We’re nowhere near a solution
to the immigration crisis

New York Post, by Michael Goodwin

With President Trump simultaneously fighting much of his own party as well as Democrats, a Yogi Berra classic fits the occasion: “It’s deja vu all over again.” More than two years into his presidency, Trump is once again at odds with most of Washington. The first veto of his presidency reflects his predicament, one of many perils he faces on the road to 2020. The politics notwithstanding, the president is right to use executive power to find more funds for border barriers and security. To do otherwise would be to betray his promises to secure

The crisis President Trump is fighting is the coup d´etat staged by the Swamp´s administrative Deep State since the 2016 election.

But running in 2020 he should explain why 1) Dems changed their mind on immigration and the Wall for their own political gain and 2) self-centered, America-loathing pols in both parties have been fighting his every single move since Day One.

We´re tired of it and want our country back.

If Goodwin was correct that Trump is "fighting much of his own party" then there would have been more than 12 in the Senate who voted with Democrats. Twelve out of 50+ is not "much," it is more like a fourth. In anyone´s reckoning, 25 percent is much less than 75 percent.

We all know what the stakes are in the war to secure our border. It is everything to the right and left. On the right you have a common sense approach. We know the Republic cannot absorb the number of illegals invading our country. We also know that the invasion is a planned attack by the globalists inside and outside the country. This is a strategy to break the back of the middle class and bring on a chaotic socialist system of government without the use of traditional weapons of war. Globalists know their use of human beings as an invasion force is not only cost effective but strategically effective because direct use of weapons against our sovereignty would be met with overwhelming force. Reasonable Americans easily recognize this evil but effective plan of manufactured invasion for what it is. The ramifications of millions of invaders is the number one existential threat to this country and is being aided and abetted by our fellow Americans, various religious organizations and of course, the progressive ruling class who believe the influx of millions of socialist minded invaders will assure their political domination in perpetuity.

We are willing to do battle on the field of ideas for the right to govern, but we are not willing to allow an anti-American political party to cheat in order to assure their mistaken belief that by hook or crook they will rule over the rest of us. They want to force us into a politically correct suicidal strategy which will assure them victory in every election going forward and we are not inclined to give up our sovereignty and beloved country anytime soon. We have the correct and only solution. Build the wall and crush these open border zealots.

As long as Uniparty rules, there will never be a solution to our porous borders. They like the cheap labor for landscapers, pool boys, au pairs, and day laborers. Eventually, the Dems will get power again, and they´ll amnesty the whole lot and our country will be lost.

#2 - Ever hear anyone talk about "keeping up appearances"? That´s all the GOPe was doing. The shame is that there are many suckers out there still willing to buy their fig leaf excuses - like Rand Paul´s constitutionality nonsense. How about defending our national sovereignty, Rand? Principles...always principles.

Until willing to vote out "our guys" and get rough at our local and state levels this is how it will be. They´re not powerless, they´ve sold old.

And don´t think this doesn´t set the stage for a later impeachment charge of "Abuse of Power". What will Rand say then about this President acting "unconstitutionally", the essence of abuse of power in this country.

Goodwin doesn´t have the courage to simply state the case. The nod to the democrats and swampers that ´´Trump is his own worst enemy´´ type of statements just illustrate that Goodwin wants to hedge his analysis.

This whole border issue, as it stands, is not President Trump´s ´´fault.´´ It is the fault of the democrats, the never-Trumpers and the liberal media.

One has to wonder what Washington truly does represent, and you see why they are fighting President Trump so much.

First you have to cut through the pandering to see what´s left.

What Washington represents falls into two camps. The first are the big-money interests. They are largely indifferent to the United States, and will deal with anyone (including our enemies) as long as they make money.

The second group are the ´Social Justice´ warriors who want to change the country. They don´t want to preserve it or improve it. They will change it into something that is less than what it is today. Some of these people want to destroy it. In a warped way, destruction is a form of change.

Don´t believe this? Look at what´s being elected to Congress. Look at our recent Presidents. None of these people want to preserve America or improve it. They do not love our country. Our immigration policy is a perfect reflection of this attitude.

The only exception is President Trump. At best, Trump is a short term answer. Both parties will see to it that nobody of his ilk will ever be nominated for President ever again. We are more likely to see another Obama rather than another Trump as President in the future.

At this stage of the game it is clear that there are a lot of people and entities, both domestic and foreign, that are profiting big time directly, indirectly, and politically from the decades long criminal smuggling of contraband, illicit narcotics, and millions of illegal aliens many of them violent foreign criminals, into the USA by way of the insecure borderline. That’s why the congressional Uniparty is using all sorts of diversions in their attempts to stop President Trump from being able to build an effective borderline barrier to stop much of the criminal smuggling coming over the borderline.

President Trump was exercising widespread authority delegated to him by earlier Congresses and still on the books. It was part of long term trend of Congress repudiating responsibility for work they should have been doing, to other branches of government.

To claim that Trump was overstepping Presidential authority is rank hypocrisy. When Pelosi and Schumer smugly lie to us that the invasion of drug smugglers, violent criminals, and illegal aliens at our southern boarder is not an emergency, I want to vomit!

When Obama was using "his phone and his pen" to bypass Congress, that was overstepping Presidential authority! Yet all I heard was crickets chirping. Where were the politicians´ principles then?

President Donald J. Trump is the best President in our lifetime. The Republican Party wants him to fail because of a Globalist New World Order. Traitors:

MITT ROMNEY, UTAH
LAMAR ALEXANDER. TENN.
ROY BLUNT, MO
SUSAN COLLINS, MAINE
MIKE LEE, UTAH
MORAN, KANSAS
LISA MURKOWSKI, ALASKA
RAND PAUL, KENTUCKY
ROB PORTMANN, OHIO
MARCO RUBIO, FLORIDA
PAT TOOMEY, PENN.
WICKER, MISSISSIPPI

and McConnell had votes to spare if needed: Thom Tillis of North Carolina withdrew at the 11th hour, and John Cornyn, John Thune and Barasso were in the reserves. The message is simple. They do not want America First, will protect China and low wages, and are close to the 67 votes needed to impeach and convict our great man.

The Republican Party is now Trump. We have to primary as many as possible. We must fight voter fraud by Demosocialsts, Welfare for Illegal alien hordes, Anchor baby Citizenship, Chain Migration, and build the Wall. Our economy is roaring because Trump and I do not want to see my accumulated wealth slip again for social diversity redistribution programs. I suppose it’s true that “Democracy Dies in Darkness,” as the Washington Post’s slogan says. But journalism may also die, by morphing into forms that can no longer be described as journalism. Journalism may come to mean a crooked scandal sheet, or high-minded propaganda. Sometimes squalor and self-righteousness are equally disreputable. The Post’s apothegm, somehow off-kilter, with its alliteration and self-importance, was a purposeful bit of branding, designed to claim high ground and to poke a thumb in President Trump’s eye every morning. Such partisan intent detracts from the slogan’s claim to universality. The self-serving implication—the notion that,

Special Counsel Bob Mueller has handed in his report, marking the effective end of the three-year Trump-Russia investigation. Hallelujah! This means that Mueller firmly expects to file no more criminal charges, which pretty much confirms that all the media and political hysteria about his investigation was driven more by partisan wishful thinking than by anything resembling hard evidence. And that hysteria used up far too much time and attention in a nation with plenty of real issues to worry about. Yes, as much as possible of Mueller’s report should be released to the public,

A constant refrain we now hear is that President Trump’s order to finance the wall is “unconstitutional” and “violates the separation of powers.” That is not the case. Richard H. Pildes, a professor of constitutional law at New York University, wrote on March 14 the clarifying article, “How the Supreme Court Weakened Congress on Emergency Declarations.” Here are his salient points: Trump’s declaration of a national emergency to build the wall derives from that singular authority in the National Emergencies Act (NEA), passed by Congress in l976. Since then, presidents have resorted to the NEA 58 times.

If so, the dishonest purpose would likely have something to do with student aid while she and Elmi went to college in Fargo at North Dakota State University. If Omar is not Elmi’s sibling, the marriage nevertheless appears to involve some serious dishonesty she has concealed. I originally raised the question regarding Omar’s marriage to Elmi in 2016.
