What Kellyanne Conway Told Me About George

RUSH: I also got an email during the break. “Rush, Rush, what do you think of this George Conway situation?” Folks, this is so unseemly to me that I don’t quite know what to think about this. So much of this is inexplicable.[Snip] CALLER: Yeah. I think George Conway is the one who’s got problems. George Conway’s the one who’s dealing with narcissism. George Conway’s the one who’s got terrible, you know, uhhh, Small-Hand Syndrome or whatever you want to call it. George Conway —

Have you ever been sitting alone, reading in silence and the sound of your own voice startles you when you have involuntarily said, "YES", out loud in agreement with something you´ve read? That happened to me today when I read Kate, from Carson City, Nevada say exactly what I´ve been thinking about George Conway for some time now! And, imo --- Mr. Conway isn´t only jealous of Kellyanne. He´s jealous of PDJT!

Perhaps Kellyanne should watch what she tells that ugly husband of hers. I am beginning to think her position is rather untenable and she ought to hand in her resignation.
Wasn´t the rumor mill once rife about Kellyanne being a leaker? She ought to tell that husband of hers that he is an embarrassment!

I truly don´t know a man who would be nasty enough to do to his wife what Conway is doing to Kellyanne. She is doing a great job (as she did guiding Trump to his Victory). Apparently her short, fat little lump of a husband can´t take it that she is on TV, looking lovely and knowing what she´s talking about. SHE is the SMART ONE in the family and he is a NOTHINGBURGER! That is the problem in a nutshell. If he were my Husband I would kick his rear end to the nearest Hotel!

If I were Kellyanne I would put some distance between us such as a divorce. His anti-Trump remarks can´t be the only thing amiss in that marriage. Perhaps he is jealous of his wife.
You would think he would be more supportive of his wife who holds a unique position in these historic times.

Whenever I think of them I think of the Carville/Mary Matalin marriage. The Conway/Costanza situation is different, however. Trump is her boss. He´s not talking about policy, he is trashing her boss, our president, and saying derogatory things about his character, and has no basis for saying it. Not sure who is giving him the megaphone thought. If he wasn´t married to Kelly, no one would care what he thinks, and probably no one would marry him either.

Even many who hates Trump and are Democrat (if they don´t have TDS too bad) think what he is doing is tasteless, because it so clearly undermines his wife´s job. I would bet she makes the money in the family.

He is a litigation attorney and wrote the court brief defending Paula Jones in clinton scandal.

Only a completely dishonorable man could and would embarrass and humiliate his wife, especially so shamelessly and publicly. That George Conway speaks so disparagingly of his wife´s employer, our President, also exposes the rancorous and spiteful character of the man.

That Kellyanne chose such a man to marry is baffling but none of my business.

Despite her public indifference, this all must be very difficult for her - I wish her well.

It is often hard to fathom the internal dynamics of a particular marriage. But I have no doubt that Kellyanne has told George on multiple occasions that if he messes with the bull long enough eventually he will get the horns. Well ...

I suspect there´s more to this than meets the eye. What bothers me most is that Kellyanne doesn´t seem to be very upset by her husband´s sabotage. She´s seems perfectly willing to let George drag her boss through the mud. That´s ODD. And there should be an explanation for it.
I´ve read accounts of Kellyanne being the supreme WH leaker. What if she wants out badly but she´s boxed in because of the way Trump does business? She would´ve had to sign all sorts of non-disclosure clauses and loyalty statements that would prevent her from writing a book, a blog, or otherwise casting aspersions on Trump or disclosing what happens behind the scenes...In the beginning she may have eagerly signed anything he put in front of her.
But suppose that she´s become skeptical, or uncomfortable in her job. And suppose she feels ethically bound to honor any contracts she signed.
Could this be a plan that she and her husband hatched as a way to circumvent any or HER legal restrictions? HE wouldn´t have signed non-disclosures; he could act as her mouthpiece. And that would answer my basic question as to why such an accomplished spin artist seems to tolerate her own husband publicly insulting her boss.
Could this be what´s really going on?

I think Kellyanne is the leaker. Remember the staffer who wrote the book about her on the phone leaking stuff while she is sitting right near him. I think she fills her husband in everyday by phone. And both will work together on a book about Trump, when she leaves her position. Someone should check her phone records.

Mr. Trump has dealt with more difficult people than the husband of Kellyanne. I am not worried about Mr. Trump in that regard at all.

If I could work with the CEO of a major corporation and never talk about company business at home, why on earth would headsy Kellyanne not do the same?

(Think about the fact that that may be part of George’s problem. His wife has a super-important job working closely with the president of the United States and he is on the outside, looking in, his nose pressed to the glass.

Reading this thread, I realize how many here were not around or were asleep during the years that Mary Matalin and the Skull were married and she was thatclose to the power. Many of the comments could have been the same with only the names of the parties changed. No one could figure out why she stayed with him, started to spread rumors of why she should not be trusted because she did stay, and on and on.

If it is nice where you are, go out and take a walk. We survived Mary Matalin’s marriage. We will survive Kellyanne’s.

As for using her work as a political consultant (what she previously was paid to do for a number of people) to Ted Cruz as some sort of evidence she cannot be trusted with President Trump, I believe that is patently absurd. Lots of people moved from Cruz to Trump...

Conway (him) should be more circumspect in his criticism. His views are supportable and held by the majority of Americans, but he is undermining Kellyanne and raising personal questions which are best left out of the common conversation.
I, too, have wondered why she continues to work for Trump as she always appeared to be a sane, responsible person. Other good people have attempted to work for Trump and found their efforts to do the right things unavailing. She, along with Pompeo and Haley, appear to have found a way to avoid his ricocheting insults and work for better outcomes. In that light, George should just pipe down.

Last time I looked, Mr. Conway is a lawyer but no psychiatrist, and remote diagnosis is against APA (American Psychiatric Association) guidelines. It resembles, for those with VERY long memories (or political historians), the attempted and completly ludicrous remote psychiatric diagnosis of Barry Goldwater by a bunch of shrinks in FACT magazine.

Since I am not a doctor, nor play one on TV, Mr. Conway has a few problems, like impulse control. Kellyanne may be dealing with his emotional problems in trying to keep the family together.

If Kellyanne has a shred of self-respect, and realizes her house is not a home, it´s time to consider separating. This has got to be wearing on her and her family´s spirits. I believe there are also children, which is why she may be ´game facing´ or trying to brush this off--he may be at home caring for the children.

And she dated the late and gone too soon Fred Thompson, who was a real mensch and nice to look at too.

Even though we do not yet know exactly what the Mueller Report says, we do now know that no other indictments are in the works. No collusion with Russia by the Trump campaign was found. So, the self-assured and confident predictions by so many on the left that they had seen "cold, hard evidence," and that Mueller would find copious evidence of "collusion" with Russia, was just wishful thinking alone. The apparent scoop du jour is that ex-VP Joe Biden is set to announce his bid with his running mate already picked out: former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams. Suggestions for his VP thus far have been a who’s-who of the current field of competition for the nomination, including Harris and O’Rourke. Abrams possibly becoming The Chosen One is somewhat surprising, because her star has only so recently begun its ascendency — but not too surprising, because of her fierce intellect, warm demeanor and popularity. Stacey Abrams exudes good sense and kindness, delivered with impeccable poise: that’s the impression most

The Washington National Cathedral disputed President Trump´s claim that he had to "approve" the funeral of the late Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.). "Washington National Cathedral was honored to host the funeral service for Senator John McCain. All funerals and memorial services at the Cathedral are organized by the family of the deceased; only a state funeral for a former president involves consultation with government officials," a cathedral spokesperson said in a statement to The Hill on Thursday. "No funeral at the Cathedral requires the approval of the president or any other government official," he added.

A few months ago, Colton Haas and I traveled to the once beautiful city of San Francisco, hoping to have a question answered: What happened to San Francisco? (Video) Erica Sandberg, a community advocate and journalist, broke it down for us: "Right now the major issue — people always call it homelessness — but the major issue is drugs." While San Francisco has always battled homelessness and currently has about 7,000 homeless people, the drug issue is exacerbating the problem. The city currently hands out more than 400,000 syringes each month but only 246,000 are returned, leaving 154,000 syringes left

First of all, of course everyone should wait to see the contents of the actual Mueller report before drawing any specific final conclusions about it. But here are some laws of nature in the modern age: If that report contained a fraction of the damaging material breathlessly awaited in the media culture for two years, there would be some smoke signal of it. Instead, we saw an actual finding from the Justice Department that there would be no further indictments from the probe. No indictment of Trump. No indictment of anyone associated with the campaign or the administration to support

This spelling and grammar test from the 1980s is so difficult that it is claimed no one can get more than 50 per cent of the answers right. The 20-question quiz promises to leave even the brightest brains scratching their heads. Indeed it is so tricky that its creator, Playbuzz user Terry Stein, claims players will ´never´ be able to score more than 10 out of 20. So if you think you have what it takes then scroll down to take the test in full. But the answers are at the bottom - so no cheating...

Hours after New Zealand announced prohibitions against semiautomatic rifles and shotguns, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) tweeted the U.S. needs to follow the gun ban example. Feinstein tweeted: “In country after country, massacres are followed by sweeping changes to gun laws, as logic would dictate. The United States needs to follow these examples and take action to protect Americans from this deadly public health scourge.” She attached a statement to her tweet wherein she noted: Here at home in America, since the 1999 shooting at Columbine High School, we’ve suffered through at least 227 school shootings that killed 143 and left

MSNBC’s top Russiagate conspiracy theorist Rachel Maddow burst into tears on Friday — after the past two years of her reporting was revealed to be nonsense. On Friday, it was revealed that there would be no more indictments from Robert Mueller’s office, sealed or otherwise, which completely contradicts the tall tales that she has been selling her viewers. Barely holding it together, Maddow emotionally explained that she is on a fishing trip in Tennessee and came into a studio — despite having had the day off. (Videos/Tweets) Clinging to absolutely anything to avoid apologizing for her bogus reporting, Maddow claimed that
