No, Candace Owens Isn’t
a Nazi Apologist

American Spectator, by David Catron

Original Article

If you expected any diminution of media malpractice following the recent spate of fake news scandals, you were mistaken. Less than a month after wrecking what remained of their credibility by parroting a piece of fiction from BuzzFeed about a former Trump lawyer, and compounding that offense by running a fake story about a group of Catholic high school students, they have struck again. This time the target is Candace Owens, the young black conservative who has urged African-Americans to stop voting Democrat. Over the weekend, the media ran with a BuzzFeed hit piece depicting Owens as a Nazi apologist.

Gotta love Candace, a Bright and Shining Star!

The prototypical Democrat voter in the black community was the woman I read about this am who was arrested when her 6 year old passed out in school due to cocaine! The drug was also found in the system o her 2 year old brother.

The left knows all they have to do is start a narrative and every media outlet will run with it. Now they have decided to try and connect Candace Owens with Nazis. They will not stop either. It is a tried and true strategy. Tell a lie long enough and people will believe it. Get out there and push back, Ms. Owens. And every supporter should do so too. This awful practice of progressives is as effective as it is devastating to their victim and they know it. All they want to do is plant the seed. Every time you hear Candace Owens, they want you to think Nazi.

Either the right needs to learn how to fight or we will lose. You can’t ignore it. You must confront whatever the left throws are you with the determination to destroy it. Progressives believe they have cowed us into submission. Not by a long shot. We must answer every lie immediately and forcefully push back. Never submit to their false narrative. Fight back.

For the Left, Candace must be Public Enemy #1 now. If this strong, young, beautiful, hyper-intelligent woman succeeds with her daring Blexit movement, the Left is finished at a national level, and they know it. Candace has never apologized or backtracked when attacked, as opposed to the instantaneous caving-crouch position adopted by nearly every GOP-er falsely accused of something/anything. We´ve got your back, Miss O!

Really, that´s the best they can do?

"IF Hitler JUST wanted to make Germany great and make things run well, OK, fine." is pro-Hitler?

I guess they think it will fly, since their target audience was never taught rhetoric or logic, so will not recognize the qualifiers which indicate that the speaker does not think Hitler limited himself to making Germany great and making things to run well and that as a result, he was NOT "OK, fine."

Actually the Hitler topic should be explored with objectivity. Hitler had two legs so we should condemn all people with two legs right?

If we were to deconstruct Hitler first into relevant traits and irrelevant traits and then examine the relevant traits and seperate those into the evil and not evil, we could save a great deal of time and screw up the left´s propoganda just a bit.

Standing for German interests first was not bad. Picking the Jews as the scapegoat for all things standing in the way of German greatness, freezing them, personalizing and polarizing them, cutting them off of any support network was pure evil and of course led to the final solution. Funny that has a familiar ring to it, reminds me of someone, hmm, it will come to me.

Nazi racist calling Candace Owens what they themselves are, typical.
The left using mocking words on the ignorant who listen and follow them.
Candace Owens is so intelligent that the blacks who listen will inform others that Owens is not what the ´name de jour´ from the left that mocks her.
When words from the left start to fly you know success is at hand. Keep up the great work for people you care for Candace Owens.

It would be wrong because the first reaction of a SJW/bully would be to become an innocent victim. There is a scale of justice and when it swings back on these leftist slobs they will get the whirlwind they deserve.

I know that´s a patchwork of cliches, but the lights of reason and truth are few. The kid with the hidden video and a few sites like this are the rare bright spots in a malicious media.

Leftists always have reading comprehension problems. Candace said "If Hitler JUST wanted to Make Germany great and have things run well, OK, fine" in the context of speaking about nationalism. Somehow, in leftist minds that became an endorsement of everything else that Hitler did. Do they have any idea of what the word "just" means?

If Hitler had merely wanted to make Germany great and run well, and done nothing else, that would have been an example of German nationalism that harmed no one. The same can be said of President Trump, who merely wishes to once again make America great. We wish no harm to anyone else (who do not wish us harm).

There was once a day, or at least Louis Brandeis said there was, when the states were the laboratory of democracy. I cannot personally confirm that rumor. Over the course of my own life, the Ffederal government has been a 24-hour laboratory for mandates on the states, respectively, or on the people. In the economic realm, as just one example, Washington confiscates much of our wealth and then tells us what to do with the rest. Washington has even larger appetites for the regulatory state, of course, which is now moving briskly beyond the boundaries

Beto O’Rourke, the former El Paso Congressman and failed Texas Senate candidate who announced his presidential run last Thursday, named his first son Ulysses. It’s a Latinized name for the hero, Odysseus, in the Homeric epic The Odyssey. This is typical of Beto: he likes heroes, and the stories of their discovery, trials, and triumphs. One of Beto’s favorite books is The Hero’s Journey, an overview by the literary theorist Joseph Campbell of Campbell’s theory of heroic myth. In Campbell’s work, the hero story, or “monomyth,” can be broken down into component parts,

Elizabeth Warren “is facing tough questions about fundraising and electability,” or so says The Associated Press. She is languishing in fifth place in a spate of polls of Democratic primary voters; Bernie Sanders and Beto O’Rourke are dominating the money race; and her detailed and thoughtful position papers on health care, monopolies and tax policy threaten to define her as the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy Winner of 2020—the candidate who wins a prize from policy wonks and civic-minded pundits, but who never wins the nomination. On Tuesday the Supreme Court ruled in favor of the Trump administration in Nielsen v. Preap, allowing the Department of Homeland Security to detain illegal aliens without bond while awaiting deportation for committing crimes within our borders. The decision reversed a ruling by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. It was authored by Justice Samuel Alito, who was joined by Chief Justice John Roberts as well as Justices Thomas, Gorsuch, and Kavanaugh. The ruling involved a class-action lawsuit brought on behalf of various resident aliens, including a few with Green Cards, convicted of crimes for which U.S. law mandates deportation.

Democrats are predicting a climate-change-fueled apocalypse 12 years from now, but 3,800 miles away in Paris, we’re seeing a preview of the real doomsday scenario that would result from radical policies such as the Green New Deal. The mouvement des gilets jaunes, or Yellow Vests Movement, started in response to French President Emmanuel Macron’s decision to raise gas taxes

Theresa May’s crushing defeat in the House of Commons this week over her plan for Britain to leave the European Union was actually a great victory for her, provided that you make a simple assumption: that she and her colleagues never wanted Britain to leave the EU in the first place. A majority of the British legislature is, and always was, opposed to Brexit. Those legislators who agitated most vociferously for it declined, when the time came, to carry out the policy, leaving it to a woman already well known for her political maladroitness.

In their fever to dispense with President Trump immediately, Democrats are losing sight of what Marxists called the “objective conditions” in the country and the fundamentals of presidential politics. Unless they take care, they will forfeit their chance to regain the White House in 2020 and could return congressional control to Republicans as well. Begin with the objective conditions. The first is continuing public disenchantment with political, media, financial and cultural establishments. It is this disenchantment that brought Mr. Trump to the White House in the first place

When people like Bernie Sanders or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez extol the virtues of socialism it reminds me of Dorothy Parker’s pun, “You can’t teach an old dogma new tricks.” Parker’s quip had nothing to do with politics, of course. It was about religion. This, ironically, renders it uniquely applicable to the recent resurgence of public interest in this hoary collectivist doctrine. The belief that replacing free market capitalism with socialism would result in a more equitable society requires a leap of faith. Unlike belief in Christianity or Judaism, for example, it requires blind faith combined with illiteracy in history and economics.

If you find it difficult to grasp how a handful of leftwing extremists managed to win last week’s battle with the nominal leadership of the Democratic Party over a House resolution originally written to condemn anti-Semitism, Margaret Thatcher explained the phenomenon four decades ago: “The one thing about leftwing politicians is that they are always fanatical.
