This is precisely why Rush and many, many others have left or will in future.

NY is so greedy to tax anything. What are they going to do when most of the high-end earners go elsewhere? Tax the middle class 75%? Wouldn't surprise me.

Rush would speak about this from time to time. It's insane. However, Gov Peterson said the reason why they imposed such high taxes was to get Rush to leave their state! NOW thousands of millionaires are also leaving and they are taking their $$$ with them, with NY holding an empty bag. Serves NY right.

No, we in NY are not blind, just out voted at every election by the dependency class in NYC who will line up for any government handout. This once thriving state is bleeding people and has been for more than a generation. It is fast following CA. We returned and stay because our elder family members will not or cannot leave and need assistance. When that time passes we are out of here. Once lived out west in the Rocky Mountain areas and loved it.
