What makes Beto O´Rourke so special? –
Now that it’s 2019 the answer will shock you

Fox News, by Matt Gorman

Original Article

The shine is off Beto O’Rourke. Everybody knows it. Nobody wants to say it. But it’s true. What gave it away? Maybe it’s the fact that Democrats like Kamala Harris, Kirsten Gillibrand, and Elizabeth Warren have already announced for president, raising money, and traveling to the early primary states. Meanwhile, El Paso’s own former Congressman turned unemployed wonderer waffles like a latter-day Prince of Denmark. To run or not to run, that is the question. Or maybe it’s Beto’s own indifference. The rambling blog posts from his quixotic road trip spawned a popular parody Twitter account.

Comments:
Hence the attention grabbing counter-rally in El Paso when the president is there.

ICE needs to buy a couple of junker old school busses, and paint them to look like ICE transport busses.

Park them outside of the counter-rally, and watch the illegals scamper away like cockroaches when the light in the kitchen comes on!!!!!

I say buy old junker school busses for this because you can expect some "tolerant LIE-berals" (like Antifa members) to torch them!!!!!

He was incoherent in a CNN interview? So? Since when do incoherence and shallowness exclude a candidate from running for office as a democrat? I thought those were increasingly essential traits in fact. Don´t count him out quite yet.

The reporter walked into the lobby of the old folks home and saw the man he was to interview sitting in a wheel chair parked just away from the lobby, near a window.

“Hi”, he said, “I’m beto, i almost beat ted cruz.”

Beto was the favorite of the DIms for two things, and NOTHING to do with him...

1) he was running against Ted Cruz -- they would have loved to beat Cruz who contended well against Trump.

2) he was running in Texas -- they would have loved to "turn Texas blue"

Remember Senator Bill Bradley of NJ, who ran against Algore in 2000? And how Bradley was sort of muddled and confused in his thinking?
Robert O´Rourke is like that, without Bradley´s basketball skills. Or Bradley´s IQ.

If Beto insists on pretending that this is 2018, he can look forward to a campaign implosion of spectacular proportions.

I bet it will be an implosion so insignificant that many will never even notice his campaign ended. Because so many will never have noticed that it even began.

It’s fitting that William Barr’s confirmation as attorney general happened just as two powerful law-enforcement figures were trading accusations involving President Trump. Mr. Barr’s greatest challenge isn’t antitrust deals, immigration policy or even handling special counsel Robert Mueller. His overriding challenge is to reboot a Justice Department that has shredded its reputation and lost the confidence of Congress and the public. It’s hard to feel confident in law enforcement when a former deputy director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Andrew McCabe, reveals

VATICAN CITY—Cardinal Sean O’Malley of Boston, chief adviser to Pope Francis on protecting children from sexual abuse, called a meeting with top papal aides in 2017, concerned the Vatican wasn’t living up to its promise of “zero tolerance.” An appeals panel set up by the pope had reduced the punishments of a number of Catholic priests found guilty of abusing minors. In some cases, the panel canceled their dismissal from the priesthood and gave them short suspensions instead. “If this gets out, it will cause a scandal,” Cardinal O’Malley told Cardinal Secretary of State Pietro Parolin,

It is clear that the United States government, far more than the Russian one, interfered in the 2016 campaign. Figures throughout the Obama administration were using their power to investigate Hillary Clinton’s opponent and leaking that information to pols like Harry Reid and sympathetic members of the press to hurt Trump. Many of those figures — from John Brennan to James Comey to Susan Rice — appear on television these days displaying the very anti-Trump bias that drove their official actions during the campaign. How many other people watched the entire 80 or 85 minutes of President Trump’s rally in El Paso, Texas, Monday night on Fox? The pre-rally expectation was that this event would be an effort to build support for the border wall. Instead, it obviously was a test-run of issues for the 2020 campaign, covering everything from A to Zzz. At 9:55 ET, Sean Hannity cut away from the speech to denounce the border deal emerging in Washington. Then it was back to the rally’s remaining 40 minutes. It was strangely mesmerizing. Souvenirs from battlefields the world over can be found in our Division of Political and Military History. Unique among them is a mounted German pigeon. His name is Kaiser, and his story is unique in the annals of military homing pigeon history. He would become one of the longest-held prisoners of war in American history and one of the longest-living pigeons ever bred in captivity. But how did a German war bird come to "live" at the National Museum of American History? Kaiser´s story begins in Koblenz, Germany, in the first week of February 1917. There, in Hans Zimmerman’s loft,

On Feb. 3, 2009, Labor Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and his treasurer, Wayne Swan, announced the Energy Efficient Homes Package. “To support jobs and set Australia up for a low carbon future the Rudd Government will install free ceiling insulation

Democrats need an identity-politics intervention. Having unleashed race, gender, sexual orientation and class as the defining issues of American politics, these furies are now consuming their authors. Where’s Barack Obama when Democrats need him? Every national Democrat of note is demanding that Virginia Governor Ralph Northam resign for appearing in blackface in 1984 and for offering different explanations for an offensive photo on his medical college yearbook page. But Mr. Northam is refusing to go. A second woman has now accused Virginia Lt. Governor Justin Fairfax of rape, this time at Duke University in 2000.

Washington — Millions of Americans are waiting for Robert Mueller to give them the final word on whether the Trump campaign conspired with the 2016 Russian election interference effort — and whether their president is under the influence of a foreign adversary. Millions of Americans may be sorely disappointed. Unless Mueller files a detailed indictment charging members of the Trump campaign with conspiring with Russia, the public may never learn the full scope of what Mueller and his team has found — including potentially scandalous behavior that doesn´t amount to a provable crime.
