Never Trumper Erick Erickson Announces
He Will Support Trump in 2020

Breitbart Politics, by Kristina Wong

Original Article

Posted By:JoniTx, 2/11/2019 4:43:24 PM

Erick Erickson, editor of the Resurgent and a leading Never Trumper who voted third-party in 2016, announced Monday in a column that he would throw his full support behind President Trump in 2020. “I will vote for Donald Trump and Mike Pence. And, to be clear, it will not be just because of what the other side offers, but also because of what the Trump-Pence team has done. They’ve earned my vote,” he wrote. Erickson argued that the president is not perfect but that the president has delivered on his promises. He wrote: Some of my concerns about President Trump

Proving that Mr. Erickson is far smarter than dozens of other self-professed "conservative commentators" who are so totally afflicted with TDS as to be still unable to wake up and look around and notice that Trump has done more of the things that they have for decades claimed to want than anyone has done since Reagan.

This really IS an intelligence test, and many alleged conservatives are still failing badly.

Welcome, sir a shame that you were sick for so long. How´s your head now that you have shaken off your TDS?

During the 2016 election, I often said that the problem with Trump is that we don’t know what he’ll do, and the problem with Hillary is that we know exactly what she’ll do. Now the President has a proven track record. For this reason, I expect a lot of other Never-Trumpers will also learn to never say never. I hope we can welcome their support without snark or told-you-so’s.

Perhaps Mr. Erickson just wanted to try being on the winning team. Losing is not fun.

While Erick may ´understand´ those who choose to stay on the sidelines, I, however, do not understand. How can a self-described ´Christian´ stay on the sidelines while you are being marginalized, criminalized, and demeaned at every opportunity by democrats. How can you judge the character of Prez Trump by what has been written by a lying, conniving and outright hostile media?

Erick: "he President has shown himself to not share my faith convictions any more than the other side.." And what exactly are you basing that on? The New York Times? How about CNN? What gives you the right or the insight to judge the character and faith of the President or anyone else for that matter. Sorry Erick. Although I´m grateful for your change of heart, you are showing yourself to be as feckless and ignorant as you have shown yourself in the past.

Part 2

2020 isn´t going to be the cake walk some think it will be. As weird and wild as the Democrat candidates are, they are going to work harder than Mrs. Clinton who thought she could mail it in and run ads saying "Trump is evil. Trump is mean. Vote for Me!"

President Trump won by 70,000 votes in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. Not a lot of margin for error, and I hate to say it, but the Republicans didn´t do well in those states last November.

It´s going to be tough to win any of those 20 states he didn´t win in 2016 and he´s gotta keep what he has.

But to my surprise, President Trump has learned how to work harder and better than his opponents for a long, long time.

Let´s work with him to be sure it happens again in 2020.

So, welcome aboard, Erick. Bring your friends along with you!

Part 1 (Sorry, posted in the wrong order)

Welcome aboard the Trump Train, Erick.

A lot of us have boarded late in the game.

Personally, I never liked Donald Trump since the early 80s when he screwed up the USFL (the first spring football league). Never read his books, watched his TV show, thought he was a blow hard egomaniac (and he could still be).

Come 2016, I figured he´d implode sometime in the race. Would have even bet serious money on it.

But like the stinkin´ Energizer Bunny, he kept plodding on. I didn´t vote for him in the primaries. (But he still was a better choice than another Bush.)

Considering his opponent in the general election, I hopped aboard the Trump Train.

Yes, there are a few bumps along the road and a couple places I wish the guy driving the train would have taken another route, but I´ve decided Trump is a WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get).

Anyway, back to his opponent in the general election. If her opponent would have been Satan, I would have be seriously studying the devil´s positions on the issues because Ol´ Beelzebub would probably be a more prefered choice than Mrs. Clinton.

He´s governed to solve problems, not kick the can down the road, and has been fought by entrenched cabals in the Congress (both parties), media, academia, entertainment, and the deep state bureaucracy/intelligence services/justice.

Mr. Erickson, I don´t like you because I don´t trust you. I won´t soon forget how hateful you were toward a Trump Presidency right out of the gate.
Now you want to join the team after all the work has been done.
You´re going to have to prove yourself to me.
I don´t convince very easily. I´v been around much too long to trust people who come to the party late and expect to be first in line to partake of the goodies.

Never Trumpers are free to vote for President Trump in 2020, and I will welcome their votes as I would anyone else´s.

I will never again seek their counsel, trust their judgment, or pay for their opinions. I have zero interest in the self-proclaimed conservatives who thought Hillary Clinton should be president. They were idiots, they were wrong, and they´re still here, trying to retain their relevance in a world that has passed them by.

I neither need nor trust the opinions of Bill Kristol, Rich Lowry, and the rest of the National Review crew. Since those people were among my most admired commentators once, you can imagine how little use I have for Erik Erickson.

In mid-January, a federal judge blocked an additional question to the survey that wants to ask whether the participant is a U.S. citizen. The Supreme Court promised yesterday to hear the case quickly so it is resolved before the 2020 Census. The Census is done every ten years so that Congress knows how to regulate federal money and affects the amount of representation each district gets. The number of electoral votes is also determined by the Census. Liberal leaders have long been counting illegals in the Census to inflate representation, then electing representatives who declare their area a "sanctuary" for

Earlier this week, Omar exhibited stunning ignorance in her hostile questioning of Elliott Adams Abrams. Similarly, Ocasio-Cortez has often displayed a surprising lack of knowledge for someone who apparently is a college graduate. Washington — Millions of Americans are waiting for Robert Mueller to give them the final word on whether the Trump campaign conspired with the 2016 Russian election interference effort — and whether their president is under the influence of a foreign adversary. Millions of Americans may be sorely disappointed. Unless Mueller files a detailed indictment charging members of the Trump campaign with conspiring with Russia, the public may never learn the full scope of what Mueller and his team has found — including potentially scandalous behavior that doesn´t amount to a provable crime.

Andrew McCabe is a national disgrace. He was part of the most corrupt and most partisan leadership team in FBI history and was fired for being dishonest under oath. And yet, America owes him a big thank-you. McCabe, you see, has reminded us once again that there really is a powerful deep state, and that there has not been a full accounting of rampant FBI misconduct during the presidential campaign of 2016. There is also still too much we don’t know about the role top aides to then-President Barack Obama and higher-ups in the Justice Department

Move over, Speaker Pelosi, and make room for New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and New York City Mayor Bill deBlasio as Democrats waking up to the disaster the rise of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is inflicting on the Democratic Party. She is no longer just a potential threat to their schemes and operating principles, she has taken a wrecking ball to them. Trust me: they desperately want to be rid of her but, due to her media presence and popularity with the young and ignorant, cannot visibly stick the shiv in her back.
