Obama WH counsel faces
possible prosecution in
Mueller-initiated probe

Fox News, by Gregg Re

Original Article

Former Obama White House Counsel and Clinton-linked attorney Greg Craig may soon be charged by the Justice Department for engaging in illegal unregistered overseas lobbying, in a case initially probed by Special Counsel Robert Mueller -- a development that would make him the first Democrat to face prosecution amid the long-running Russia investigation. The case centers on lobbying work that Craig performed in 2012 for the Russian-backed president of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych, while Craig was a partner at the law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. Craig allegedly never registered as a foreign agent

Comments:
Yeah. Sure. If Craig and Tony Podesta get anything other than a fine and a light slap on the wrist, well, that will be promoted as Herr Mueller´s "bipartisanship." Watch this to be swept under the rug pretty quick. No Manafort-style sentences here.

Nope. At best, they´ll send Craig and Tony Podesta a letter asking them to kindly update their records and maybe pay a $100 fine.

Mueller sends Dems to the JD for prosecution, he sends 29 agents & 19 armored vehicles to arrest a republican! Was Dems immune from Mueller’s investigation? Let’s see how many Dems are mentioned in his report?? My guess it’s Zero!

Referred to the NY US Attorney? Don´t look for anything to be charged. This state is corrupt and so is the US Attorney. Why do you think Herr Mueller picked that US Attorney to do his dirty work?

How about the other two Democrats Tony & John Podesta? They did the same thing Manafort did probably more.

Michael Cohen sued the Trump Organization in New York Supreme Court on Thursday for millions of dollars in legal fees and costs, claiming the company must pay him for “matters arising” from his work for the company -- including “multiple congressional hearings” and costs related to Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation. Cohen, who is slated to report to prison to serve three years in May, worked for the organization for more than a decade as an attorney. In his suit,

Pelosi, Dem leaders condemn Rep.

In an unprecedented rebuke under the new Congress, House Democratic leaders on Monday roundly condemned Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., for statements about supporters of Israel that were widely viewed as anti-Semitic and called on her to apologize. The statement issued by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the rest of the Democratic leadership team followed the latest in a string of controversial comments from the freshman lawmaker -- as well as pressure from Republican leaders to speak out. “Anti-Semitism must be called out, confronted and condemned whenever it is encountered, without exception," the statement said.

Florida, with its plentiful beaches, warm weather, and lack of a state income tax, is the most popular destination for older adults in the U.S. But some who have lived in the Sunshine State for years are moving in the opposite direction. As damaging storms and other effects of climate change have hit Florida particularly hard in the past few years, some older adults living there have become concerned about their safety and their ability to enjoy retirement. So they’re fleeing this otherwise balmy state. About 52,630 people ages 65 and over left Florida in 2017, versus 48,174 in

Former interim Democratic National Committee chair Donna Brazile was full of posthumous praise for the late Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) on Wednesday’s edition of Fox News’ Special Report with Bret Baier. The context was President Trump’s renewed criticism of McCain after a newly-released deposition showed how deeply McCain was involved in the fraudulent “Russia dossier” that has been used to attack the administration and divide the nation. Brazile, who Fox News recently hired as a contributor, began by criticizing the president for speaking ill of the dead. She then continued: “John McCain leaves a legacy. The San Antonio City Council banned Chick-fil-A from San Antonio International Airport over “anti-LGBTQ behavior” as part of a new concession plan for the airport. District 1 City Councilman Roberto Treviño motioned to approve the Food, Beverage and Retail Prime Concession Agreement with Paradies Lagardère for the airport Thursday on condition Chick-fil-A be excluded from the agreement. Treviño asserted Chick-fil-A has a “legacy of anti-LGBTQ behavior” and that such a business had no place in the city’s airport. The commandant of the Marines has warned the Pentagon that deployments to the southwest border and funding transfers under the president’s emergency declaration, among other unexpected demands, have posed “unacceptable risk to Marine Corps combat readiness and solvency.” In two internal memos, Marine Corps Gen. Robert Neller said the “unplanned/unbudgeted” deployment along the border that President Trump ordered last fall, and shifts of other funds to support border security, had forced him to cancel or reduce planned military training in at least five countries, and delay urgent repairs at bases.(Snip) Neller, a four-star general, said because of the

The apparent scoop du jour is that ex-VP Joe Biden is set to announce his bid with his running mate already picked out: former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams. Suggestions for his VP thus far have been a who’s-who of the current field of competition for the nomination, including Harris and O’Rourke. Abrams possibly becoming The Chosen One is somewhat surprising, because her star has only so recently begun its ascendency — but not too surprising, because of her fierce intellect, warm demeanor and popularity. Stacey Abrams exudes good sense and kindness, delivered with impeccable poise: that’s the impression most

A few months ago, Colton Haas and I traveled to the once beautiful city of San Francisco, hoping to have a question answered: What happened to San Francisco? (Video) Erica Sandberg, a community advocate and journalist, broke it down for us: "Right now the major issue — people always call it homelessness — but the major issue is drugs." While San Francisco has always battled homelessness and currently has about 7,000 homeless people, the drug issue is exacerbating the problem. The city currently hands out more than 400,000 syringes each month but only 246,000 are returned, leaving 154,000 syringes left

The Washington National Cathedral disputed President Trump´s claim that he had to "approve" the funeral of the late Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.). "Washington National Cathedral was honored to host the funeral service for Senator John McCain. All funerals and memorial services at the Cathedral are organized by the family of the deceased; only a state funeral for a former president involves consultation with government officials," a cathedral spokesperson said in a statement to The Hill on Thursday. "No funeral at the Cathedral requires the approval of the president or any other government official," he added.

Hours after New Zealand announced prohibitions against semiautomatic rifles and shotguns, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) tweeted the U.S. needs to follow the gun ban example. Feinstein tweeted: “In country after country, massacres are followed by sweeping changes to gun laws, as logic would dictate. The United States needs to follow these examples and take action to protect Americans from this deadly public health scourge.” She attached a statement to her tweet wherein she noted: Here at home in America, since the 1999 shooting at Columbine High School, we’ve suffered through at least 227 school shootings that killed 143 and left

What’s in a name? Everything for Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. The New York Democrat blasted Fox News host Laura Ingraham and her guest for mocking how she pronounced her name and saying she does so because it’s a “Latina thing.” “If by ‘the Latina thing,’ she means I actually do the work instead of just talk about it, then yeah, I’m doing ‘the Latina thing,’” she wrote on her Twitter page late Wednesday. “Unless of course she‘s talking about being multilingual, which we know isn’t a ‘Latina thing.’ It’s a ‘21st century’ thing.” Ocasio-Cortez also said that Fox News’

Former liberal Republican California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger ripped President Donald Trump on Wednesday evening for his “absolutely unacceptable” attacks on the late Sen. John McCain (R-AZ). “He was just an unbelievable person,” Schwarzenegger told the Atlantic. “So an attack on him is absolutely unacceptable if he’s alive or dead—but even twice as unacceptable since he passed away a few months ago. It doesn’t make any sense whatsoever to do that. I just think it’s a shame that the president lets himself down to that kind of level.
