President Trump blasted Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal as a flunky high school idea Monday night, prompting the Bronx congresswoman to mock the president’s intellect.Trump was holding a rally in El Paso where he said Ocasio-Cortez’s signature plan to combat climate change “sounds like a high school term paper that got a low mark.” Trump claimed the plan would mean taking away cars, tearing down buildings and shutting down air travel. “How do you take a train to Europe?” Trump joked at his rally in Texas.

DJT was being generous. It is more like a fifth grade term paper. This is what happens when one does not learn to think critically in college, but only to regurgitate what is spoon-fed to them by leftist progressive educators.

The problem is that her nonsense is so far out there that it doesn´t even serve the purpose of demonstrating the dangers of central planning and allowing government to steal the means of production.

Since it is impossible for the toil of every man woman and child over the age of 8 to accomplish her plan we don´t even entertain the thought of what essential tasks in society would go undone and how we would all starve to death and that our rotting corpses would go unburied because ann the grave diggers were retrofitting our buildings and building high speed rail.

# 3 She didn´t write it. When new senators and congressmen get to D.C. their staff is selected for them by those in office to ensure that the newly elected can be molded into the party line. The staff did the writing that reflects the establishment dem/socialist office holders point of view .Since she gets the press, being the new shiny thing , she was the outlet for the green deal outline.

AOC was way out of her league when she wrote the Green New Deal garbage. However, by design, Ms. Piglosi gave her enough rope to hang her self, and AOC did.

Now everyone on the Hill knows what an ignorant twit she is. Poor AOC, a perfect example of moronic intellect and communication.

For starters, if she wants to pay people to sit on their butts and do nothing, where does she plan to get the money to pay for this lunacy?

(Or the workers to build it?)

We will be assigned a dumpster to live in or a non-functioning vehicle. We will get a gov´t issue debit card to get out food at convenience stores (or little halal stores). We will shower at the local gym. We will have bicycles to get wherever we need to go.

How will the intercontinental trains be fueled. What happens when it runs out of fuel in the middle of the ocean?

In the 1970s our school district instituted an energy curriculum which I taught in all the primary grades in the elementary school where I taught. I soon discovered the children were very susceptible to manipulation and would embrace all kinds of extreme conservation. Not much has changed for those who have not faced the real world.

WASHINGTON — Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort could spend more than 19 years in prison on tax and bank fraud charges. That’s according to a court filing Friday by special counsel Robert Mueller’s office that lays out how federal probation officials have calculated Manafort’s potential sentence. The recommended sentence under federal guidelines would be the lengthiest prison term imposed in the Russia investigation if a federal judge agreed to it. It would also place the 69-year-old Manafort at serious risk of spending the rest of his life in prison.

Ahead of a rally Monday in El Paso, Texas, to boost support for his proposed border wall, President Trump signaled that he is still mulling an executive order to fund the barrier if congressional negotiations break down.“President is on sound legal ground to declare a National Emergency. There have been 58 National Emergencies declared since the law was enacted in 1976, and 31 right now that are currently active, so this is hardly unprecedented,” Trump tweeted Sunday, citing Rep. Tom McClintock (R-Calif.), who has encouraged Trump to end the stalemate by using national emergency funds to build the wall

Congressional negotiators say they’re close to reaching a deal to avert a shutdown, with Democrats acknowledging that a final compromise would include funding for border barriers — a concession that could spark rebellion within their party. Lawmakers and aides, however, said Friday that the conference committee remains several days away from a final border security deal as top spending leaders continued to trade offers back and forth. Negotiators technically have until Feb. 15 to reach an agreement to stave off another shutdown, but lawmakers insist the practical deadline for any agreement is much earlier in the week.

The U.S. Transportation Department announced Tuesday it would attempt to cancel $929 million in federal grant funds for California’s troubled high-speed rail project. The move marks an escalation in the war between President Trump and California in the days since Gov. Gavin Newsom announced a rethinking of the bullet train project after years of cost overruns. The Transportation Department also announced it was “actively exploring every legal option to seek the return from California of $2.5 billion in federal funds.” It’s unclear whether it has the legal authority to do so, and California would probably oppose such a move.In a
