House Speaker Rep. John Boehner (R-OH) 35% had been planning to call up on the House floor last week a measure from Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) 96% that would have removed him as Speaker of the House if it succeeded—intending to embarrass Meadows—but abandoned the plan after his entire leadership structure learned that they did not have the votes to re-elect him as Speaker before the August recess. “[House Majority Leader Kevin] McCarthy was making phone calls—he was whipping it—and so was [House Majority Whip] Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) 74% ,” a senior conservative movement leader who’s had many personal and direct discussions with various House GOP

Love him or hate him, no one has been able to figure out Donald Trump. No one, that is, except Norma Foerderer. For 26 years, Foerderer was Mr. Trump’s top aide, becoming his vice president. During her career with him, Foerderer oversaw almost every aspect of the presidential candidate’s business, including public relations, hiring and firing, and negotiating book deals and contracts. (Snip) Foerderer said there are two Donald Trumps: the “outrageous” one that utters brash comments on television and the real one that only she and other insiders know. “I mean Donald can be totally outrageous, but outrageous in a wonderful

GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump said Republicans have not given him a warm welcome since he entered their 2016 nominating process. Trump argued he is on the defensive against GOP White House hopefuls during a Sunday interview on ABC´s "This Week." “I’m not looking to attack them,” Trump said of the rest of the Republican field. “I didn’t start the attacks,” he said. “But I have been attacked and I counter punch.” “I mean, they attacked me first and I hit them back and maybe even harder than they hit me,” Trump added. “But the fact is that I’ve been attacked pretty viciously by some

Just in case you may have missed it, one of the most gruesome and poignantly repulsive stories as of lately has to be Planned Parenthood’s federally subsidized marketing of aborted fetuses—our tax dollars being used at their best, right? What is America coming to? As reported by LifeNews, the first in a series of undercover video footage, shows Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s Senior Director of Medical Services, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, describing how Planned Parenthood sells the body parts of aborted unborn children and admitting she uses partial-birth abortions to supply intact body parts. In yet a second video, Planned Parenthood’s doctor

Videos released last month revealed the Planned Parenthood aborted baby organ harvesting industry. Democrats today blocked a bill to defund the Planned Parenthood baby organ harvesting industry today. The Senate voted 53-46 on the cluture motion failing to get the 60 needed to move the bill forward. Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell led the effort to keep Planned Parenthood funding by blocking an amendment to the Highway Bill by Mike Lee to defund the abortion harvesting group. The move by McConnell made it necessary for conservatives to get 60 votes today for their bill. They could only muster 53 votes.

With U.S. intelligence officials scrambling to contain damage from potentially hundreds of spy agency secrets in Hillary Rodham Clinton’s private emails, questions are mounting over why the Justice Department has not yet opened a criminal investigation against the Democratic presidential front-runner for mishandling a mountain of classified information. While some secrecy experts believe Mrs. Clinton will be able to build a strong case that material on her server was not classified at the time it was moving through her emails, others assert that what the former secretary of state did was far more egregious than the mishandling of information that

WASHINGTON -- Aiming to jolt the rest of the world to action, President Barack Obama moved ahead Sunday with even tougher greenhouse gas cuts on American power plants, setting up a certain confrontation in the courts with energy producers and Republican-led states. In finalizing the unprecedented pollution controls, Obama was installing the core of his ambitious and controversial plan to drastically reduce overall U.S. emissions, as he works to secure a legacy on fighting global warming. Yet it will be up to Obama´s successor to implement his plan, which has faced steep Republican opposition from Capitol Hill to the 2016 campaign

WASHINGTON Republicans like Jeb Bush. And a lot really don’t like Donald Trump. In fact, more than half find Trump a distraction from the primary process, not a serious candidate. With the first Republican presidential debate coming up Thursday, a new McClatchy-Marist poll finds that a majority of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents personally like Bush, saying they view him favorably rather than unfavorably. Large numbers also like Marco Rubio and Mike Huckabee, far more than dislike them. But nearly half dislike Trump, suggesting that the billionaire businessman who leads national Republican polls will have a hard time reaching those personally hostile voters and growing

WASHINGTON — Joe Biden is leaning strongly toward a 2016 presidential bid, a source close to the vice president tells the Herald — news that is spurring excitement among top Democrats in Massachusetts and early voting states who are worried about front-runner Hillary Clinton’s hefty political baggage and sagging poll numbers. An adviser close to Biden, who is familiar with the vice president’s exploration process, told the Herald that Biden will “more likely than not” jump into the 2016 race. A request for comment from Biden’s White House office was not returned yesterday. The news of Biden’s renewed campaign activity over the

Fourteen Republicans running for President did their best to nail the job interview during the “Voters First Forum” Monday night. Each cast themselves as the most qualified candidate to grow the economy, protect the nation and fulfill the promise of America. The candidates took turns answering questions about pressing domestic and foreign policy issues. They criticized the Iran nuclear deal, funding for Planned Parenthood, and the Affordable Care Act. “Obamacare has been a manifest disaster,” Texas Sen. Ted Cruz said. Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, former Texas Gov. Rick Perry, and former New York Gov. George Pataki and were among

Jimmy Kimmel choked up speaking of the brutal death of Cecil the beloved Zimbabwe lion, shot by an American dentist. Mia Farrow was so enraged she tweeted the dentist´s home address and now that man is in hiding for his life and closed his dental practice. Why is there more outrage over Cecil´s death than the Planned Parenthood´s sale of aborted fetal organs? The answer is that only the dentist is guilty of Cecil´s death. PP, however, exists because we turn a blind eye to what abortion really is and that collective guilt is why this scandal must be muted.

If you’re looking for someone who will admit what the left thinks, but usually doesn’t say, John Kerry might be your new best friend. Last week, we saw him testify that his nuclear deal with Iran would most likely lead to the deaths of American citizens. It was a disgusting, and probably treasonous, moment. It was also just the beginning of Kerry’s revelations. According to everyone’s favorite Secretary of State, the Iran deal isn’t being presented as a treaty because the administration is well aware that no sane person would ratify it. As radio host Jerry Bader wrote for Right Wisconsin, Kerry admitted as much while being questioned
