A quick back-of-the-envelope calculation using U.S. Energy Information Administration data for current electrical generation and gasoline consumption figures for the U.S. shows that well over one million additional nuke plants would need to be constructed just to fuel electric cars. That is not even taking into account the location and transmission nightmares involved. Any engineers out there who can back me up on this?

I hate to be the one to inform you, but...they´re already implementing her plan. The goofy Democrats have already started shutting down the coal and nuclear power plants. An article on Drudge today said that the power grid in the midwest may go critical in the near future and endanger about 65 million people. A previous article described how the natural gas-powered plants were strained by late deliveries during the extreme cold wave recently and resulted in alerts requesting keeping homes below 60 degrees.
Little Miss Tippy Top said this problem was "existential". She has no clue what that word means but she´s right for all the wrong reasons.
Wake up! Stop the lunacy in your area of the country before it gets any worse. If you don´t, we´re all going to learn what the Dark Ages were like without having to read any history books.

When Trump pulled the US out of the Paris Accord, the United States had already cut our emissions more than any other country.
If, somehow, we get to "net-zero" and no other country cuts their emissions, then what good has our sacrifice done??
Will the world still end in twelve years??
What will our place in the world look like, when we have voluntarily gone back to the 17th century and the rest of the world is still using 21st century technology??

The "Green Deal" is about POWER. The proponents want to create their idea of utopia. We are not to have any voice in the matter, because we are a bunch of stupid deplorables. Only they possess the divine wisdom to "know whats best for us." For them to succeed, they must control every aspect of our lives. They will use whatever force is necessary to suppress opposition and achieve this fantasy.
Whether you call it Socialism or Fascism, it is Totalitarianism. And, every country where it has been implemented has been turned into a living hell for all but the very few in control. It would destroy America.

All the billionaires in America are not going to pay enough taxes by a long shot to fund the leftist and liberal Democrats so-called New Green Deal that would cost more than all the existing government programs combined.
The Democrats have not said what government programs they would cut to reprogram money into their New Green Deal, but you can bet that the US Armed Forces are their primary target, beginning with abolishing the extreme US Marine Corps and much of the US Army, mothballing the Navy aircraft carriers and support ships, and grounding and disposing of the expeditionary capabilities of the US Air Force.
Anyone who has been paying attention knows that the big tax money that the US Government collects every year comes from the vast middle class of Americans who make the country go. While the Democrat snow job claims to be attuned to helping the middle class, in reality their socialist programs are attuned to forcing the middle class to pay a lot more taxes.

After fretting about whether she´d be able to afford rent, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.) has moved into a luxury apartment building in the District of Columbia´s Navy Yard neighborhood, the Washington Free Beacon has learned. Ocasio-Cortez, a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, got a big raise with her election to Congress, a job that comes with a $174,000 annual salary.
