Conservative author Jerome Corsi on Monday filed a criminal and ethics complaint against special counsel Robert Mueller alleging prosecutorial misconduct in the Russia investigation. The 78-page complaint alleges that Mr. Corsi “has been criminally threatened and coerced to tell a lie and call it the truth.” (Snip) “Dr. Corsi has been threatened with immediate indictment by Mueller’s prosecutorial staff unless he testifies falsely against Roger Stone and/or President Donald Trump and his presidential campaign, among other false testimony,” wrote Mr. Corsi’s attorney Larry Klayman. According to the complaint, Mueller’s team is “knowingly and deceitfully threatening to charge Dr. Corsi

Roger Stone has made the same claim as Corsi. Considering the only fish Muller has caught so far are tangential small fry and for “process crimes” at that, I’d say Corsi’s complaint highlights a long and very bad pattern by Muller.
Muller is our very own live version of Inspector Javert, the self-righteous fanatic who pursued Jean Valjean in Les Miserables. Javert wound up jumping into the Seine to drown himself. Muller has the Potomac nearby. Just sayin.

Wouldn´t this be pretty hard to prove? Is there some sort of record of investigation specifics? If enough people file such complaints, would that in and of itself carry extra weight?

Could this Mueller bastid face his own comprehensive comeuppance?

It’s call suborning perjury and is one of the reasons that Slick was impeached.

Somewhere there are recordings of these “interviews” between Mueller’s team and Corsi. Klayman can subpoena them and the others who were threatened can do the same.

In a just legal system the entire Mueller team and several big shots at the DOJ would be headed for prison.

If you go back and view what Corsi has written and reported over the years, you´ll see he´s no wimp and always has the facts. He´s been a frequent contributor on WND for years. I remember listening to him on Coast to Coast AM on the birther issue. He had facts no one else had. He´s definitely a thorn in the side of Obama as well as the Clintons.

Mueller´s goons pick the wrong man to mess with.

A major obstacle to Corsi’s suit (or to Stone’s) lies in the fact that Mueller was appointed to his task by the Executive Branch. To find for Corsi requires a ruling, which at least in part, bars the President (or his designees) from running his own shop. Courts are usually reluctant to do that and right-leaning courts are even more reluctant than left-leaning ones. In this case, left-leaning courts would not provide much help as ruling for Corsi would look like ruling in favor of Trump.
Sessions really screwed the pooch by letting Rosenstein set the ground rules for this investigation. It would take a factual finding of malfeasance by Mueller or his team to derail the investigation at this point. Given the limitless mandate that Rosenstein carved out for Mueller, malfeasance would be extremely hard to prove.
More generally, this is another example of where we, as Conservatives, should not be looking to the courts to solve problems of our own making. A solid Attorney General would never have granted Mueller the broad license that Sessions effectively did by recusing himself. The next AG needs to be made of sterner stuff.
I wish Corsi the best of luck with his suit. He’ll need it.

California regulators are nixing a plan to tax mobile phone messaging following a ruling by federal telecommunications regulators. The controversial "text tax," which drew opposition from wireless providers and business groups, had originally been introduced as a means to fund programs that make phone service accessible to low-income residents. The Federal Communications Commission last week classified messaging as an information service rather than a telecommunications service. California Public Utilities Commissioner Carla Peterman withdrew the plan "in light of the FCC´s action" on Dec. 12, regulators said Friday.
