Chris Christie: If Election
Were Held Tomorrow, ‘That
Would Be A Problem’

Mediaite, by Meenal Vamburkar

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 9/25/2012 10:26:08 AM

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie took a moment to remark on the state of Mitt Romney‘s campaign today, noting there’s much to be done before the finish line come November. But thankfully, they’ve got a bit of time — because were the election tomorrow, he said, it wouldn’t bode well for Team Romney. We had a bad week — if the election were going to be held tomorrow that would be a problem, but there’s a lot of ground to cover in the next 42 days,” Christie told reporters, according to Bloomberg.

Comments:
I guess the usually bombastic Christie didn't know about 0bama's extremely bad week. s/o Language like this is really unnecessary and certainly not helpful.

CC's support for Mitt tailed off and has all but dissappeared since the Ryan VP pick. CC was just posing as a conservative to get on the national ticket. It's all about him and that trait excludes him from the ranks of true conservatism.

These people live and die in the beltway of their own making. Christie is listening to all the chirping. Stop! America has not yet spoken--the talking heads will not stop speaking. All this drivel is meant to dis-spirit us so we'll stay home. We will carry Mitt across the finish line because the alternative is unthinkable!

The beloved state of New Jersey has been experiencing a frightening shortage of pork chops.

Shoppers throughout the state have been searching widely - - and in vain - - for their favorite tasty meat chunks. This shortage is unprecedented - - and its cause remains a complete mystery.

Every time Romney opens his mouth, it is reported as a gaffe. Obama fundraises in Vegas during a crisis, and not a peep.

I do not want to see Republicans agreeing with "news" outlets. Do not let them define our candidate.

I thought Christie was better than that. He is the one who is disappointing me at the moment.

I guess it's getting scary out there for "some", because the old pathetic "pom poms" has returned... Must be really awful to be so frightened of Mitt Romney that they get stuck like a bad record on the same insults. CC, good enough to give the keynote speech, get a test drive as a VP and responsible for bringing his working class urban voters toward Romney, and his insights are worthless?

The disingenuous and intellectually vapid reflexive romney cheerleaders on this board are representative of the kind of complacency and disconnection that will lose a very winnable election.

Perhaps licking envelopes is a task more worthy of one with that level of political and intellectual sophistication at this late hour.

I do not believe Romney is behind in the polls. It is the media who is trying to minipulate the public. They do not need help from RINOs.

One of the first political issues negotiators must tackle in crafting an immigration reform bill is among the most important: what to name it. It’s a decision that will bruise egos, create legacies and deeply affect subsequent messaging battles. “Every time the bill is mentioned in the press, you either have a brand that´s positive or a brand that doesn´t mean anything or even hurts you,” said Frank Sharry, the executive director of the pro-immigration reform group America’s Voice. Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

Gluten-free diets are all the rage, but they can be dangerous if not done right. What is gluten? It´s the spongy complex of proteins, found naturally in wheat, rye, and barley, that gives elasticity to dough and allows it to rise. When flour is moistened and either kneaded or mixed into dough, gluten molecules form an elastic, microscopic latticework that traps the carbon dioxide produced when yeast ferments, causing dough to inflate like a hot air balloon. Baking hardens the gluten, which helps the finished product keep its shape. Wheat — and gluten — is ubiquitous in the American diet.
