Lucianne Goldberg, one of the pivotal figures in the Monica Lewinsky affair that rocked Bill Clinton’s second term in office, is marveling at how the defining scandal of the late 1990s is now being resurrected as a result of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential bid. “This is fun. I mean, everything old is new again,” Goldberg said in a recorded radio interview set to air Sunday night on “Aaron Klein Investigative Radio.” “It’s amazing,” Goldberg said. “Because if you had listed the stars, if you want to call them that, from those days, they’re back again!“I chatted with you on this

WASHINGTON — President Obama on Sunday called Hillary Rodham Clinton’s use of a private email server “a mistake,” but said it had not endangered national security and had been “ginned-up” into a political attack by Republicans eager to keep her from being president. Mr. Obama made the comments during an interview on CBS’s “60 Minutes” program in which he also defended his policy in Syria during a lengthy, contentious exchange with Steve Kroft, a veteran correspondent. Mrs. Clinton’s use of the email server during her tenure as secretary of state has become the centerpiece of Republican-led investigations into the 2012 attacks in

Several Republicans who aren’t as closely associated with outgoing House Speaker Rep. John Boehner (R-OH) 37% as House Ways and Means Committee chairman Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) 58% are considering running for Speaker as Ryan’s nascent campaign is crumbling before it even begins. The two who have, at this time, the most likely ability to unite the GOP conference and achieve well more than the necessary 218 votes on the House floor are House Energy and Commerce Committee vice chairwoman Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) 72% and former House Chief Deputy Whip Rep. Peter Roskam (R-IL) 58 . Other Republicans like Reps. Rep.

Tuesday´s first Democratic presidential primary debate will be a low-ratings snoozefest, according to Donald Trump – because he won´t be on the stage in Las Vegas. ´I think people are going to turn it on for a couple of minutes and then fall asleep,´ The Donald said Monday morning on ´Fox and Friends.´ The debate will air on CNN and feature Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton at center-stage. ´I don´t want to say this in a braggadocious way, but a person at CNN and a couple of other people said, "We have to put Donald Trump in this debate. We´re going to

President Obama indicates that when it comes to world leadership, he has mostly disdain for people who compare him to Russian President Vladimir Putin. When challenged by “60 Minutes” interviewer Steve Kroft about ceding leadership in the Middle East to Putin, Obama argued that leadership on climate change was more important than leadership to combat terrorism. “My definition of leadership would be leading on climate change, an international accord that potentially we’ll get in Paris,” Obama said. “My definition of leadership is mobilizing the entire world community to make sure that Iran doesn’t get a nuclear weapon.” Obama is also

During the October 11 airing of Face the Nation, host John Dickerson went after Ben Carson for contending that the Jewish people would have suffered less under Nazism had they been armed. And instead of examining the substance of Carson’s observation, Dickerson tried to intimate that Carson was suggesting we are under a Nazi-like regime now. But Carson would not relent. Rather, he doubled down and reminded Dickerson that our Founding Fathers’ purpose in adding the Second Amendment was to keep the citizenry armed and the government constrained. (Video) Breitbart News previously reported on Carson’s October 8th contention that the

Former president Bill Clinton’s been sitting on his hands for months, watching his wife Hillary get bruised and battered in the polls. But in a sudden reversal, the Clinton campaign has decided to unleash the “Bubba.” Ten days ago, he appeared in Chicago to start a major fundraising swing. He’s also appearing on talk shows, and taking swipes at the GOP – and of course, the media, too But can he really “save” Hillary? Few politicians today have the ability to reverse a candidate’s sagging fortunes like “Bubba” does. Remember Obama in 2012? En route to re-election, the president stumbled

Earlier this week Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump told Fox News that he totally supports the Supreme Court´s shameful 2005 eminent domain decision in Kelo v. City of New London. "I think eminent domain is wonderful," Trump declared. It was not a particularly surprising comment. After all, as I noted here yesterday, Trump has a long record of seeking to personally profit from eminent domain abuse. One such incident occurred in 1994 when Trump joined forces with government officials in New Jersey in a legally unsuccessful attempt to kick an elderly widow out of her Atlantic City home in order to

In a proclamation marking Columbus Day issued by the White House on Friday, President Barack Obama said that while the federal holiday recognizes the accomplishments of Italian explorer Christopher Columbus and his discovery of the New World, it is marred by mistreatment of indigenous people. “Though these early travels expanded the realm of European exploration, to many they also marked a time that forever changed the world for the indigenous peoples of North America,” Obama wrote. “Previously unseen disease, devastation, and violence were introduced to their lives -- and as we pay tribute to the ways in which Columbus pursued

Does Hillary Clinton sweat? Reporters who have watched the Democratic presidential frontrunner this campaign season have noticed that she, quite literally, does not sweat as she is addressing crowds either outdoors or on a hot stage. BuzzFeed posed the question to Clinton, who initially tried to laugh it off but then got serious about why she doesn’t seem to perspire. Basically, she said, she has been doing this for so long that she’s used to it.

Los Angeles - President Barack Obama said the Republican Party has "gone off the deep end" with its messy failure to elect a new speaker of the House of Representatives. The Republican-controlled House was left in shock and disarray this week when Kevin McCarthy, the frontrunner to replace John Boehner, who has announced his resignation, suddenly withdrew from the race because of a revolt by conservatives. The challenge now is to find a consensus candidate who can soothe wounds and unite a fractious caucus. Obama addressed the drama at an expensive fundraiser at a private home in Los Angeles. He was there after

A uniformed Kansas City, Mo., cop hoping to celebrate his birthday with lunch at Olive Garden on Sunday was kicked out because of his duty firearm. A hostess caught sight of Officer Michael Holsworth’s holstered handgun as he waited for his family and asked the decorated officer to leave the restaurant at once, he ranted in a Facebook post Sunday afternoon. “I never in my wildest thoughts would of thought this would happen in the Kansas City area. I see it happening all over the United States to other officers, but never thought it would of happened to me,” he
