Fox News’ Brit Hume called out Ted Cruz as an “obvious hypocrite” tonight for attacking Mitch McConnell while refusing to say a bad word about Donald Trump. Even as almost all of his Republican rivals have criticized Trump in one way or another, Cruz has repeatedly refused to do so. He defended Trump’s remarks about Mexican immigrant criminals, and when it came to Trump’s attack on John McCain, Cruz praised McCain’s service but refused to express even polite disagreement with Trump’s statement. There’s been some speculation that Cruz has been doing this to claim Trump’s supporters if/when he flames out, and Cruz

Ivana Trump once accused the real estate tycoon of ‘rape,’ although she later clarified: not in the ‘criminal sense.’ Donald Trump introduced his presidential campaign to the world with a slur against Mexican immigrants, accusing them of being “rapists” and bringing crime into the country. “I mean somebody’s doing it!…Who’s doing the raping?” Donald Trump said, when asked to defend his characterization. It was an unfortunate turn of phrase for Trump—in more ways than one. Not only does the current front-runner for the Republican presidential nomination have a history of controversial remarks about sexual assault, but as it turns out, his ex-wife Ivana

President Obama told the African Union Tuesday that he felt he had been a “pretty good” president and if he were allowed to run for a third term, he’d probably be victorious. Obama made the remarks while criticizing leaders on the continent who wouldn’t step aside at the conclusion of their terms. “Now, let me be honest with you,” Obama said. “I do not understand this. I am in my second term. It has been an extraordinary privilege for me to serve as the President of the United States. I cannot imagine a greater honor or a more interesting job.

Jeb Bush speaks frequently about the time he met his wife as a high school exchange student in Mexico. But he rarely does so in Spanish. And rarely has he spoken about the taunts his own children faced for the color of their skin growing up as half-Hispanic children in Florida. On Monday, Bush spoke in deeply personal terms about his family´s Hispanic heritage -- and did so entirely in Spanish, providing a strong contrast with the recent rhetoric of Donald Trump, whether intentional or not. He also vowed to enact comprehensive immigration reform during his first term as president --

In an interview conducted solely in Spanish, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush tells MSNBC he’s “hurt” by GOP frontrunner Donald Trump’s strident criticisms of Mexican criminal aliens coming across the border. “I was hurt hearing somebody speaking in such a vulgar fashion. This makes solving this problem much more difficult. When we have politicians like that we cannot progress,” said Bush according to a translator. “In a political sense it was bad, and it creates an environment that is worse.” While Bush has consistently attacked Trump for saying that illegal immigration from Mexico has sparked a massive crime wave, he also acknowledged

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on Sunday made tackling climate change one of her key goals were she to enter the White House, pledging to have more than half a billion solar panels installed nationwide by the end of her first term in office. Clinton also called for a major increase in other renewable-energy sources, saying she wants every U.S. home to be powered by clean energy within a decade, reports Reuters. “I want more wind, more solar, more advanced bio-fuels, more energy efficiency,” she said at a weekend rally in Iowa. “And I’ve got to tell you, people who

The GOP "Old Guard" in the Senate Sunday pushed back against outspoken conservative critics, avoiding direct attacks on Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, but making it clear his recent renegade actions are unwelcome in the upper chamber. Without saying a word, the Republican conference sent a powerful message to Cruz and other conservatives like Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, by not backing their efforts to add amendments to a "must-pass" highway spending bill. "Deliberation and reasoned judgment require an atmosphere of restraint, an atmosphere of thoughtful disagreement," Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, who serves as the Senate pro tempore and is the longest-serving GOP lawmaker,

PC: After a Muslim terrorist gunned down unarmed Marines in Tennessee, the head of Homeland Security revealed a policy to downplay any Islamic role in such terror. The feds are now blindfolding each other on the threat. Homeland Security chief Jeh Johnson refuses to call Islamic terror "Islamic," arguing it´s "critical" to refrain from the label in order to "build trust" among Muslims. In jaw-dropping remarks Friday at Aspen Institute´s annual security forum, Johnson said the government will call such attacks "violent extremism" over "Islamic terrorism" out of respect for the Muslim community. The policy explains why the U.S. prosecutor and lead FBI

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush told a Hispanic audience on Monday that illegal aliens must be given U.S. citizenship, and encouraging them to “self-deport” is not an American value. Bush made his remarks at church in Orlando, where he discussed his Christian faith and support for amnesty for illegal aliens, the same day a CNN poll showed that 64 percent of Republican voter support deporting illegals. Self-deportation is another matter: Since the vast majority of illegal aliens commit felonies in order to forge their documents, something like E-Verify could halt fraud in its tracks. Why does the Republican Party exist? What is its purpose as a political entity – to what end do its members work to elect their fellow Republicans? What are its priorities? Whose interests does it serve? Why is this political party still around so long after its primary motivations for creation – the defense of the Union and the end of slavery – were achieved? The Democratic Party exists to serve its clients – but the Republican Party’s justification is more ethereal. Is it just an arbitrary entity seeking a universal negative, designed to push back against Democratic policies and

(Video) President Obama ripped former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee as “ridiculous” and “sad” after the GOP presidential candidate accused the commander in chief of setting up Jews for the next Holocaust. Huckabee told Breitbart News that by cutting this deal with Iran, Obama “will take the Israelis and march them to the door of the oven.” “This is the most idiotic thing, this Iran deal. It should be rejected by both Democrats and Republicans in Congress and by the American people,” he added. In a press conference with the Ethiopian prime minister today, Obama was asked about Huckabee’s comments. “The

In the past two weeks, Sarah Palin has re-affirmed her anti-abortion position with a series of tweets and Facebook posts blasting Planned Parenthood. The organization had been fending off controversy for the past two weeks after two videos emerged depicting the discussion fetal tissue sales, which gave Palin plenty of material to work with. On Sunday, the former GOP vice-presidential candidate posted one of her latest attacks, arguing that despite the recent controversies surrounding the Confederate Flag, the flag is responsible for less deaths of African-American babies than Planned Parenthood.
