Madonna felt ´like someone died´ after Donald Trump´s shocking presidential victory - and now feels betrayed by women who voted for him. The pop star bashed the president-elect in an interview with Billboard published Monday. She spoke to the magazine ahead of an auction and show she held in Miami over the weekend, during which she further slammed Trump on stage. Madonna, who had promised sexual favors to those who would vote for Hillary Clinton, said she wanted to ´rain on Trump´s parade´ and supports women who plan to march in Washington, DC the day after his inauguration in January.

Obama-endorsing Oprah Winfrey will interview First Lady Michelle Obama for the last time inside the White House in a new primetime special for CBS, the network announced Monday. First Lady Michelle Obama Says Farewell to the White House – An Oprah Winfrey Special will air Monday, December 19 at 8 pm Eastern time. The taped special will include the usual smoochy softball topics: Mrs. Obama’s eight years as First Lady, her plans for the future, and her hopes for the Obama legacy. It probably wouldn´t be any stronger an interview if CBS put its in-house Obama fan/Oprah pal Gayle King to

White House press secretary Josh Earnest encouraged President-elect Trump on Monday to take advantage of the "expertise and advice" of career diplomats at the State Department as the controversy surrounding the incoming president´s recent call to Taiwan continues to boil over. "Whenever you are talking about the president-elect interacting with foreign leaders, it´s incredibly important. It has profound consequences for our country and for our national interests around the world," Earnest said in response to a reporter´s question about whether Trump is "winging" his discussions with foreign leaders. "Last week, we had some conversations about a conversation the president-elect had

WASHINGTON— The Latest on President-elect Donald Trump (all times EST): 10 a.m. House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi is calling the decision to tap Ben Carson as head of Housing and Urban Development a “disconcerting and disturbingly unqualified choice.” Pelosi says the country deserves someone with “relevant experience” to protect the rights of homeowners and renters. NBC News anchor Chuck Todd accused Vice President-elect Mike Pence and others involved with the incoming administration of using Americans´ distrust in the media "as a crutch" whenever they encounter tough questions. Todd´s charge came during a fiery exchange on Sunday about President-elect Trump´s recent deal with Carrier, during which he asked Pence if giving tax incentives to the air-conditioning company to prevent 1,100 jobs from being moved to Mexico constituted government intervention "in the private sector." "No, no. What happened here —" Pence began to respond. "Why is this is not government intervening in the private sector?" Todd asked

DALLAS — I am a Republican presidential elector, one of the 538 people asked to choose officially the president of the United States. Since the election, people have asked me to change my vote based on policy disagreements with Donald J. Trump. In some cases, they cite the popular vote difference. I do not think president-elects should be disqualified for policy disagreements. I do not think they should be disqualified because they won the Electoral College instead of the popular vote. However, now I am asked to cast a vote on Dec. 19 for someone who shows daily he is

Minnesota Rep. Keith Ellison, widely considered a frontrunner to be the next Democratic National Committee chair, says House Democrats will do nothing but “vote no” in the coming years under the new Trump administration. Ellison, who has faced questions over whether he can juggle both working in Congress and rebuilding a depleted Democratic Party, defended himself at a party meeting on Friday by suggesting that working as a Democratic congressman won’t require much effort. “I’m in the process of deciding this issue of whether I can perform both roles,” Ellison said, according to the New York Times. Notre Dame University may not extend an invitation to President-elect Donald Trump to this year’s graduation, a move that would break with a decades-long tradition of inviting presidents in their first year to deliver the main commencement address at the South Bend campus. University President John Jenkins said the 2009 commencement featuring President Obama was a “political circus” that he is loath to repeat at this year’s ceremony. “I do think the elected leader of the nation should be listened to. And it would be good to have that person on the campus — whoever they are, whatever their views,”
