Remember When Starbucks Caved And
Opened Their Bathrooms To Non-Customers?
Here´s How That Worked Out.

Daily Wire, by Mark Walsh

There are so many contrived outrages in a given week, let alone a year, that it can be hard to recall any individual instance of outrage after it has already passed. But the infamous Starbucks bathroom outrage was so phony, so absurd, and so disconnected from anything resembling logic or reason, that it deserves to be remembered. In case you need a refresher course: a Starbucks manager at a location in Philadelphia came under heavy fire last spring after refusing restroom privileges to two non-customers. The men, who happened to be black, asked to use the restroom...

Ehh... I haven´t been in a Starbux for years. I make good coffee at home. If I want the Starbux experience I can pour myself a cup, yell my name out wrong, light a $5 dollar bill on fire, then scrape the ashes into the coffee! Plus I can go to my own bathroom without worrying about running into some drug-addicted perv!

"If you abandon a thoughtful, well-reasoned path just because a bunch of imbeciles are shouting some word that ends with -ist or -phobic, you will ultimately pay a much higher price than whatever price the imbeciles may have been able to extract."

Yes. This is the Left´s whole game plan. Find something to complain about, no matter how absurd or disconnected. Then find a Republican to blame, no matter how ridiculous the connection. Then scream about it. The closer they get to insanity the more "valid" they think their point is.

The problem is they are without any real causes so they just scream insanely and hope that people think there is a cause. Now they are just insane.

McDonalds is eating Starbucks lunch where I live. All the Starbucks are empty compared to their heyday. McDonald’s prices are a lot lower with very good coffee drinks and definitely more clean.

Have visited exactly one Starbucks since they opened and that was at a small airport that had no other source for coffee. Besides being ridiculously priced, I just wouldn´t contribute to these touch-feely over the top leftists.
As I type this, I´m enjoying my daily K-Cups of McCafe medium blend. McDonald´s is everything that Starbucks will never be.

As a fan of good marketing, I do admire Starbucks for their ability to sell a common commodity at high prices.
The only slick mArketing that I admire more is the Seven Springs ski resort in Pennsylvania.
They were selling Seven Springs bottled water, but had to stop when it was discovered that the water was not Spring water, instead was water from their faucets.
Starbucks is like Seinfeld - a show about nothing.

There must be a big list of corporations out there by now who wish they had not made that one stupid decision, Coca-Cola, Target, Starbucks, Ben & Jerry´s, Dick´s, Red Lobster, Disney everything.

McDonalds coffee is far better and only costs a buck. They now give my dog a biscuit every time I drive up to the window. You can´t buy customer service like that.

Rather than subjecting myself to the Starbucks experience, I make coffee at home.

For me an old-style, stove-top percolator works great. (Gets the coffee really hot – unlike drip machines.) Pour it into a thermos and you´re good to go all day.

I went into a Starbucks once, with a friend on a hunting trip. I don´t drink coffee, and never had a need for their service. The same friend tells me that McD´s coffee is easily as good for far less $$.

I have no idea, never really liked the stuff particularly, and it upsets my stomach a lot. Tried drinking it when I started work, it was in all the conference rooms, something to do at the start of a meeting. Indigestion all day ended that.

So, whatever they do is very far removed from my life.

I perk my own coffee everyday at home and only drink ´other people´s coffee´ on the road when traveling. Many truck stops have decent coffee and no derelicts in the restrooms.
I had some blood work done and had to fast until after the procedure. I stop at a Starbucks knockoff called the Hardback Cafe in a Hasting´s book store. I stepped up to the counter and totally confused the clerk when I just wanted coffee ´black´. Total confusion and she never understood the language like I couldn´t read the coffee menu. I never did get my coffee and left the overprice snobby coffee sipper´s bizzaro establishment.
Starbucks I can comment about because I´m not going to spring for a cup of coffee no matter how good it is when two of us can purchase coffee that will give us drink for over a week for the price of Starbucks who has now become Star Trek.

Two years ago at a local restaurant and watering hole with a friend, as I was exiting the boys´ room I thought I saw a junkie tying a constriction band around his arm in the stall. Ewwwww. Returning to my place at the bar I asked my friend to see for himself. Sure enough, that junkie was shooting up, and had hit a nice vein so that the blood was backing up into the syringe. Pretty gross.

I wanted to go in there and announce myself as James "Sonny" Crockett of Miami vice, and that the junkie was about to be busted. But you never know. The old derelict smack addict might have been armed, and could have panicked. Good idea, though.

Now Starbucks, in certain locations, has had to install needle disposals which are not necessarily utilized by needle using non-patrons, who probably also like taking full baths during twenty minute sessions locked in the can as incontinent customer mill about outside in queue. Serves them right.

Not only is blood left behind on the floor--airborne germs are propelled many feet away by the "sanitary" hot air blowers put there to save paper waste. As Mouse of Mouse and the Traps once sang (circa 1968, sounding more than a little bit like Bob Dylan in various songs), "Sometimes you just can´t win."

Democratic freshman Rep. The content of these speeches, given to predominately Muslim audiences, remains unknown, prompting some of Omar´s critics to express concern about the type of rhetoric she is using before these paying audiences, particularly in light of the lawmaker´s repeated use of anti-Semitic tropes in public. Defeated but unrepentant, some jihadists limping out of their besieged final bastion in eastern Syria still praise the Islamic State and promise bloody vengeance against its enemies. But here are some laws of nature in the modern age: If that report contained a fraction of the damaging material breathlessly awaited in the media culture for two years, there would be some smoke signal of it. Instead, we saw an actual finding from the Justice Department that there would be no further indictments from the probe. No indictment of Trump.
