long enough people will believe it. Then there's that executive order he plans to sign soon to give him the power to hit a kill switch on the internet. So he's going around Congress again. It's probably paranoia but I have learned to hope for the best but expect the worst from Barry. Anyway it's fun to pretend to be a mystery writer and speculate.
My Grandmother broke me, at four years old, of using excuses with a yard stick. This liar in thief resident wh queen insect ∅bexcuser would probably need a medieval Inquisition specialist to cure it of it's lying. Since it is a dimfecal this cure may not be possible. Cite poka-hont-ass warren.
Stevens was not just Ambassador, probably CIA asset and in grave danger from the start of his clandestine arrival in country. To take a video months old and hardly seen by easily manipulated illiterate Muslim thugs, and then use taxpayer monies to produce in rapid fire an apology to the Muslim world...infuriating beyond words.
My loathing and fear of this WH occupier is probably surpassing our hostess' same for WJC back in the day.
The USA will be able to feed all our Beef supplying animals for the next ten years from the Straw Man Obama built in his UN speech [Yes he did build that] to save Hillary and his Administration FROM ANY responsibility for the Murder of those at the Embassy.
I know this is awful, but I have to partially blame Stevens for his own demise. As a big lib/prog himself, he had to know that this administration was not going to be concerned with his well being. And certainly, as such, he was part of the misguided way of thinking they all suffer from, but come on! Even if I was an ardent Zero supporter, I seriously doubt I would trust this administration to protect me as they throw me in the lion's den. We know this already, but we all need to recognize that these people don't think like the rest of us. It's like the idiot yesterday who jumped intl the lions area at the zoo because, he "wanted to be with the lions". Help me here to understand this way of thinking.
The fact that the Candy in Chief is still using the video excuse , makes me wonder if the video wasn't produced and planted by Axelrod cut outs. This way, if a terrorist attack happened on the Candy in Chief's watch before the election, they could point to the video as the culprit, not Candy's failures. Candy insults private security firms , many made up of former Operators , like Academi ( Blackwater ) and the military by saying they couldn't have prevented the murders. He obviously believes a Muslim mob will always be superior to our guys. The trailer looks like a 5th grader made a spoof ala Borat. It's one step above a cartoon. It obviously doesn't take much for Obama's people to burn , rape and behead. I heard Obama's going on tour with his favorite rapper. They're going to call it Lay-Z and Jay-Z.
He set the stages-he is supposedly the most powerful man on earth. Too bad it is negative power--the power to tear down, kill, or blow up, even if it is just rhetorically.
The Boffo as the ultimate weapon in the commies that went democrat and the muzzies and both who xuped unsuspecting blacks with hate anad envy and lies (the Devil's tools) actually is caught as the face of the movement and about to be found out, IMO.
And the socialist presstitutes? Are the semi-liberals in the media yet starting to squirm? Or, IOW, are their any honest left leaning journalists.
Joel Gilbert at the Press Club Dinner speech video showed the Journalist creedo of 1905 and told them they should be doing it. Luckily the internet makes them superfluous if they don't.
It is his fault. The country had a stable leader that even called Obama his brother. Same with Egypt. Because of Obama the world has become far more dangerous. All those dead in Libya for what? HAS IT MADE THE WORLD ANY BETTER?
BO: It's not my fault, it's not my FAULT!!!The attack had nothing to do with my administration. The fact the attack was on 9/11 and the terrorists were heavly armed means nothing!!! IT WAS ALL ABOUT THE FILM!!! It might have been George Bush's fault, but it was clearly not mine. "I'm sorry this happened AND Americans were murdered but I have to fly to Las Vegas and raise some money." It is way past time to get rid of this lying Chicago hustler and elect a "straight arrow" with a fantastic reputation for solving problems and telling the truth.
This is the purported complete movie of 74 minutes and it is embedded in this link. The one so many other places on the net have posted is a mere 13 minutes and is supposedly a "trailer". Lots more here:
"Innocence of Islam Full Production ? Yes, it is true!">i> http://islamexposed.blogspot.com/2012/09/innocence-of-islam-full-production-yes.html
PRESIDENT RONALD REAGAN: Behind me is a memorial that symbolizes the ranger daggers that were thrust into the top of these cliffs and before me are the men who put them there. These are the boys of Flintaho. These are the men who took the fiscal cliffs. These are the champions who helped free a continent and these are the heroes who helped end a war. (END VIDEO CLIP) That was inspiring. It felt so good listening to our president - such important date in our history. He traveled 4,000 miles across the Atlantic to honor those who fought or
President Obama awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor, to 16 recipients Wednesday morning, recognizing the achievements of a diverse group of Americans ranging from Ernie Banks and Benjamin C. Bradlee to Bill Clinton and Oprah Winfrey. Before bestowing the medals, Obama paid tribute to each recipient, saving his comments on Clinton for last and expressing gratitude for the former president’s advice and counsel, as well as his work to help the victims of natural disasters after he left office.
A new video from the conservative group American Values targets the president and 27 Democratic senators who echoed his false promise that Americans would be allowed to keep their health insurance under Obamacare. Five key Senate Democrats up for reelection get special attention in the new video: Illinois Sen. Dick Durbin, Alaska Sen. Mark Begich, North Carolina Sen. Kay Hagan, New Hampshire Sen. Jeanne Shaheen and Louisiana Sen. Mary Landrieu. “President Obama has been exposed for lying,” said the video. “But Obama wasn’t the only one who lied. So did dozens of prominent Democratic office holders,” said the video which listed the
One person has taken more of political beating than President Obama with the nation’s attention focused on the botched Obamacare rollout: Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. Sebelius survived a series of contentious hearings on Capitol Hill in the wake of the glitch-plagued launch of the healthcare.gov website, but Democrats are growing weary of defending her amid an onslaught of attacks that paint the health secretary as the face of government incompetence. The revelation that Sebelius was aware of problems with the online marketplaces six months before they went live — as was Obama — have created a fresh
WASHINGTON — President Obama has announced $100 million in grants to help better prepare high school students to compete in the global economy. The White House says the Youth CareerConnect program will help schools train students for in-demand industries, including science, technology, engineering and math. The government will award up to 40 grants to allow high schools to team up with higher education institutions and employers. The grants will be awarded early next year. Money for the awards will come from the Labor Department. Obama announced the program during remarks Tuesday at The Wall Street Journal CEO Council annual meeting.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi says although some Democrats may be voting politically to distance themselves from Obamacare, they were still supporting the law and working in their districts to implement it. "This is history and the future and progress," she stated emphatically, "It stands right there as Social Security, Medicare, affordable health care, as a right, not a privilege for the few, but a right for the many." She was speaking Tuesday at an event sponsored by BuzzFeed. Pelosi acknowledged she was "really disappointed" that the technology behind the website failed, but said she was excited to see the program fully
Georgetown University is scheduled to host an event on Egypt that features a member of Egypt’s Nazi Party. Georgetown University’s Prince Al Waleed Bin Talal Center for Christian Muslim Understanding is scheduled to host a Dec. 5 event on “Egypt and the Struggle for Democracy.” The event features a slew of speakers sympathetic to the Muslim Brotherhood, as well as Coptic Christian Ramy Jan, who cut his teeth on the Egyptian political scene as a member of the country’s Nazi Party, according to multiple sources. The event is scheduled to take place all day at Georgetown’s ICC auditorium and feature a keynote address
After reiterating his issues with the Affordable Care Act, which he has more vocally opposed than some of his Democratic colleagues have, Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) fielded a question Wednesday morning from Fox & Friends host Steve Doocy on why the only Democrats proposing fixes to the ACA were ones up for reelection in vulnerable districts. “Why is it that aside from you, the only other Democrats who are talking about fixing this—I mean, it seems like a lot of members of your party are in denial—are the ones who are going to be in tough elections next year?” Doocy
According to Page Six, MSNBC execs are “cold” to the idea of ever having Alec Baldwin return to his hosting gig on the network. His Up Late show had been temporarily suspended last week after footage emerged of the actor shouting a profanity-laced tirade at a paparazzo. Speaking with New York Post sources at the network, Page Six claims that “MSNBC chiefs are not exactly falling over themselves to get boisterous Baldwin back in the building.” The paper quotes one insider as saying “[Baldwin] would only show up at work an hour a week to prep for the show, and
WASHINGTON, November 19, 2013 — Obamacare funnels $375 million into pro-abortion, pro-gay sex-education for public schools while the feds push their controversial Common Core school curriculum. Schoolchildren are on the front lines of the culture war and not by accident. Patricia Nell Warren, writing in America’s largest homosexual magazine, The Advocate, put it succinctly: “Whoever captures the kids owns the future.” The National Education Association and the National Parent Teacher Association work with progressive groups that redefine the family, human relationships, and life itself. Tax-funded programs introduce children to sexuality and even entice them with cash to participate in sex surveys
Sen. Ted Cruz, Texas Republican, got into a somewhat tense exchange with CNN host Chris Cuomo on Wednesday morning after Mr. Cuomo accused Mr. Cruz of supporting a repeal of President Obama’s health care overhaul without offering specific alternatives to help fix the country’s health care problem. “In my view, coming together to stop Obamacare is the essence of pragmatism because it is self-evident this isn’t working — nobody’s defending it, and the reasonable, common sense thing to do is simply to start over,” Mr. Cruz said on CNN’s “New Day.” “This is killing jobs, and over 5 million people losing
President Obama will not make a written apology to the Afghan people for “mistakes” made during the war in their country, National Security Adviser Susan Rice said Tuesday. Reports to that effect reflected “a complete misunderstanding of what the situation is,” she told CNN’s “The Situation Room” Tuesday afternoon. “No such letter has been drafted or delivered,” Rice said. “There is not a need for the United States to apologize to Afghanistan – quite the contrary. We have sacrificed and supported them in their democratic progress and in tackling the insurgency and al-Qaeda.” On the same day, the Associated Press reported that Secretary
In the home stretch of the 2012 presidential campaign, from August to September, the unemployment rate fell sharply — raising eyebrows from Wall Street to Washington. The decline — from 8.1 percent in August to 7.8 percent in September — might not have been all it seemed. The numbers, according to a reliable source, were manipulated. And the Census Bureau, which does the unemployment survey, knew it. Just two years before the presidential election, the Census Bureau had caught an employee fabricating data that went into the unemployment report, which is one of the most closely watched measures of the economy. And a knowledgeable
President Barack Obama told the Wall Street CEO Council Tuesday that his administration has "reined in spending" and "cut our deficits by more than half." "After years of trillion-dollar deficits we reined in spending, wound down two wars and began to change a tax code that I believe was too skewed towards the wealthiest among us at the expense of the middle class," said Obama. "And since I took office, we have now cut our deficits by more than half. Add it all and businesses like yours have created 7.8 million new jobs over the past 44 months, we´ve gone farther
Barack Obama is the coolest president we’ve had since John F. Kennedy, at least according to conventional standards for such things. Obama has always been a brand as much as a politician, one that has been perceived as sleek, smart, and up to date. Then along came HealthCare.gov. Its failure to launch is a signal event in the long political battle over Obamacare and perhaps an inflection point in the president’s image. It’s hard to maintain a sense of truly being on the cutting edge of change when you can’t build a website. Obama’s cool was, in part, an artifact of world-class
Negligence? Absolutely. Incompetence? The case can be made. But scandalous? To suggest that the White House has willfully engaged in the intentional misleading of the public and an outrageous dereliction of its responsibilities to enforce the laws passed by Congress has been a bridge too far. Until recently. New revelations are now forcing even the most reluctant of President Barack Obama’s critics to concede that the Affordable Care Act’s implementation has evolved into a scandal. “I was not informed directly that the website would not be working, as the way it was supposed to,” Obama told reporters on November 14.
In an interview on BET last night with Bow Wow and Keshia Chante, First Lady Michelle Obama talked up her husband, President Barack Obama. "I always say my husband has got swag," said Mrs. Obama. "He’s got a little swag." The audience applauded. Mrs. Obama also said that the president of the United States "sings all the time." She continued, "Oh, yes, he’s in the bathroom all the time just singing." She also praised her husband. "[H]e has got a good voice." Here´s a transcript of that exchange:
A downbeat President Barack Obama repeatedly asked his worried supporters Monday night to help resurrect his spirits, following weeks of political disasters and personal humiliations caused by the cascading collapse of Obamacare. The distracted president railed against opponents and at one point appeared to forget the number of people in the Obamacare system during the rambling quarter-hour address. “My main message is I’m going to need your help, your energy, your faith, your ability to reach out to neighbors, kids and friends [and] co-workers,” he told listeners to the Internet broadcast arranged by his grass-roots group, Organizing for Action. But his worried
WASHINGTON — Michelle Obama says she won’t wear shorts on Air Force One again because the one time she did, it created “a huge stink.”(snip)Mrs. Obama was asked about her biggest fashion regret. She said she’s always happy with her outfits but that, quote, “sometimes I forget I’m the first lady and I’m running around in shorts.” She recalled her family’s first White House vacation, to the Grand Canyon in August 2009. Mrs. Obama said her wearing shorts getting off the plane “created a huge stink because people were like, ‘she’s wearing shorts getting off of Air Force One.’” She said her thought
On Tuesday, President Barack Obama conceded that he will have to "remarket" and "rebrand" Obamacare as public confidence in him and the healthcare law he championed has plummeted. Speaking at the Wall Street Journal CEO Summit, Obama addressed the failures of the Obamacare rollout and said while he was confident that the healthcare model his administration built, which he claimed worked off of the "existing private insurance system," would succeed, the law would have to be rebranded. “We are going to have to obviously remarket and rebrand,” Obama said. “And that will be challenging in this political environment.” When he
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) says everyone should stop talking so much about the 2016 presidential race, because doing so hurts President Obama, who´s only a year into his second term. "In this sense, I feel badly for President Obama. He just won a year ago, and everybody´s like, ´So, who´s next?´" Christie said Monday night at the Wall Street Journal CEO Council. "There is work to be done in this country. And as we shove him out the door, we minimize his ability to be an effective executive. And we shouldn´t do that." Even as he urged people to focus
President Obama irked some conservatives with his recitation of the Gettysburg Address, which he read aloud as part of a project celebrating the 150th anniversary of famous Lincoln speech. For the project, spearheaded by documentarian Ken Burns, a number of politicians and other high-profile people recorded themselves reading the Gettysburg Address. However, Mr. Obama´s recording seems to be the only one that leaves the phrase "under God" out of a certain line. Some conservatives took offense to the president´s reading. "Lincoln added ´Under God´ as he was looking out over battlefield. why would obama remove?" Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said on Twitter. Gettysburg
The White House has admitted that it was wrong to promise that people would be able to their health care plans under Obamacare. "With respect to the pledge I made that if you like your plan you can keep it, I think -- you know, and I’ve said in interviews -- that there is no doubt that the way I put that forward unequivocally ended up not being accurate. It was not because of my intention not to deliver on that commitment and that promise. We put a grandfather clause into the law but it was insufficient," President Obama said
MICHELLE OBAMA: I thought I wanted to be a pediatrician when I was really little and then I wasn´t that great at math and science so I switched to law because my mother told me that I like to argue a lot. But I realized in high school and in college that you don´t have to exactly know, you´re kind of always discovering yourself. So I studied law, I went to law to school, but was pretty clear I just wanted to be a good student. I wanted to know how to read and write and communicate, be able to
