Sheer Madness From Ms. Ocasio-Cortez

Now for the charming topics of Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, Ed Markey, and the so-called “Green New Deal.” If ever there was a multi-pronged way to snatch Depression from the Jaws of prosperity, Ms. Ocasio-Cortez seems to have hit upon it. Ms. AOC has discovered that the planet is warming to an alarming degree. Never mind that she is in no sense a scientist. Never mind that many climatologists say that climate change is a hoax — and many say it’s not a hoax at all. Never mind that there are many different possible causes of climate change and that human activity

The Green New Deal is just the latest in a long history of attempts by the Left....prompted by RUSSIA and China....to deindustrialize and destroy the US while filling their own miserable pockets. They should all be imprisoned and gagged!

Obviously this AOC woman is a bubble headed bimbo who is the product of an education system that believes more in indoctrination than education but my question is why did the republican party just sit back and let liberals or progressives as they now like to call themselves take over the education system and are they doing anything about it now? They need to pass legislation doing away with tenure and start firing these Marxist professors en masse. Will they? Doubtful.

2020 will determine whether America goes forward as a republic or disappears into the dustbin of history. Two generations of Americans now have been sufficiently mentally poisoned to make option two a real possibility.

The planting of ignorance is bearing poisoned fruit. This is terrifying stuff.

It is terrifying. What is worse is that there are so many people in Congress who will sign onto this craziness just to make their leftist points, never calculating the cost to the entire country.

Democrats are proud of their ignorance. Surrounding yourself with an impenetrable wall of ignorance protects you from having to actually think seriously or defend yourself with facts and reason. The day they give up their ignorance is the day they cease being Democrats.

The madness isn´t that there is a lone bimbette who came up with such a goofy and destructive plan, it´s that at least 4 of the Democrat candidates for President have enthusiastically signed on to it as their plan for what they intend to do to this country. Just wrap your head around that for a moment. Oh sure, they say it´s "only aspirational", to reassure all us frogs that they´ll only boil us a few degrees more each year, but that term actually means that they really do intend to boil us all the way.

And the NY Times and all the cool kids think these are not just smart, sane candidates, but actually the ones this country should vote for.

THAT is the real madness. If they somehow succeed, with their newly imported millions of illegal voters, it´s time to water the tree of liberty as designed by the Second Amendment.

Democrats are bullies. They believe they can shout down any opposition. Their supreme ignorance comes from their absolute arrogance of feeling their position is right and good. Whether their beliefs support facts and truth does not matter. It is all about feeling and wanting their “truth” to be fact. These kinds of people cannot be reasoned with or debated. It is their way or the highway. Anyone who opposes them is an enemy to be destroyed. There is no room for respectful debate or conversation. It is war and we had better dress for battle. Apathy assures tyranny.

Just as an education degree means absolutely nothing in terms of topical knowledge, graduating from journalism school doesn´t mean the ´journalist´ has the first clue about their assignment.

They are little more than human mic stands, holding out an arm with a logo´d mic and nodding like fools as the nods are intercut with the subject of the interview for no good reason.

There are never follow-ups based on fact. There are never challenges to the near-constant use of syllogisms by the left. There isn´t the first attempt to remind the lefties of contradictory statements and actions.

As I recall, there are at least 30K climate scientists who oppose the whole idea of global warming and even signed a letter saying as much. Shame the media can´t ever be bothered to contact some of them for the other side of the coin opinion.

Since Al Gore is trying to get on AOC´s little bandwagon, I would say that proves even more that her little scam is indeed a scam and a bid for controlling as much of the lives of Americans as she and the Feds can grab.

Stein never fails to enlighten, delight or terrify. The brainwashing of American youth began in the sixties & seventies and Boston College can not take all of the blame, they are now all like that. Boston can however, take credit for Doug Flutie. Every professer in every school (who are all products of the sixties & seventies) mentions global warming at every opportunity, as do NPR, the BBC and every other TV program that somehow benefits from government or liberal dollars. Several movies have been based on the hoax. Vanishing coral reefs are blamed on GW, not the constant flow of trash and sewage into the sea or harvesting of coral by scuba divers and Florida gift shops. Dead fish supposedly can´t take a two degree fluctuation in the water temperature when I think they are smart enough to swim a few miles further north if they want a perfect 72 degrees. And cows, come on, nobody is willing to give up milk or beef except maybe the chicken processing industry. AOC, in all her stupidity is just one victim of many from the era when nobody questioned the intelligence of professors or the wisdom of government. How wrong they all were.

Always clarify that the idiots are claiming man-caused climate change or man-driven global warming. Then laugh at their ignorance when they agree.

Apparently the climate has been warming and freezing through cycles for millions of years. It´s driven by the sun and tectonic activities. Man really has no say in it. And co2 is a lagging indicator of warming, meaning it´s not a cause. Water vapor is much, much, much more involved as a ´thermal blanket´, in the weather.

#1 is absolutely correct. The one world order progressive movement sees the USA as an unfair accident of history. Incredible natural resources guarded by two oceans, the USA is impervious to military conquest. However we can be torn down by bad economics and foolish immigration policies, which are currently being pushed by the left. If these facts are even mentioned, they are derided as lunatic conspiracy theories. As our rotten educational system produces more and more “unwilling to work”, we are toast.

To me, the simplest and accurate argument against the New Green Deal is on air pollution.

If the United States managed to completely eliminate CO2, then as the world turns, tomorrow we would be breathing the air the China polluted, and China would be polluting the air we didn´t pollute.

When AOC--or any other socialist--devises a plan that will force China...and India...to follow the same restrictions the same day that we start following them then I will listen to your pie-in-the-sky foolishness.

I suppose it’s true that “Democracy Dies in Darkness,” as the Washington Post’s slogan says. But journalism may also die, by morphing into forms that can no longer be described as journalism. Journalism may come to mean a crooked scandal sheet, or high-minded propaganda. Sometimes squalor and self-righteousness are equally disreputable. The Post’s apothegm, somehow off-kilter, with its alliteration and self-importance, was a purposeful bit of branding, designed to claim high ground and to poke a thumb in President Trump’s eye every morning. Such partisan intent detracts from the slogan’s claim to universality. The self-serving implication—the notion that,

Special Counsel Bob Mueller has handed in his report, marking the effective end of the three-year Trump-Russia investigation. Hallelujah! This means that Mueller firmly expects to file no more criminal charges, which pretty much confirms that all the media and political hysteria about his investigation was driven more by partisan wishful thinking than by anything resembling hard evidence. And that hysteria used up far too much time and attention in a nation with plenty of real issues to worry about. Yes, as much as possible of Mueller’s report should be released to the public,

A constant refrain we now hear is that President Trump’s order to finance the wall is “unconstitutional” and “violates the separation of powers.” That is not the case. Richard H. Pildes, a professor of constitutional law at New York University, wrote on March 14 the clarifying article, “How the Supreme Court Weakened Congress on Emergency Declarations.” Here are his salient points: Trump’s declaration of a national emergency to build the wall derives from that singular authority in the National Emergencies Act (NEA), passed by Congress in l976. Since then, presidents have resorted to the NEA 58 times.

The San Antonio City Council banned Chick-fil-A from San Antonio International Airport over “anti-LGBTQ behavior” as part of a new concession plan for the airport. District 1 City Councilman Roberto Treviño motioned to approve the Food, Beverage and Retail Prime Concession Agreement with Paradies Lagardère for the airport Thursday on condition Chick-fil-A be excluded from the agreement. Treviño asserted Chick-fil-A has a “legacy of anti-LGBTQ behavior” and that such a business had no place in the city’s airport. Barbra Streisand is under fire for comments she made about two men accusing Michael Jackson of sexually assaulting them as children. The legendary singer and actress said that Wade Robson and James Safechuck — whose allegations against the late King of Pop resurfaced in the recent documentary “Leaving Neverland" — “were thrilled to be there” and that what allegedly happened to them “didn’t kill them." Streisand, 76, made the strange comments to British newspaper The Times in a piece out Friday, in which she also said that Jackson’s “sexual needs were his sexual needs.”

The apparent scoop du jour is that ex-VP Joe Biden is set to announce his bid with his running mate already picked out: former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams. Suggestions for his VP thus far have been a who’s-who of the current field of competition for the nomination, including Harris and O’Rourke. Abrams possibly becoming The Chosen One is somewhat surprising, because her star has only so recently begun its ascendency — but not too surprising, because of her fierce intellect, warm demeanor and popularity. Stacey Abrams exudes good sense and kindness, delivered with impeccable poise: that’s the impression most

The commandant of the Marines has warned the Pentagon that deployments to the southwest border and funding transfers under the president’s emergency declaration, among other unexpected demands, have posed “unacceptable risk to Marine Corps combat readiness and solvency.” In two internal memos, Marine Corps Gen. Robert Neller said the “unplanned/unbudgeted” deployment along the border that President Trump ordered last fall, and shifts of other funds to support border security, had forced him to cancel or reduce planned military training in at least five countries, and delay urgent repairs at bases.(Snip) Neller, a four-star general, said because of the

The Washington National Cathedral disputed President Trump´s claim that he had to "approve" the funeral of the late Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.). "Washington National Cathedral was honored to host the funeral service for Senator John McCain. All funerals and memorial services at the Cathedral are organized by the family of the deceased; only a state funeral for a former president involves consultation with government officials," a cathedral spokesperson said in a statement to The Hill on Thursday. "No funeral at the Cathedral requires the approval of the president or any other government official," he added.

Even though we do not yet know exactly what the Mueller Report says, we do now know that no other indictments are in the works. No collusion with Russia by the Trump campaign was found. So, the self-assured and confident predictions by so many on the left that they had seen "cold, hard evidence," and that Mueller would find copious evidence of "collusion" with Russia, was just wishful thinking alone. They all had to know the infamous "dossier" was faked.

A few months ago, Colton Haas and I traveled to the once beautiful city of San Francisco, hoping to have a question answered: What happened to San Francisco? (Video) Erica Sandberg, a community advocate and journalist, broke it down for us: "Right now the major issue — people always call it homelessness — but the major issue is drugs." While San Francisco has always battled homelessness and currently has about 7,000 homeless people, the drug issue is exacerbating the problem. The city currently hands out more than 400,000 syringes each month but only 246,000 are returned, leaving 154,000 syringes left

Hours after New Zealand announced prohibitions against semiautomatic rifles and shotguns, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) tweeted the U.S. needs to follow the gun ban example. Feinstein tweeted: “In country after country, massacres are followed by sweeping changes to gun laws, as logic would dictate. The United States needs to follow these examples and take action to protect Americans from this deadly public health scourge.” She attached a statement to her tweet wherein she noted: Here at home in America, since the 1999 shooting at Columbine High School, we’ve suffered through at least 227 school shootings that killed 143 and left

This spelling and grammar test from the 1980s is so difficult that it is claimed no one can get more than 50 per cent of the answers right. The 20-question quiz promises to leave even the brightest brains scratching their heads. Indeed it is so tricky that its creator, Playbuzz user Terry Stein, claims players will ´never´ be able to score more than 10 out of 20. So if you think you have what it takes then scroll down to take the test in full. But the answers are at the bottom - so no cheating...

What’s in a name? Everything for Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. The New York Democrat blasted Fox News host Laura Ingraham and her guest for mocking how she pronounced her name and saying she does so because it’s a “Latina thing.” “If by ‘the Latina thing,’ she means I actually do the work instead of just talk about it, then yeah, I’m doing ‘the Latina thing,’” she wrote on her Twitter page late Wednesday. “Unless of course she‘s talking about being multilingual, which we know isn’t a ‘Latina thing.’ It’s a ‘21st century’ thing.” Ocasio-Cortez also said that Fox News’
