| During an interview with Piers Morgan last night, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad explained that Osama bin Laden deserved a fair trial, instead of being shot to death by Navy SEALS. Morgan asked Ahmadinejad if he was “pleased” that Navy SEALS had killed Osama bin Laden. “I would have been happier to see a transparent trial, a formal trial, and find out the root causes of all of the events of the last few years,” the Iranian president said via a translator

I’m not sure how widely it was known that Jonathan Winters, whom Robin Williams thought the best comic of his generation, was a conservative. Pro golfers, golf writers, and TV commentators are up in arms that Tiger Woods was only given a 2-stroke penalty for his illegal drop on the 15th hole yesterday. Tiger said last night that he dropped his ball two yards behind his previous spot, clearly violating the rule that you must drop "as nearly as possible" to your original spot.
