Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton sent a passionate video message to the Laborers’ International Union of North America, demanding that they help get the message out about Donald Trump. She pointed out that she was against “Right To Work” and appeared upset that Trump was gaining in the polls despite his record of supporting it. “Having said all this, ‘Why aren’t I 50 points ahead?’ you might ask,” she said, highlighting Trump’s anti-Labor union stance. (Video) “Nobody should be fooled,” she said. Watch the full clip below:
President Barack Obama used a pseudonym in email communications with Hillary Clinton and others, according to FBI records made public Friday. (snip) In an April 5, 2016 interview with the FBI, Abedin was shown an email exchange between Clinton and Obama, but the longtime Clinton aide did not recognize the name of the sender.
Hillary Clinton’s campaign has released a new television advert that asks one simple question of voters: Would you want Donald Trump as president for your daughters. It features a reel of Mr Trump’s most provocative statements about women. In 30 seconds of footage he uses the words “fat” and “slob” and describes one who “ate like a pig”. (Snip) Ms Clinton, who is running to become the first female president, has frequently warned voters that Mr Trump was ill-equipped to handle issues that mattered to women. The ad features his own words to make the point again.
Donald Trump committed perjury. Or he looked into the faces of the Republican faithful and knowingly lied. There is no third option. It has become an accepted reality of this presidential campaign that Trump spins a near-endless series of falsehoods. For months, the media has struggled with this unprecedented situation—a candidate who, unlike other politicians who stretch the truth, simply creates his own reality. Trumps regularly peddles “facts” that aren’t true, describes events that never happened or denies engaging in actions that everyone saw him do. He utters his falsehoods so fast that before reporters have the chance to correct
Actor Isaiah Washington is calling on African-Americans to protest the recent killings of black men by police in a very different way. Washington took to Facebook on Tuesday to suggest that African-Americans across the United States boycott showing up for work on Monday to show that black lives matter in the wake of recent police brutality. "Imagine if every single African American in the United States that was really fed up with being angry, sad and disgusted, would pick ONE DAY to simply ´stay at home´ from every single job, work site, sports arena and government office in the United
The Clinton Campaign is putting Mark Cuban a seat in the front row seat to troll Donald Trump during the presidential debate on Monday. (Photo) They are that desperate. Mark Cuban tweeted about it today. Just got a front row seat to watch @HillaryClinton overwhelm @realDonaldTrump at the "Humbling at Hofstra" on Monday. It Is On ! — Mark Cuban (@mcuban) September 23, 2016 -The Politico reported: When Donald Trump looks out at the crowd during his upcoming presidential debate with Hillary Clinton, Mark Cuban plans to make sure he sees at least one unfriendly face. The bombastic billionaire who’s
When I was 16, a Texas police officer pulled me over and said "it´s people like you that are ruining this country. Go back to your country." People who speed, I thought? Girls who are late for figure skating practice? I wasn´t sure what he meant. What country was I supposed to go to? I was born and raised in Austin. Then, it dawned on me. It was a month after 9/11, and he meant Muslims. Islamophobia is widespread. In the 15 years that have followed the Sept. 11 attacks, many Muslim or Middle Eastern Americans have been repeatedly exposed
A majority of voters say Donald Trump would allow the U.S. to default on its debt and that he would misuse the power of the presidency to punish his political opponents. And nearly half of voters — 46 percent — say the GOP nominee would use a nuclear weapon to attack ISIS or another foreign enemy. Those are the findings of a new poll conducted by SurveyMonkey on behalf of the Lincoln Leadership Initiative, a new group helmed by prominent Republican critics of the New York billionaire who are advocating for the Republican Party to dump Trump and return to its “foundational
In 2014 Conan O´Brien did a spoof of Hillary Clinton´s interview with Diane Sawyer about her lack of lingering health issues following her 2012 concussion. In an obviously photoshopped version Clinton´s eyes are made to oscillate crazily. It was a very funny piece. Now, it may not seem so funny. Hillary Clinton exhibited abnormal eye movements during her recent speech in Philadelphia and they were not photoshopped. Her eyes did not always move in the same direction at the same time. It appears that she has a problem with her left sixth cranial nerve. That nerve serves only one function
Bruce Springsteen has described Donald Trump as an embarrassment to the United States, saying the Republican presidential candidate is a demagogue with simple solutions. Springsteen, who has dramatised the plight of working-class Americans in his music, said he understands how Trump could seem "compelling" to people who are economically insecure. (Snip) "I don´t think he´s going to win, but even him running is a great embarrassment if you´re an American," he said. Trump knows how to tell voters "some of the things they want to hear," he added, including to people "uncomfortable with the browning of America."
When Dr. Lisa Bardack was asked to become Hillary Clinton’s personal physician in 2001, it had to have been a crowning moment in the career of the Mt. Kisco internist. Dr. Bardack could have anticipated little downside. She already had the responsibility -- and legal obligation under HIPAA -- to protect the privacy of her patient. She and her staff would have to be especially scrupulous in the case of a senator with presidential ambitions, but this should not have posed a serious problem. Unfortunately, Hillary Clinton corrupts everyone who serves her. And this year Bardack encountered difficulties she could not
Donald Trump on Saturday threatened to bring a woman that Bill Clinton had an extramarital affair when he debates Hillary Clinton. “If dopey Mark Cuban of failed Benefactor fame wants to sit in the front row, perhaps I will put Jennifer Flowers right alongside of him!” Trump tweeted Saturday. Bill Clinton testified under oath in 1998 that he had a sexual affair with Gennifer Flowers. Trump was responding to billionaire Mark Cuban, a Hillary Clinton supporter who frequently slams Trump. Cuban on Thrursday said he accepted an invitation from Clinton to sit in the front row at Monday’s presidential debate.
