The duplicitous Angela Merkel
American Thinker, by Richard Jack Rail

Original Article

Posted By:magnante, 3/20/2019 4:44:37 AM

Angela Merkel apparently went behind NATO´s back to make a deal with Russia for the natural gas pipeline Nord Stream II, paying for which will drive Germany´s contribution to NATO defense spending below the 2% of GDP that was agreed on in 2014. Germany, with one of the world´s wealthiest economies, is far in arrears on her NATO obligations, has been for years, and has no acceptable excuse for it. America has been open for years now to selling liquid natural gas (LNG) to Europe at rates below those the Russians can provide

NATO should be closed down. I hope everyone follows Merkel out the door. The reason for NATO ended when the Warsaw Pact ended but the US wasn´t going to give up a global structure to permanently enslave US taxpayers. Look at pictures of NATO´s opulent new $1.2 billion HQ dedicated in 2017 in Brussels. In the 1990s Bill Clinton could´ve ended NATO, but instead added more countries-even though newly independent Russia and drunken Yeltsin were a threat to no one, were controlled by the US, and allowed Clinton, Soros and cronies to plunder the country and drive Russian people into mass starvation.

To add to #1, it seems Germany´s leadership has been determined to resurrect the Germany-USSR Non-aggression pact since the end of the Cold War. Once Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder left office in the 90s, he signed on with Russia´s Gazprom. Then Clinton and his cronies became modern day carpetbaggers in Russia thereby enriching the nomenklatura and forever ruining the USA´s reputation with the Russian people. Now, despite offers of US natural gas, Merkel of the former DDR decides to turn East again, this time with outstretched hand instead with panzers. If I had to make a guess, I´d say both countries are peeved the US beat them in a world war and in the Cold War, and want to buddy up for revenge. Fine, just leave them to stew in their own rotten juices.

the witch is an East German communist, and she is beholden to Russia.

How hard is that to figure out? East Germans were infiltrators into the West German system, and the foolish West Germans trusted them as Germans, forgetting that they were, deep down, Communists and Russophiles first and foremost.

NBC News reported Thursday that “several Democratic presidential candidates will skip the American Israel Public Affairs Committee’s policy conference this year after a prominent progressive group called on them to boycott the event.” This has been a rapid descent. In 2017, Kamala Harris said it was “an honor” to speak before AIPAC. But as quickly as the Democrats’ Jew-hatred is being normalized now, it has also been a long time coming. I warned about it over ten years ago.

Even though we do not yet know exactly what the Mueller Report says, we do now know that no other indictments are in the works. No collusion with Russia by the Trump campaign was found. So, the self-assured and confident predictions by so many on the left that they had seen "cold, hard evidence," and that Mueller would find copious evidence of "collusion" with Russia, was just wishful thinking alone. They all had to know the infamous "dossier" was faked.

Don Blankenship, the former CEO of Massey Energy and GOP candidate for West Virginia’s U.S. Senate seat last year, filed a massive defamation lawsuit against several mainstream media outlets this past Friday. In the lawsuit, Blankenship alleges that these news organizations (among them CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, and even Breitbart) knowingly and willfully misreported him as a felon instead of a misdemeanant. Blankenship, a former CEO of Massey Energy, was acquitted on three felonies but convicted of a misdemeanor for conspiring to violate safety regulations, after a deadly 2010 mining disaster.

Under capitalism, ownership brings control, and Fox News has a new corporate parent that began trading yesterday on NASDAQ. There are reasons for conservatives to be deeply concerned. The $1.1 billion spent to repair Oroville Dam is failing as water is seeping through the rebuilt spillway threatens new mass evacuations over the risk of the dam collapsing. According to national dam expert Scott Cahill of Watershed Services of Ohio, Oroville Dam is on the same failure track as in 2017, with visible water seepage trickling from the foot of the dam and dozens of points along the dam’s principal spillway. Cahill warns that warming temperatures magnified by precipitation is a growing threat to the dam.

"Washington National Cathedral was honored to host the funeral service for Senator John McCain. All funerals and memorial services at the Cathedral are organized by the family of the deceased; only a state funeral for a former president involves consultation with government officials," a cathedral spokesperson said in a statement to The Hill on Thursday. First of all, of course everyone should wait to see the contents of the actual Mueller report before drawing any specific final conclusions about it. But here are some laws of nature in the modern age: If that report contained a fraction of the damaging material breathlessly awaited in the media culture for two years, there would be some smoke signal of it. Instead, we saw an actual finding from the Justice Department that there would be no further indictments from the probe. No indictment of Trump. No indictment of anyone associated with the campaign or the administration to support
