White House Senior Advisor Valerie Jarrett was one of the mobilizing forces behind the decision to light up the White House with the colors of the gay pride movement to celebrate the Supreme Court ruling on same-sex marriage. According to the Washington Post, Jarrett worked with gay rights organizations to pay for the display to avoid using taxpayer money. The idea came from one of Jarrett’s aides who was also the LGBT liaison in the White House. When Jarrett approached President Obama with the idea, he responded, “It’s a great idea if you can get it to work,” she told the Post. The

Are key Republican leaders in D.C. from the Senate, House and Supreme Court being blackmailed? Tell me you haven’t thought the exact same thing? Something is very wrong. Something smells rotten in DC. Rotten like a dead fish left at the front door of a Congressmen’s office by the Obama Crime Family. Rotten like a photo of a Supreme Court Justice with his robe down at his ankles. Because what’s happening just isn’t normal. Please tell me how it’s possible that President Obama and his socialist cabal suffered the most massive and historic defeat in modern political history only 9 months

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz writes in his new book that conservative voters would be “astonished” if they knew what Republican senators were really doing and saying in private meetings on Capitol Hill. “During my time in the Senate, I’ve been amazed how many senators pose one way in public—as fiscal conservatives or staunch Tea Party supporters, for example—and then in private do little or nothing to advance those principles,” Cruz writes in his new book, “A Time For Truth.” “Indeed, if transcripts of our Senate lunches were released to the public, I think many voters would be astonished,” the Republican presidential candidate

Under pressure from Hispanic groups, NBC severed all ties with Republican presidential contender Donald Trump on Monday, and according to a report, the network is specifically eyeing minority candidates to replace him on Celebrity Apprentice. In addition to announcing it would be dumping the July 12 Miss USA pageant, NBC announced Trump would not be returning to Apprentice. “At NBC, respect and dignity for all people are cornerstones of our values,” the network said Monday. “Due to the recent derogatory statements by Donald Trump regarding immigrants, NBCUniversal is ending its business relationship with Mr. Trump.” TMZ is reporting as an

Coeur d‘Alene, Idaho, city officials have laid down the law to Christian pastors within their community, telling them bluntly via an ordinance that if they refuse to marry homosexuals, they will face jail time and fines. The dictate comes on the heels of a legal battle with Donald and Evelyn Knapp, ordained ministers who own the Hitching Post wedding chapel in the city, but who oppose gay marriage, The Daily Caller reported. A federal judge recently ruled that the state’s ban on gay marriage was unconstitutional, while the city of Coeur d‘Alene has an ordinance that prevents discrimination based on sexual preference. Dr. Ben Carson has caused a major upset by coming in a confident first in the Western Conservative Summit’s straw poll in Denver, Colorado this weekend. Carson, who boomed about his anti-political credentials in his main stage speech last night, took 26 percent of the 871 votes cast, while Carly Fiorina, who also had clear support amongst conference delegates, took 23 percent. But the biggest blow of the weekend was for Rick Santorum, who landed on just two percent of the vote despite some noteworthy support from the audience during his speech. (Snip) There was clearly a more organised Carson and Fiorina presence

When the University of Missouri at Kansas City was looking for a celebrity speaker to headline its gala luncheon marking the opening of a women’s hall of fame, one name came to mind: Hillary Rodham Clinton. But when the former secretary of state’s representatives quoted a fee of $275,000, officials at the public university balked. “Yikes!” one e-mailed another. So the school turned to the next best option: her daughter, Chelsea. The university paid $65,000 for Chelsea Clinton’s brief appearance Feb. 24, 2014, a demonstration of the celebrity appeal and marketability that the former and possibly second-time first daughter employs on behalf of

The P5+1 countries led by the United States under Barack Obama have caved in to Iranian demands and will not insist on inspections of nuclear installations as part of a deal on Iran;s nuclear weapons program, Channel 1 reported Sunday. The channel´s Arab affairs correspondent reported that the June 30 – Tuesday night – deadline for the talks has been set back to an unspecified date but that the negotiations are good natured and the feeling is that the deal is nearly done. In response to the chorus of critics who attacked her after she announced she was pregnant, Bristol Palin posted a follow up blog post titled “My Little Blessing,” affirming her strong pro-life beliefs and clarifying some of the misrepresentations being made about her. Perhaps what is the most shocking is Palin’s statement that, despite what many assumed, this pregnancy was not unplanned. Palin made headlines back in 2008 when she became pregnant as a teenager while her mother, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, was running for Vice President. When she announced this second pregnancy just a few short weeks after

Some people actually believe that the majority rule. Nope. Not in America. Not anymore. The Census shows that at present, the United States is 77.7% white and that figure includes white Hispanics. Without them, it´s approximately 62%. All Hispanics number 17% and blacks around 13%. Although many Americans polled believe that the gay community is around 20%, the actual number is 1.6 % and yet the LGBT community wields enormous influence over our culture and has succeeded in tearing down traditional mores of the nation and the world. Why? The answer is that this demographic is extremely wealthy and has influence

Jeb Bush on Monday became the first presidential candidate to campaign in South Carolina since a deadly church shooting and was immediately drawn into a key subject of statewide debate: whether South Carolina should remove the Confederate flag from the grounds of its state capitol. Bush had already issued a statement in support of legislation to remove the flag but had not discussed the issue openly in public. After a 30-minute tour of a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant here, Bush walked into a room packed with nearly 200 workers. The younger, diverse, mostly blue-collar crowd was not the kind that Republican candidates usually

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina told Chuck Todd on NBC´s "Meet the Press" that if the Republican party doesn´t change its official position on same-sex marriage it will "hurt" the GOP in 2016. In 2012, the Republican platform read, "We reaffirm our support for a Constitutional amendment defining marriage as the union of one man and one woman." Echoing former Gov. Jeb Bush of Florida, Graham argued that Republicans should abandon that official 2012 position. Graham continued, "What I want to do is protect the religious liberties of those who believe that opposing same sex marriage as part of
