Theresa May is "in office but not in power" after suffering a series of humiliating defeats in the House of Commons - leaving her authority shot to pieces. The PM is on course to lose next week´s parliamentary vote on her Brexit deal, a blow which could force her out of power. Last night the Government suffered the worst Commons defeat for 40 years - losing three crucial votes within the space of an hour. In an unprecedented move, ministers were judged to be in contempt of Parliament for refusing to release legal advice on Brexit. And Mrs May

She´s losing her grip. Not sure who would replace her if Conservatives throw her overboard.

Theresa sure ain´t no Dame Margaret "The Iron Lady" Thatcher. May seems to be among that group of leftoids who are so convinced of their own superiority that they act as though they are free to ignore the clearly expressed will of the electorate. Offspring of unwed parents the lot of them.

She is the British equivalent of a RINO. She presented herself as a champion of Brexit, but allowed herself to be thoroughly overpowered and corrupted by the left.

The UK headlines have been screaming that May is "almost finished" for at least a year. She seems pretty resilient.

Amazon’s announcement Thursday that it is abandoning plans to construct a second corporate headquarters New York City is a catastrophic loss for the city, New York state and the metropolitan region. As a New Yorker, I find it immensely disappointing to see the immediate economic impacts and future economic losses of this unfortunate move. I wholeheartedly believe that New York is a global city that should always strive to diversify its economy and compete on the world stage. Amazon would have created more than 25,000 jobs in New York City with an average annual salary of over $150,000. The

LOS ANGELES — Steven Spielberg, Lady Gaga, Spike Lee and Glenn Close have a message for Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg: Get well soon. They and three dozen Hollywood A-listers, from Bradley Cooper to Quincy Jones, have signed a card that´s being overnighted to Ginsburg on Thursday. The 85-year-old Ginsburg has missed a month of Supreme Court arguments as she recovers from the lung cancer surgery she had in December. In the card, Lee refers to Ginsburg as the "Judge of Brooklyn." Regina King wrote that she is the true, "Super Diva" in reference to a shirt Ginsburg wears

Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.) came under fire Wednesday from an abortion rights group for her support of President Donald Trump’s judicial nominee Michael Liburdi. In remarks to the Senate Judiciary Committee Wednesday, Sinema praised Liburdi’s credentials, describing the nominee as a “well-respected attorney” and noting his role as general counsel for Republican Arizona Governor Doug Ducey. Sinema added that while she did not share “all of the same political beliefs” as Liburdi, he was still “professionally qualified" for the role. Trump nominated Liburdi to become a judge for the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona in January. But

The Trump administration´s new special envoy for Venezuela, Elliott Abrams, clashed Wednesday with freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., during a House hearing on the Caracas crisis after the congresswoman tried to turn focus to Abrams´ history in Latin America while asking him point-blank whether he´d support "genocide" if it served American interests. Abrams fired back, calling the line of questioning "ridiculous" and refusing to respond to the personal "attack." The questioning was the latest moment in the spotlight for Omar, who earlier this week apologized for tweets considered anti-Semitic -- and who previously criticized what she described as a "US

A new generation of Democrats is using far-reaching policy ideas and a brash social media presence to upend the party — pushing it to the left on divisive issues such as health care and climate change while it charts a path aimed at taking the White House in 2020. But the liberal shift, and the lawmakers driving it, are also creating challenges for Democrats in more-conservative areas, and they are giving President Trump and congressional Republicans fresh opportunities for political attacks. The GOP has been particularly focused in recent days on hammering Democrats over draft details of a broad

On Wednesday, May 10, 2017, my first full day on the job as acting director of the FBI, I sat down with senior staff involved in the Russia case—the investigation into alleged ties between the Trump campaign and the Russian government. As the meeting began, my secretary relayed a message that the White House was calling. The president himself was on the line. I had spoken with him the night before, in the Oval Office, when he told me he had fired James Comey. A call like this was highly unusual. Presidents do not, typically, call FBI directors.

Washington — Millions of Americans are waiting for Robert Mueller to give them the final word on whether the Trump campaign conspired with the 2016 Russian election interference effort — and whether their president is under the influence of a foreign adversary. Millions of Americans may be sorely disappointed. Unless Mueller files a detailed indictment charging members of the Trump campaign with conspiring with Russia, the public may never learn the full scope of what Mueller and his team has found — including potentially scandalous behavior that doesn´t amount to a provable crime.
