Few black, Hispanic students admitted
to NYC’s specialized high schools

WPIX-TV [New York, NY], by Craig Treadway and Kristine Garcia

Original Article

Posted By:Ribicon, 3/19/2019 9:10:18 PM

New York — Despite Mayor Bill de Blasio’s attempts to diversify the New York City’s specialized high schools, only a small number of black and Hispanic eighth graders received admission offers to those schools this year. About 27,500 eighth graders across the city took the Specialized High School admissions test, or SHSAT, this year. Among the 4,798 students who received an offer to one of the city’s specialized high schools based on their exam score, only 506 black and Hispanic students received offers to schools, including Stuyvesant High School, Bronx High School of Science and Brooklyn Technical High School.

Comments:
Marxist theory admits only one possibility: Bill De Blasio is a secret Klansman who rigs the system to bar Underserved Minorities from their place in the sun.

So, build some rooms, stock them with comic books, loud banging rap music, some hoops and let them in. You could get the "underprivileged" in by the hundreds-(search them for guns and knives, first, though!) then your racial parity issues will disappear. Heck, you could even give them degrees- diplomas - and gold chains and sum Nikes- Rayshul equalitee! they won need no degrees soon as Pelosi and her dim-wits in congress make those "Repayrayshuns" come true.

Truly a dilemma. B/H students don’t pass a test, welcome to real life, and they don’t get the gold ring. Is it parentage? Is it bad schools? Is it community?

So come those who want to obliterate performance based advancement so that those that have not advanced will hold back those that have. That...does not solve the real pronlem.

When President Jimmy Carter and his Director of the Office of Personnel Management, Alan Campbell, found that not many blacks were passing the entry level management exam, PACE, they eliminated the exam.
Instead, they relied on ´an evaluation of resumes.´
Problem solved.

Either one or the other of the following:

1) de Blasio prefers to keep blacks dumb by forcing them to go to inferior schools serving the projects and/or black neighborhoods. If you keep them dumb and uncontrollable they won´t qualify for his special schools; or

2) de Blasio doesn´t want too many blacks soiling his special schools so the tests are rigged such that they won´t qualify to get in.

Border Patrol agents had to rescue a double-amputee illegal immigrant in a wheelchair from an island in the middle of the Rio Grande this week, a day after pulling a deaf and dumb man from the water. The rescues are part of a pattern of increasingly frail or ailing migrants attempting to sneak into the U.S., assisted by smuggling cartels eager to cash in on lax American enforcement policies. In the case of the Guatemalan man in a wheelchair, he was spotted Wednesday by agents on a boat.(Snip) Agents concluded he lacked permission to be in the U.S., then helped

ICE has had to turn loose more than 100,000 illegal immigrant family members over the past three months, a top official said Thursday, setting them free in border communities as the surge of people coming to the U.S. overwhelms the system. That works out to more than 1,000 family members being cut loose every day, stressing not only Homeland Security but also the charities that are trying to help them, and the local infrastructure—including bus stations—that are trying to help them. Even though we do not yet know exactly what the Mueller Report says, we do now know that no other indictments are in the works. No collusion with Russia by the Trump campaign was found. So, the self-assured and confident predictions by so many on the left that they had seen "cold, hard evidence," and that Mueller would find copious evidence of "collusion" with Russia, was just wishful thinking alone.
