| Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said during a conference call Monday that he agreed Mitt Romney had "sullied" their shared Mormon faith with his comments about "47 percent" of Americans secretly recorded during a fundraiser earlier this year. Reid was discussing an op-ed published in the Huffington Post by Gregory A. Prince, who argued in his column that voters should "not judge Mormonism on the basis of the Mitt Romney that was unveiled to the public this week." "He is not the face of Mormonism," Price continued. Reid, on a conference call with reporters, said he agreed

It's not JUST 47%. It's 47% PLUS the blood sucking public sector that thrives from their ignorance. Oh yeah, and the compliant media that peddles the fables to them.

If anything, the testimonials of Mitt Romney's dedication to his "job" as a Mormon pastor and his donation of his time and personal fortune to the mission's of his faith gave me new insight into Mormonism. It certainly elevated my opinion. (Not that I had bad opinion of Mormons in the first place.)
I wonder of Harry Reid can match Romney's gift of time, talent and treasure?

For Harry Reid to pass himself off as a faithful practicing Mormon when everytime he opens his mouth, it's either misrepresentation or an outright lie, is the height of chutzpah. Mitt Romney represents the Mormon faith in an exceptional way and was a Bishop and a Stake President, 2 callings that Harry will never get close to because the Mormons value 'humility.' What an embarrassment!

Thou shalt not speak ill of another Mormon.
I'm not a Mormon, so I can say that Reid is an addle-brained, jealous little has-been who is the most ineffectual senate majority leader ever. Four years without a budget? He is a scared little worm.
Romney has more gumption in his little finger than Reid has ever had in his life.

Coming from someone like "Dirty Harry" Reid, this is remarkable. He has years and even decade to cast filth on that religion. Which he has done repeatedly, his failures and disgusting behavior is legendary inside the beltway. He has no credibility and cannot even define the word integrity. I know he comes from a very liberal Blue state because if he came from anywhere else he would have been fired decades ago and probably been imprisoned for the known crimes that he has committed.
You just can’t fix someone this stupid.

Down-and-dirty-harry-reid has "sullied" the Senate every day he has slimed his way down the halls of Congress. He has "sullied" the image of America by being an evil presence in the U.S. Congress. The Mormon Church should shun this ingrate, but they won't. Too bad.

The LDS believe in free speech. Harry is free to make a complete ass of himself by his sanctimony. There are some liberal LDS people out there, but they usually find ways to criticize the church on their way out the door. Harry will eventually find fault with the church as well and he will blame his alienation on the church rather than his own black heart. The LDS church is strictly neutral on political elections. They do, however take a firm stand on moral issues but they ask members to simply study the issues and exercise their voting rights. Harry should follow the injunction of the bible and look at the BEAM in his own eye before he tries to judge and remove the mote in someone elses. Harry is an idiot and would be if he were not a member of the LDS church.

For better or worse, Mitt Romney IS the face of Mormonism to the majority of the country, a natural side effect of running for POTUS. So far, it is a good face.
Reid, on the other hand, must be the butt hole of the LDS. Opposite end, opposite function, much different life, witness and countenance.

Harry Reid is a jack-Mormon, his soul filled with a darkness that suggests potential irreconcilable differences between himself and the LDS authorities.
(For those of you who do not know, "jack-Mormon" is one of the most withering insults that may be hurled against a practitioner of that faith.)
No matter how scrupulously Harry may keep the rituals of his religion, it is not in his heart, and his burning contempt for Mitt Romney would appear to strengthen the belief that one cannot be a serious practicing Mormon and a liberal Democrat simultaneously.
Harry, you wanted to see how Mitt Romney was receiving and apportioning his annual income, and we found that a large part of disposal of that income was for charitable purposes. How much are YOU giving to either the LDS church or other charitable contributions?
Come on, Harry, put up or shut up. Bearing false witness is a sin punishable under the rules set down in the Decalogue.
Are you ready to challenge Heaven itself?

It’s a decision that will bruise egos, create legacies and deeply affect subsequent messaging battles. “Every time the bill is mentioned in the press, you either have a brand that´s positive or a brand that doesn´t mean anything or even hurts you,” said Frank Sharry, the executive director of the pro-immigration reform group America’s Voice. Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

They´re tired of $100-plus monthly bills. A growing number of them have stopped paying for cable and satellite TV service, and don´t even use an antenna to get free signals over the air. (Snip) Last month, the Nielsen Co. started labeling people in this group "Zero TV" households, because they fall outside the traditional definition of a TV home. There are 5 million of these residences in the U.S., up from

On Friday, Sean Hannity brought Pat Smith, mother of the late Sean Smith, on his radio program. The 34-year-old information management officer was one of four Americans murdered in the Benghazi embassy attack on September 11, 2012. In the chilling interview, a distraught Ms. Smith, in tears, pleaded for answers and spoke of the efforts to silence her. Ms. Smith first relayed how her son, prior to the attack, requested additional security in advance and warned the State Department: He did tell them, ahead of time, he typed it into his little typewriter over there,

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank

I hope all will look at a lifetime of service over some poorly chosen words.” Carson will remain as commencement speaker at Johns Hopkins,

Susan Patton, the Princeton alumna who became famous for her letter urging Ivy League women to use their college years to find a mate, has been denounced as a traitor to feminism, to coeducation, to the university ideal. But really she’s something much more interesting: a traitor to her class. Her betrayal consists of being gauche enough to acknowledge publicly a truth that everyone who’s come up through Ivy League culture knows intuitively —

Gluten-free diets are all the rage, but they can be dangerous if not done right. What is gluten? It´s the spongy complex of proteins, found naturally in wheat, rye, and barley, that gives elasticity to dough and allows it to rise. When flour is moistened and either kneaded or mixed into dough, gluten molecules form an elastic, microscopic latticework that traps the carbon dioxide produced when yeast ferments, causing dough to inflate like a hot air balloon. Baking hardens the gluten, which helps the finished product keep its shape. Wheat — and gluten — is ubiquitous in the American diet.

Newtown killer Adam Lanza may have launched his murder spree at Sandy Hook Elementary School as an “act of revenge,” the Daily News has learned. A close friend of Lanza’s mother told The News that the troubled boy was a target of relentless bullying when he attended the Connecticut school years ago. “I think Adam felt betrayed by the school and this was his act of revenge,” said Marvin LaFontaine, a friend of Nancy Lanza’s. “Nancy told me he was being picked on at school. That they were just torturing him.” Source and text corrected by Staff.

ATTLEBORO, Mass. — As many as 25 students at a Massachusetts school were denied lunch this week — with at least some forced to dump their food in the garbage — because they couldn´t pay, school officials and parents said. Outraged parents said some students at Coelho Middle School in Attleboro cried when they were told by a worker for the district´s food service provider they could not eat on Tuesday because they couldn´t pay or their pre-paid accounts were short on funds. The on-site director for the company, Whitsons Culinary Group of Islandia, N.Y., was placed on administrative leave by
