Judicial Nightmare: Jeff Flake Has
Pretty Much Destroyed His
Party´s Agenda On Judges This Year

Townhall, by Matt Vespa

Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) is leaving, but not quietly. The immensely unpopular Republican has decided to totally trash his party’s judicial agenda. Flake is the key 11th vote on the Senate Judiciary Committee, and he’s not budging until Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell holds a binding vote on a bill protecting Special Counsel Robert Mueller and the Department of Justice’s Russia investigation. It’s frustrating. It’s deplorable. And it just comes to show you why Flake would never have won re-election if he decided to execute a suicidal banzai charge concerning that effort.

What does he gain? Will he ever be able to win a Rebublican seat to any office again? Unlikely. Will he get a great lobbyist job? I doubt any Rebublican will take him seriously after this. Is he about to switch parties and run as a Democrat? Ah, now things make sense. We may be witnessing the end of the RINO class as they learn they no longer can win as lying Rebublicans.

So what is to stop McConnell from stripping Flake of everything and letting him be a back bench seat warmer for the next three weeks? Do we the voters have to come up with everything?

The Senate Republican leadership should remove Flake from that Committee and appoint some other real Republican Senator so that the Senate Republican agenda can move forward.

Remember how many times we´ve heard that any Republican is better than any Democrat and we always need to support the ticket?

For decades we´ve heard that on this site from a group dedicated to the preservation of the Republican establishment. In reality, there are absolutely Republicans who do more damage than a Democrat because they do it within the tent, and they do it to the approbation of leftist media looking for confirmation of dishonest narratives and division within the party.

We need to primary these people and remove them from our party roster. Failing that effort, we need to vote for a Democrat who will do less damage unless it cost us control.

Remember how McConnell was a genius who would get all of our confirmation through despite being manifestly ineffective at opposing Obama and leading on behalf of conservatism?

Let´s see what Mitch does now.

On Thursday, the Health and Human Services committee of the South Dakota House killed a bill that would have protected the right of parents to refuse to consent to medical or psychological treatment for a child suffering from gender dysphoria if the treatment “would induce, confirm, or promote the child’s belief that the child’s sex or gender identity is different from the child’s sex presented at birth.” Proposed House Bill 1205 also provided that “no public authority or official of this state may take any adverse action against a parent for exercising this right.”

The Democrats’ Green New Socialism proposes blanketing the U.S. with solar panels and wind turbines so as to replace all reliable forms of power generation with unreliable, intermittent sources. Everyone knows that solar panels don’t produce electricity at night, but there is another problem: they don’t produce electricity when it snows, either. A friend took this photo and wrote: I was up in Ramsey [Minnesota] picking up my camper, and next door is this fantastic $30,000,000 brand-new solar installation.

The cost of building the train, at last estimate, was put at $77 billion and wouldn´t be completed until 2033, the Associated Press reported.

The paradox of Donald Trump’s Presidency after two years is that his main successes are the result of traditional Republican policies. His main trouble has come from the Trumpian exceptions on trade, immigration and polarizing temperament that motivate many of his supporters. Whether he can overcome that seeming contradiction may determine whether he can win what on present trends looks like an uphill climb to re-election. As Mr. Trump will no doubt tell Congress in his State of the Union address Tuesday evening, his main achievement has been re-energizing

The GOP Majority Leader in the Senate persuaded President Donald Trump to not veto the GOP’s flawed border security bill by promising to back a national emergency construction of border walls, according to insider leaks to the establishment media. The Washington Post reported that “Trump had been leaning against supporting the congressional spending bill but relented after several conversations with [Majority Leader Sen. WASHINGTON— What is happening to the Democrats? Captivated by a handful of liberal superstars, they are venturing where the party has long feared to tread: Steep taxes on the rich. Abolishing an immigration enforcement agency. Proposing "economic transformation" to combat climate change. Gleefully waving goodbye to a big business — and its jobs. On Thursday, newly-elected Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez led a chorus of cheers as Amazon announced it was abandoning plans to build a sought-after headquarters in New York City. Activists berated the online giant for a $3 billion package of tax breaks she said the city could better invest

With Amazon NYC ‘second HQ’ deal cancelled,
Ocasio Cortez now officially is
a huge problem for Dems

Move over, Speaker Pelosi, and make room for New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and New York City Mayor Bill deBlasio as Democrats waking up to the disaster the rise of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is inflicting on the Democratic Party. She is no longer just a potential threat to their schemes and operating principles, she has taken a wrecking ball to them. Trust me: they desperately want to be rid of her but, due to her media presence and popularity with the young and ignorant, cannot visibly stick the shiv in her back.
