Trump’s alt-right trolls have subjected me and my family to an unending torrent of abuse that I wouldn’t wish on anyone. I distinctly remember the first time I saw a picture of my then-seven-year-old daughter’s face in a gas chamber. It was the evening of September 17, 2015. I had just posted a short item to the Corner calling out notorious Trump ally Ann Coulter for aping the white-nationalist language and rhetoric of the so-called alt-right. Within minutes, the tweets came flooding in. My youngest daughter is African American, adopted from Ethiopia, and in alt-right circles that’s an unforgivable sin.

Hillary Clinton punched back at Donald Trump tonight for threatening to ´jail´ her. The Republican has said he´ll appoint a special prosecutor to look into her emails if he wins and cautioned Clinton at a debate that she´d ´be in jail´ if he were in the White House now. ´Every time Donald Trump says he wants to jail his opponent, meaning me, I think to myself, you know we don´t do that in America,´ Clinton said Saturday. ´We actually have laws and courts and an independent judiciary.´ Clinton sent out an SOS to voters thinking of casting a ballot for

Colin Kaepernick wrapped up his second start this season for the San Francisco 49ers, and decided to go with another statement t-shirt at his post-game press conference. Kaepernick sported a Black Panther Party t-shirt. I’ve got a screenshot of his press conference below, and you can view a slightly better shot from Cam Inman below that. Kaepernick’s National Anthem protest continues, with Eric Reid and Eli Harold regularly joining him on one knee. The discussion of it has quieted down to some extent, but he continues getting a chance to discuss social issues after games and during mid-week availability. There

Broad disapproval of Trump has pushed Clinton into a wide lead Hillary Clinton has jumped into a double-digit lead against rival Donald Trump, pushed largely by disapproval of the Republican candidate, according to ABC News’s inaugural 2016 election tracking poll. The Democratic nominee now leads Trump by 12 percentage points among likely voters. Trump’s treatment of women and his refusal to say whether he will accept the results of the election have pushed likely voters away, the poll finds. Likely voters by 69-24 percent said they disapprove of Trump’s response to questions about his treatment of women, following allegations of sexual misconduct by women

Donald Trump believes he has lost the presidential election. That´s the only reasonable explanation for the Republican nominee´s decision on Saturday in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, to reiterate his claim that the more than 10 women who have accused Trump of past acts of sexual assault are liars. Trump also said he would sue them. "Every woman lied when they came forward to hurt my campaign," Trump said at the beginning of his speech near the site of the consequential Civil War battle. "Total fabrication. The events never happened. Never. All of these liars will be sued after the election is over."

As the election nears, the media hype designed to affect the results, demoralize and demonize Trump and his supporters, and confirm the bias of its elite coastal consumers continues. Saturday’s opinion-posing-as-news lead in the Washington Post says the end is near for Trump -- the polls have him down everywhere and he was booed for crass attacks at the Al Smith dinner in New York. What do you expect from media whose reporters are literally in bed with the administration? Not only are reporters feeding debate questions to the Clinton campaign, we have a video of one of them, Andrea

STOCKHOLM, Sweden — A member of the Swedish Academy that awarded the 2016 Nobel Prize in literature to Bob Dylan says the U.S. singer-songwriter´s silence since receiving the honor is "impolite and arrogant." Per Wastberg said Dylan´s lack of reaction was predictable but disrespectful nonetheless. He was quoted telling the Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter in Saturday´s edition: "One can say that it is impolite and arrogant. He is who he is." Wastberg said the academy still hopes to communicate with the 75-year-old artist, whose award credits him with creating "new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition." The academy

They called each other “darling,” “dear one” and “heart.” They told each other “je t’aime” and “j’adore,” and wrote more than 3,000 letters to one another. “All day I’ve thought of you . . . Oh! I want to put my arms around you, I ache to hold you close,” the normally reserved Eleanor Roosevelt wrote in March of 1933 to her beloved. No, not her husband, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, but a brilliant, bourbon-drinking, cigarette-smoking Associated Press reporter named Lorena Hickok, or Hick. For someone who claims that this entire presidential cycle is completely rigged against him, Donald Trump is maintaining a very strong campaign schedule – and even expanding it in these closing days. Why bother to do three large rallies with three detailed speeches in three separate states on the same day – as Trump just did in crucial Pennsylvania, Virginia and Ohio – if election results are a foregone conclusion? That’s a very strenuous day, even for a candidate who isn’t 70 years old like Trump. The truth, of course, is this 45th quadrennial selection of a commander-in-chief

The mainstream media may be in bed with Hillary Clinton’s campaign — but they go to strip clubs with Donald Trump’s. Page Six has exclusively learned that a trio of senior Trump advisers was fixated on a different type of “pole” the night before Trump’s final debate (Snip) Sources said that Trump campaign senior communications adviser Jason Miller — along with female colleagues including senior adviser and surrogate A.J. Delgado and deputy communications director Jessica Ditto — went with several members of the media from networks, including CNN, NBC and ABC, to Sapphire Las Vegas Strip Club before

Earlier this morning we wrote about the obvious sampling bias in the latest ABC / Washington Post poll that showed a 12-point national advantage for Hillary. Like many of the recent polls from Reuters, ABC and The Washington Post, this latest poll included a 9-point sampling bias toward registered democrats.

On 29 November 2010, then US secretary of state Hillary Clinton stepped out in front of reporters to condemn the release of classified documents by WikiLeaks and five major news organisations the previous day. WikiLeaks’ release, she said, “puts people’s lives in danger”, “threatens our national security”, and “undermines our efforts to work with other countries”. “Releasing them poses real risks to real people,” she noted, adding, “We are taking aggressive steps to hold responsible those who stole this information.” Julian Assange watched that message on a television in the corner of a living room in Ellingham Hall, a stately home in rural
