CNN´s Lemon: It´s Not Jussie Smollett´s Fault
He Lost In Court Of Public Opinion

CNN´s Don Lemon complained on Wednesday that it was not Jussie Smollett´s fault that he lost the battle in the court of public opinion after the "Empire" actor was charged with felony disorderly conduct for allegedly filing a false police report. (Video) Smollett, who was arrested Thursday morning, was charged with allegedly lying to police about a hate crime that law enforcement officials claim he orchestrated against himself because he was dissatisfied with the tens of thousands of dollars that he was making per episode. In a clip flagged by The Washington Free Beacon´s David Rutz, Lemon argued that it was

But it IS his fault he got caught lying to the cops. Blatantly lying, I might add. What do you say to that, Don?

Lemon seems to be babbling.

Smollett appears to have:

Sent himself hate mail.

Staged an assault to pretend he had been singled out for being Black and gay.

Lied to the police about all of it.

Went on TV and lied about it looking for sympathy.

Smollett did all that. It sure IS his own fault. His agent or his "people" may have encouraged him to give interviews to gain sympathy. If he hadn´t been lying that might have been good advice.

Since he was lying and he rabble roused over the issue, yes, public opinion has turned against him, like it does most criminals.

In the early days of stereos, back around 1958, Bob and Ray, a comedy team, came out with an LP in stereo - the first stereo record I played on my new stereo set.
In one of the scenes, as Bob and Ray stroll around a large building, they come upon a giant clock, and tied to the pendulum, there is a man, screaming for help. And each time the huge pendulum swings back and forth, the man screams, ´help me.´ And his screams move from one side to the other of the listener.
Bob and Ray question their tour guide, impressed by the giant clock.
"Does that man tied to the pendulum affect the timekeeping of the clock?"
"No."
They then move to the next room, where a group of men are marching to bagpipe music, in circles.
Bob and Ray are upset. "How could you do that to those men? Do they ever get to rest? Is it always bagpipe music?"
For some peculiar reason, I thought of that Bob and Ray record as I read this article. If you people are wondering why I posted, I, too, wonder about that.

Blacks in America should be really upset that people like Lemon, Waters, Jackson-Lee, Cummings, Johnson, Cowgirl Wilson, Smolette, Harris, Booker and the Obamas keep making blacks look so stupid. They wonder why some people profile blacks the way they do, but look at the examples they are given.

My opinion and the entire public have nothing to do with the criminal act of a stupid person committing a hate crime. If everyone approved like Don Lemon did then Smollett´s act was justified? This is how race wars get started like Fergerson which begin with lies to the public to be consumed.
Smollett got caught now needs some serious jail time to stop this in the future.

What is he talking about? If you are a gay black man you don´t have to follow the law? It´s okay to hinder your city police with a hoax? Possibly spending tens of thousands of dollars needlessly? If Lemon wants to get pissy we might ask him why there is no outrage over the thousands of shootings in Chicago with hundred murdered, black on black crime, every year and barely a mention of it. If Smollett is guilty put him in jail. Then turn that misplaced concern you have, Mr. Lemon to more pressing problems. I am tired of constantly being accused on a number of sins simply because I am white and I support our President. Mr. Smollett lived in a world of fantasy role playing and reality is about to smack him up the side of the head. If you are that worried about him you might want to visit him a few times and maybe make a deposit to his commissary account.

BTW, I always like to remind people that Lemon once asked an aviation expert if the lost Malaysian airliner might have been sucked into a black hole. He thinks there might have been a black hole somewhere in the Indian Ocean. Video is readily available.

Lemon is saying such foolish things, It´s crazy.

The "Court of Public Opinion" MEANS NOTHING. It´s the Court of Law that means something. This is what radical libs do. It´s all about feelings instead of right and wrong.

Smollett broke many laws and he must pay the price regardless if Lemon feels that´s not nice... It´s intellectually dishonest of Lemon and purposely committed crimes by Smollett.

I guarantee you that Smollett will get a "slap on the wrist" punishment, and immediately start his speaking tour of lie-beral college campuses.

He will be welcomed as a hero, since he tried so hard "to fight the evil of racism and homophobia through this brave stunt"!!!!!!

And, of course, his book will be #1 on the NY Time-waster best seller list (without actually selling any copies).

You have to remember the lie-beral mindset, where the ends always justify the means. You can lie, cheat, steal, even kill, if it helps to promote lie-beral ideas and give lie-berals power!!!!!

Yeah, the spin is starting...

God willing, the truth will prevail over this case. And Lemon cares most - actually cares exclusively - about public opinion.

Physical evidence was the basis of Juicy Fruit´s arrest. And that will be the basis for judging his innocence or guilt.

But to Lemon it´s all public opinion. Objective reality is of least importance - or even no importance at all.

What a shallow and stupid discussion. The court of public opinion? There´s a whole culture that says you can´t judge based on skin color but a person´s shoes tells you all you need to know. How about the court of self-respect and simple human dignity? How about not letting others define you?

I´ve heard many suggest that Don Lemon is the dumbest person in "news". Hard to argue with that.

This whole three-week drama gives me hope for our country.

Smollett has lost in the court of public opinion because most regular guys knew from the get-go that this was a hoax because, thank goodness, most regular guys still have common sense.

The media was either too stupid or too in love with the ratings juggernaut to ask too many questions. Don’t ask a question if you don’t want to know the answer. Robin Roberts’ interview is the perfect example -- feigned ignorance in the pursuit of a robust bottom line. Why kill the ratings Golden Goose with curiosity, skepticism and the dreaded follow-up question?

Just like Governor Jim McGreevy has his own Truth, (My Truth is I am a Gay-American), the media has Our Truth. “Our Truth is Chaos, Anger, and Division. Tune in tomorrow for more of Our Truth.” That’s their business model.

That this story was drawn out for three weeks has been a blessing; people had time to rely on their own common sense and intuition to see through Smollett´s lies and through the media´s fake "Our Truth" to the objective Truth. Most regular guys are feeling pretty smart right now.

A partial transcript is as follows: LAWRENCE O’DONNELL: Are you one who’s willing to, at this stage of the game, venture a guess about where Robert Mueller is and isn’t in this process and how close he is to filing a report? And beyond that, what would you would expect from such a report? JOHN BRENNAN: I think Robert Mueller wants to be able to conclude his

Florida, with its plentiful beaches, warm weather, and lack of a state income tax, is the most popular destination for older adults in the U.S. But some who have lived in the Sunshine State for years are moving in the opposite direction. As damaging storms and other effects of climate change have hit Florida particularly hard in the past few years, some older adults living there have become concerned about their safety and their ability to enjoy retirement. So they’re fleeing this otherwise balmy state. About 52,630 people ages 65 and over left Florida in 2017, versus 48,174 in

Barbra Streisand is under fire for comments she made about two men accusing Michael Jackson of sexually assaulting them as children. The legendary singer and actress said that Wade Robson and James Safechuck — whose allegations against the late King of Pop resurfaced in the recent documentary “Leaving Neverland" — “were thrilled to be there” and that what allegedly happened to them “didn’t kill them." Streisand, 76, made the strange comments to British newspaper The Times in a piece out Friday, in which she also said that Jackson’s “sexual needs were his sexual needs.”

The San Antonio City Council banned Chick-fil-A from San Antonio International Airport over “anti-LGBTQ behavior” as part of a new concession plan for the airport. District 1 City Councilman Roberto Treviño motioned to approve the Food, Beverage and Retail Prime Concession Agreement with Paradies Lagardère for the airport Thursday on condition Chick-fil-A be excluded from the agreement. Treviño asserted Chick-fil-A has a “legacy of anti-LGBTQ behavior” and that such a business had no place in the city’s airport. Even though we do not yet know exactly what the Mueller Report says, we do now know that no other indictments are in the works. No collusion with Russia by the Trump campaign was found. So, the self-assured and confident predictions by so many on the left that they had seen "cold, hard evidence," and that Mueller would find copious evidence of "collusion" with Russia, was just wishful thinking alone. They all had to know the infamous "dossier" was faked.

The Washington National Cathedral disputed President Trump´s claim that he had to "approve" the funeral of the late Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.). "Washington National Cathedral was honored to host the funeral service for Senator John McCain. All funerals and memorial services at the Cathedral are organized by the family of the deceased; only a state funeral for a former president involves consultation with government officials," a cathedral spokesperson said in a statement to The Hill on Thursday. "No funeral at the Cathedral requires the approval of the president or any other government official," he added.

This spelling and grammar test from the 1980s is so difficult that it is claimed no one can get more than 50 per cent of the answers right. The 20-question quiz promises to leave even the brightest brains scratching their heads. Indeed it is so tricky that its creator, Playbuzz user Terry Stein, claims players will ´never´ be able to score more than 10 out of 20. So if you think you have what it takes then scroll down to take the test in full. But the answers are at the bottom - so no cheating...

A few months ago, Colton Haas and I traveled to the once beautiful city of San Francisco, hoping to have a question answered: What happened to San Francisco? (Video) Erica Sandberg, a community advocate and journalist, broke it down for us: "Right now the major issue — people always call it homelessness — but the major issue is drugs." While San Francisco has always battled homelessness and currently has about 7,000 homeless people, the drug issue is exacerbating the problem. The city currently hands out more than 400,000 syringes each month but only 246,000 are returned, leaving 154,000 syringes left

First of all, of course everyone should wait to see the contents of the actual Mueller report before drawing any specific final conclusions about it. But here are some laws of nature in the modern age: If that report contained a fraction of the damaging material breathlessly awaited in the media culture for two years, there would be some smoke signal of it. Instead, we saw an actual finding from the Justice Department that there would be no further indictments from the probe. No indictment of Trump. No indictment of anyone associated with the campaign or the administration to support

Hours after New Zealand announced prohibitions against semiautomatic rifles and shotguns, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) tweeted the U.S. needs to follow the gun ban example. Feinstein tweeted: “In country after country, massacres are followed by sweeping changes to gun laws, as logic would dictate. The United States needs to follow these examples and take action to protect Americans from this deadly public health scourge.” She attached a statement to her tweet wherein she noted: Here at home in America, since the 1999 shooting at Columbine High School, we’ve suffered through at least 227 school shootings that killed 143 and left

MSNBC’s top Russiagate conspiracy theorist Rachel Maddow burst into tears on Friday — after the past two years of her reporting was revealed to be nonsense. On Friday, it was revealed that there would be no more indictments from Robert Mueller’s office, sealed or otherwise, which completely contradicts the tall tales that she has been selling her viewers. Barely holding it together, Maddow emotionally explained that she is on a fishing trip in Tennessee and came into a studio — despite having had the day off. On Friday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “MTP Daily,” House Intelligence Committee and Judiciary Committee member Eric Swalwell (D-CA) stated that he doesn’t think he or the majority of his colleagues will accept a report “unless its veracity is testified to by Bob Mueller.”Swalwell began by saying, “[T]he American people will see every word, every comma, every period of this report. The president is outnumbered now in a way that he was not before.” He added, “Second, I don’t think I, and most of my colleagues, will accept a report unless its veracity is testified to by Bob Mueller.
