Separated illegal immigrant families sue
U.S. government, demand $3 million each

Six illegal immigrant families filed multi-million dollar claims Monday against the Trump administration over last year’s family separations, saying they need the money to pay for counseling and other medical care to heal from the “torture” they said they suffered. The legal claims are the latest effort by immigrant-rights groups to punish the administration for the separations of thousands of children, which resulted from the Justice Department’s zero tolerance policy for illegal border crossers. The families and their lawyers say the policy intended to inflict “emotional distress” on the parents and children, hoping it would make attempting to sneak

Comments:
If we had leadership interested in the good of this nation, the lawyers would be disbarred and the plaintiffs summarily ejected from the USA.

They´re not suing the U.S. government, they´re suing US (taxpayers) while currently living off US. Put their butts on a $3 million plane, and drop them off (from the air is fine) in another country that will really treat them badly. Give them an appreciation of the good ole USA.

Bring in child protective services. Parents forced children to commit a crime. That is grounds for removal of parental rights. Additional penalties for making the children commit a crime while traveling across state lines. Make the families pay legal expenses when they lose. Disbar the lawyers or bringing this frivolous case to court Verifying that the parents are really the parents via separation and separating children from their violent parents while the parents are incarcerated are not offenses.

More than 300 parents and children gathered outside of a primary school yesterday to protest against lessons on homosexuality and gender. Some Muslim demonstrators said they would rather leave the UK than allow their children to continue attending Parkfield Community School in Birmingham. Pupils were kept out of lessons for the first hour of the day. Some joined in with the chants and held placards reading: ‘Education not indoctrination.’ One child carried a handwritten sign which said: ‘Let kids be kids.’ The protest comes amid a campaign against lessons on equality at the school, with parents in the predominantly Muslim

New York — An estimated 570,000 undocumented immigrants are currently living in New York State — the majority in New York City — may soon be eligible for driver’s licenses. Rallying on the steps of City Hall, elected leaders and advocates are pushing for all immigrants regardless of legal status to be granted the privilege. “The one thing we are hearing from our immigrant communities from Brentwood to Buffalo is drivers licenses are the single biggest issue,” said Steven Choi with the New York Immigration Coalition. The city council Wednesday overwhelmingly passed a resolution encouraging state lawmakers to make licenses happen.

Border Patrol agents say 311 migrants strolled around the end of the border fence in Sunland Park, New Mexico, and walked into the U.S., where they were arrested just before midnight. Almost all of them were families or unaccompanied alien children (UAC) from Central America, part of a stream of mini-caravans who have traversed Mexico over the last year, finding holes in American border security.
