And W's bullhorn moment at ground zero doesn't rate I suppose. Further, we are told not to jump to conclusions despite the guy being Muslim ,shouting" Alli Akbar" and declaring he was a Muslim first and an American second. This phony is ruining our country, please God give us a leader with the genes of the founding fathers.

Anyone remember President Bush's reaction to the space shuttle disaster? He returned from Camp David, and delivered a message to the nation in a fittingly somber tone. And the message was about the disaster. And. dNothing. Else.
I miss President Bush.

An Ldotter stated on another thread that he/she never thought he/she would miss Clinton and I never thought that I could agree with that statement; however, I do... It is unfortunate that the "B" keys have gone missing from the nation's lib media keyboards/printers - President Bush spoke from the heart - he could because he could feel and he did not need photo-ops to visit our military... I wonder when/if the military will march the current pretender out of the WH to protect the American citizenry...

'Uh uh, uh uh, uh we're gonna stay on it', he said, waxing eloquent -- or waxing something -- his hollow chest? -- I'm not really sure what. Yes, scripted it was. Eloquent? Not even close.
Put an expensive suit on Mr. Hankey and you can take him anywhere -- as long as he doesn't speak, particularly unrehearsed. At this point in time, he's only continuing to fool the slow-witted. He's a pompous moron.

Article misses the point completely -- Zero behaved the way he did because there is no emotional connection there. There is something essentially human missing in Zero -- it was very easy for him to vote multiple times in favor of infanticide because he was unable to relate to the issue in human terms; same with his grandmother and her hip replacement surgery. And like all sociopaths, the only humanity he can relate to is himself.
I've wondered for a while whether this almost Parkinson-mask he has over his soul is rooted in mental illness or psychotropic drugs taken as a youngster. All he can do is mimic; no delayed empathy is involved -- his acting had to catch up to temper of the moment.

Quite a smackdown coming from the Globe. No wonder no one put their name to it.But yeah his casualness about the incident is yet another defining moment about how unfeeling and uncaring Obama is as a person. Nothing but a glorified android. The WH had to know he screwed up right away because they couldn't get him to Walter Reed fast enough yesterday and now the plan to attend the funeral services. But it's too late the damage is done. He's as unfeeling about this as he is the 10.2% unemployment rate. His statement of we still have a lot of work to do on jobs is about as vacant and empty as it can get.The man doesn't have the sense of a person who recognizes he needs to change course and fast. The problem is everybody would see through it.

Somewhere, in the arms of his latest paramour, Bill Clinton is laughing hilariously. Lest we forget, many credit his "I feel your pain" response to the OKC bombing that gave him the momentum to win the 2nd term. (Well, that, and the GOP running Bob Dole.) Yessir, Bill's got a lot to laugh about these days. O is showing how inept he is, Hillary is showing how inept she is, and Bill gets to do what he wants unnoticed by the world.

Since Obama was elected, I have made it a point to listen to his voice for only as long as it takes me to turn the station. I forced myself to listen to response to the Fort Hood terrorism attack.
I found myself shouting very unladylike words at the radio that would have made a salty sailor blush.
I am outraged and completely enraged at his calousness and flip manner he handled his comments. Have we ever had such an anti American, military hating President in the history of the Republic?

I was in the car with my son when we first heard about the shootings. I, as was everyone else, felt shock and deep concern for our brave men and women. When they announced that the President was going to address the nation I decided to listen (ususlly turn him off) because in times of crisis we are Americans first. After about a minute I remember turning to my son and asking "What is he talking about?" When he finally got to the announcement about Ft. Hood it was like pausing for a commercial break. He started out jovial and all of a sudden got serious, spoke some remarks which were appropriate but obviously not heartfelt and then went back to his agenda again. I was stunned.

Some time ago I posted and talked about Obama's body language. Empathy is either there or not. The words were sort of OK, but as he approached the microphome the body language once again was cold and formal. Is there no heart to this man? Is he speaking about this totally unforgiveable action just because he is supposed to? Bush was always real when facing a disaster and was always there for us. And now Obama is once again traveling? Who's minding the store???

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings; Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun-split clouds, and done a hundred things You have not dreamed of wheeled and soared and swung High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there, I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung My eager craft through footless falls of air... Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue I've topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace Where never lark, nor eer eagle flew And, while with silent lifting mind I've trod The high, untrespassed sanctity of space, Put out my hand and touched the face of God"

One reason for Obama's coldness is that his advisors had long anticipated that a terrorist attack was likely under them. Therefore, they had to have a plan of action to execute when it happened. As soon as the White House found out the shooter was Muslim, they sprang into action. Obama was just executing "the plan". Sure he's cold, but he usually masks it well because of his handlers. This time he winged it - and blew it - and even the liberals noticed.

The Globe neglects to point out that his "shout out" to the "Congressional Medal of Honor" *winner* (these are awarded, not "won") was completely mistaken: the chief had in fact been awarded not the Congressional Medal of Honor but the Medal of Freedom.
The State Run Media is slowly, slowly coming to the realization that happens every day to ninth grade girls across the country: that the wonderful, smart, funny, sexy boy that gave them leg tingles is--ya know what?-- really a big jerk!
Obama's lack of empathy comes from the simple fact that he is not truly an American, does not identify with our country, and never in his life has done so.

Malignant Narcissists are missing that part of the psyche that feels for anyone or anything except themselves:
It takes more than scripted eloquence for presidents to connect with their fellow Americans. It requires a visceral ability to grasp the scope of tragedy, calculate its impact on the national psyche, and react swiftly to it...Obama missed the first moment to show he understood just how much it hurt.
He didn't so much "miss the moment" as he never even understood it. It wasn't about him, so it wasn't important. Notice in the video how many times "I" and "my" were used before he even got to mentioning Ft. Hood.
Obama is a malignant narcissist, a medical term, not a personal attack. Look at this and you will see Obama:

I feel deep pain.. when I think of all the lives lost or damaged forever by one tool of Radical Islam. At the root of such infamy is these Muslims' belief/determination that the whole world must think like they think and live under brutal Sharia Law. They cannot even get along with each other, yet insist all must follow their course. Obama was raised Muslim to age 10.. then was sent under Marxist influence. He does not think like an American. What a travesty that returning battle-stressed soldiers were subjected to counseling from a crazy, treasonous, Muslim psychiatrist! That hurts.

Nobody is mentioning yesterday's do-over speech. Was it only me who noticed its preemptory nature, like something he had to say before getting on to the real point of the speech, the economy? It only made matters worse for him, in my opinion. It just underscored how tone-deaf he really is. I can't psychoanalyze him because I haven't got the training, but he does appear a lightweight. When he gave the speech on Thursday, my immediate response was, "Get your head in the game."
