Red Lobster Faces Boycott, Mockery
After Pulling Ads From Tucker Carlson

Daily Wire, by James Barrett

Original Article

Posted By:ladydawgfan, 1/11/2019 7:10:24 AM

Amid yet another advertiser boycott pushed by left-wing groups against a Fox News host, Tucker Carlson has seen several companies pull their ads from "Tucker Carlson Tonight" after he described the unregulated influx of low-skilled immigrants as making America "poorer and dirtier." Speaking of unregulated immigration of those without a college education into the country, Carlson said, "Nobody even tries to defend it. Instead, our leaders demand that you shut up and accept it. We have a moral obligation to admit the world’s poor, they tell us, even if it makes our own country poor and dirtier and more divided."

So many advertisers to send nasty-grams to, so little time!!

From what I´ve read, Dardin Restaurants spun off a struggling Red Lobster brand a few years ago. Golden Gate Capital acquired the brand as a "recapitalize, restructure, and ultimately build meaningful businesses" as taken from their web site. "Golden State" means California to me. Yep, it´s San Francisco. San Fran´s values . . . kinda/sorta makes sense, that "they" don´t like Tucker very much. All of this IMHO, of course!

So a fast food outfit that is located in college towns and large urban areas pulls it´s ads. Hey, Tucker, a lot of Dems aren´t going to see the Lobster ads. Now that is if they are even watching your program instead of MSNBC.

Red Lobster was once a nice place to go, but since they were jettisoned from the Darden Group, it has rally gone down in quality, service, and way UP in price.

If they want ot buy or don´t want to buy ad space on a particular program is up to them, but when they make statements like they did, they should expect the public to react.

After my last visit to Red Lobster, I noted how inflated the prices had become for what I got-- and there wasn´t much to justify the price paid, which was over $10 dollars more than I remember paying the last time we went there and ordered the same items.

Almost EVERYTHING costs more since the Nobama regime, but it is sure nice to get a break on gasoline prices for a change!

Red Lobster hasn’t been much since they were a Darden company. We’ve been boycotting since Darden got in bed with Moochelle and her healthy-eating push. I worked for RL when it was what it needed to be .. a family-friendly casual dinner house that happened to serve seafood. Fine seafood? Heck, no, but they knew what they were and did it well. That was when they were owned by General Mills,

I ate at RL once many years ago.
Here´s my assessment of the low end seafood. The shrimp taste like the crab both of those taste like the fish my point it´s all some sort of breaded meat maybe Talapia. Put ketchup or sauce on it and it´s all the same. I just remember signature drop cakes on the table.
If I wanted breaded seafood I could go to the grocery store and purchase Mrs. Paul´s fish sticks or popcorn shrimp it´s the same product and cheaper.
It´s easy to boycott RL because I never shadow their door anyway. I guess the truth that Carlson spoke offended them so let them sell their brand to poor dirty people and liberals.

I used to like eating at Red Lobster. Their prices far exceeded above their quality so I stopped. Greed too is ruining many things in this nation. How is it energy is so cheap yet the cost of food escalates no mater the cost of the one thing most needed to raise crops? This pervades our society. Greed.
So as a child of the High Plains I no longer eat fancy sea food imported from 1000 miles away. Beef is good. Pork too is out of line with reality and don´t even mention chicken. Prices are crazy. The only reason is greed.

Carlson was not wrong but he was not politically correct, which was a worse sin to the libs.

He was spot on with the immigrants who come here, collect in their own communities and immediately foul up the area and begin to cause trouble. The exception is the Chinese and some other Asian peoples. They make it a point to learn the language, set up legitimate businesses and excel in school. They don´t form gangs and they don´t demonstrate against the country that accepted them. Yes, they have a darker side in utilizing human trafficking and underpaying their employees but you don´t see them on the news for stabbing or raping people.
