| Even though they may remind you immediately of the worst racists you have known, bigoted bashers of religion often get away with it no matter how shallow, uncomprehending, unfair, overly generalizing, nasty-minded or obviously hostile their attitudes are. Every now and then, however, someone strikes back, such as Archbishop Timothy Dolan of New York. On his Web site, I first learned from a New York Post article, he recently took a swing at anti-Catholicism, particularly as

These are examples of guilt complexes: both MoDo and BM were reared as Catholics; I guess they couldn't cut keeping the commandments. They are two sad cases of sick, very unhappy people! My faith sustains me; theirs drives them crazy.

Those without faith usually harbor a deep hatred of those who do. To the atheist left, faith is lost on them, like a joke they can't understand. Leftists have always derided religion, what has changed is the rise of islam and they strike back. No so funny anymore.

Those who do not know God hate him. Jesus made that very clear. If one hates God, then he/she will hate everything that God stands for!
Our nation must stop tolerating the behavior that results from this hatred. We are each free people to think and do as we please. It does not mean that we don't have to live with those choices. Our Government must begin again to side with God!

I'm far from the first person to speculate about this, but how to people of no faith deal with catastrophe in their lives? Without faith, there is nothing to lean on, drawing strength. How do they cope?

I am AMAZED that the very God of the Universe, who created all and everything, walked among men 2000+ years ago in the PERSON OF JESUS CHRIST, and he had the power to strike them all down--but he chose to ignore them and declare, "The Son of man came to seek and to save that which was lost" "He came not into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved"---He does not FORCE himself on anyone and stands ready to forgive at all times--but only through REPENTENCE--which is a missing note in present day preaching. Atheist, you reject HIM at your own peril. Just as the Saddusees and Pharisees showed their willful ignorance so do you. All creation reveals there was a CREATOR--the beautiful colors of the McCaw--the little sparrow which does not go unoticed by its Creator when it falls to the ground--

#4 They don't cope.
I've worked in nursing homes a long time and athiests don't take the knowledge of their impending deaths too well.
If this lifetime is the only time that we exist then there isn't much reason to hope.
