Hillary Clinton suggested her campaign rival President Trump will get impeached, in sharp remarks in a commencement address Friday where she brought up ´obstruction of justice´ and warned of the steps to authoritarianism. Speaking to gowned graduates at the school where she addressed students in 1969, Clinton referenced the resignation of President Richard Nixon and a House committee´s impeachment investigation – but it was clear to graduating students what she was really talking about. ´We were furious about the past presidential election of a man whose presidency would eventually end in disgrace with his impeachment for obstruction of justice,´ the

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) told White House Budget Director Mick Mulvaney on Thursday that he won’t be voting for the president’s budget plan because of the cuts it makes to foreign aid for U.S. allies like Jordan that could jeopardize the war on terror. “For eight years, President Obama presented a budget, which was a proposal, and got zero votes in the United States Senate or the United States House. It’s fair to say we’re going to continue that trend,” Graham said, laughing. “You might get one, but it won’t be mine, and let me tell you why.” First, Graham

In her Wellesley College commencement address Friday, the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee took repeated shots at President Trump, the man who beat her in November. "Look at the budget that was just proposed in Washington," Clinton said. "It is an attack of unimaginable cruelty on the most vulnerable among us, the youngest, the oldest, the poorest, and hardworking people who need a little help to gain or hang on to a decent middle-class life… And to top it off, it is shrouded in a trillion-dollar mathematical lie." But Clinton is doing more than just talking about Trump as a once

On Thursday, House Minority Leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) questioned President Donald Trump’s failure to visit countries in alphabetical order. Asked at a press conference to comment on Trump’s trip abroad, Pelosi expressed concern that Trump didn’t start with Canada (with the letter “C”) like previous presidents: “I thought it was unusual for the President of the United States to go to Saudi Arabia first. Saudi Arabia?” Pelosi said. “It wasn’t even alphabetical. I mean, Saudi Arabia.” “Now, notice the previous five presidents….four of them went to Canada first. And, one of them went to Mexico; George W. Bush went

Guilt by association. That’s what Andrea Mitchell believes. Despite the fact that Donald Trump is on another continent, the Andrea Mitchell Reports anchor thinks that the assault against a journalist by a Montana congressional candidate is an “extension” of the President. Talking about Greg Gianforte’s attack on Guardian reporter Ben Jacobs, the MSNBC host connected, “There is so much hostility, frankly, to the press, a lot of it generated by the Donald Trump rallies.” Mitchell declared, “And a lot of my colleagues faced the blowback from that. So, this is kind of an extension of that.” MSNBC has pretty much

Former House Speaker John Boehner said he thinks the vast majority of Donald Trump’s presidency has been a “complete disaster” during a recent energy conference in Houston, Texas. Boehner, who resigned from his Ohio House seat in October 2015, applauded Trump’s approach to foreign policy — praising his decision to take a strong stand against the Islamic State — but was highly critical of the progress he has made in other areas thus far. “Everything else he’s done [in office] has been a complete disaster,” he said Wednesday, according to energy publication Rigzone. “He’s still learning how to be president.” Boehner and Trump

Republican Greg Gianforte won Thursday’s special election for the U.S. House in Montana, defeating Democratic challenger Rob Quist despite being charged with misdemeanor assault the day before. Gianforte will now take over former Navy SEAL Ryan Zinke’s House seat. Zinke vacated the seat when he accepted the post of Secretary of the Interior in President Donald Trump’s Cabinet. The election results — with Gianforte winning over 50% of the vote and leading by a seven-point margin — were a major blow to Democrats’ anti-Trump efforts, and to the media’s expectations, after Gianforte had allegedly “body-slammed” a reporter before his final

THE BIG IDEA: Greg Gianforte admitted to attacking a reporter and apologized during his victory speech last night, as he kept Montana’s sole House seat in Republican hands. Now he and his party’s leaders are trying to move on. On the eve of the special election, the wealthy technology entrepreneur flipped out when the Guardian’s Ben Jacobs asked him about the CBO’s score of the health care bill. He now faces misdemeanor assault charges for reportedly throwing Jacobs to the ground and breaking his glasses. “I made a mistake,” the congressman-elect said at his party in Bozeman. “Not in our minds!” yelled

It is the final day of Donald and Melania Trump´s first official tour as President and First Lady, and it looks like 47-year-old Melania is eager to go out with a sartorial bang. After having made a chic arrival in Sicily, where her husband is attending a G7 summit, Melania stepped out Friday morning in the coastal down of Catania, making a very stylish statement in a $51,500 coat by Dolce & Gabanna, which was covered with colorful 3-D flower embellishments - and came complete with a matching $1,630 purse by the Italian luxury label. WASHINGTON — Shortly after President Trump took office, Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, the majority leader, met privately with his colleagues to discuss the Republican agenda. Repealing the Affordable Care Act was at the top, he said. But replacing it would be really hard. Mr. McConnell was right. The many meetings Republicans held to discuss a Senate health care bill have exposed deep fissures within the party that are almost as large as the differences between Republicans and Democrats. Elements of a bill that passed the House this month have divided Republicans. Mr. McConnell faces an increasingly onerous math problem.

Bozeman, Montana - Republican Greg Gianforte has won the special election for Montana´s open US House seat, CNN projects, defeating Democrat Rob Quist and capping off a whirlwind final 36 hours of the campaign that saw Gianforte being charged for allegedly assaulting a reporter. With 83% of precincts reporting, Gianforte had 171,149 votes -- or 50.3% of the vote, compared to Quist who has 149,138 votes, 43.9% of the vote, according to Edison Research. Gianforte was considered the favorite heading into Thursday´s election to fill the seat once held by Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke, but that was before he allegedly "body-slammed" a

How Team Obama tried

New revelations have surfaced that the Obama administration abused intelligence during the election by launching a massive domestic-spy campaign that included snooping on Trump officials. The irony is mind-boggling: Targeting political opposition is long a technique of police states like Russia, which Team Obama has loudly condemned for allegedly using its own intelligence agencies to hack into our election. The revelations, as well as testimony this week from former Obama intel officials, show the extent to which the Obama administration politicized and weaponized intelligence against Americans. Thanks to Circa News, we now know the National Security Agency under President Barack Obama routinely violated
