| CHARLOTTE, NC - The “new normal” is to expect more visible ICE presence in the community, ICE Atlanta Field Office Director Sean Gallagher said Friday, following 200 arrests across North Carolina. Criminal offenders are being released back into the community, Gallagher says. The recent arrests include at least a dozen in Charlotte. [ ICE agents arrest at least a dozen people in Charlotte raids, according to local group ] Sixty people arrested were “not a target” by ICE, but were at the “wrong place at the wrong time” and when identified by ICE agents, they were arrested.

This is great news. I just wish they would show up at the lumber yard and nursery parking lots here in Las Vegas. They would find 50 times that many to arrest.

A pair of House Democratic chairmen have reportedly been consulting with the chamber´s general counsel to try to force President Trump to divulge information from his private meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin. House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Rep. The Washington Post reported that “Trump had been leaning against supporting the congressional spending bill but relented after several conversations with [Majority Leader Sen. Mitch] McConnell, who then announced his agreement to go along with an emergency declaration.” One reason for Trump’s last-minute opposition is that congressional leaders conducted the negotiations without significant White House involvement.

It has been two and a half weeks since Jussie Smollett reported that he was the victim of a hate crime, and in that time, his story has fallen apart completely. (snip) the home of the two "persons of interests" in the widely circulated community alert was raided by Chicago police. In that raid, they seized a list of items including multiple containers of bleach, a "red hat," an Empire script, a Mossberg rifle, and two computers. Andrew McCabe is a national disgrace. He was part of the most corrupt and most partisan leadership team in FBI history and was fired for being dishonest under oath.
