Wall Street Rule for the #MeToo
Era: Avoid Women at All Cost

Bloomberg, by Gillian Tan and Katia Porzecanski

Original Article

Posted By:Ribicon, 12/3/2018 4:58:50 PM

No more dinners with female colleagues. Don’t sit next to them on flights. Book hotel rooms on different floors. Avoid one-on-one meetings. In fact, as a wealth adviser put it, just hiring a woman these days is “an unknown risk.” What if she took something he said the wrong way? Across Wall Street, men are adopting controversial strategies for the #MeToo era and, in the process, making life even harder for women. (Snip) Interviews with more than 30 senior executives suggest many are spooked by #MeToo and struggling to cope. “It’s creating a sense of walking on eggshells,”

Comments:
The law of unintended consequences raises its ugly head, not much different from how HR departments shy away from minority hires who might become impossible to release from employment should things not work out.

Who didn´t see this coming? You would have to be an idiot to hire a woman these day. Way too emotional, way too vindictive, way too arrogant and way too steeped in victimhood.

That´s the way I´ve decided to do it.

I avoid interaction with women at my company unless absolutely necessary.

I don´t discriminate, but I sure won´t take one under my wing.

Feminists got exactly what was coming to them and it will now be harder than ever to break that glass ceiling.

I used to travel with a female companion and we made a great team. We would regularly hug each other when our flight arrived home after a productive trip. I can only imagine the grief I could have suffered if she had taken it the wrong way but sometimes you can just tell. Nothing sexual about it, just two good friends saying goodbye until the next trip.

FTA:, “those men are going to back out of a sexual harassment complaint and right into a sex discrimination complaint.” And that is exactly the point. The point is to make it impossible for men to work with women regardless of their bhavior and thus drive men out of the workforce all together. The Democrats have been pushing their anti-men agenda for decades and it is now in the endgame. Just remember, the best laid plans can go a-rye when the unintended consequences begin.

Under PDT unemployment numbers for women have been at historic lows. Now they will start climbing again and the left will blame it on Trump instead of themselves.

Just like allowing trannies to compete in women’s sports, this will bite the feminazi’s on the arse.

I’ve advised my 24 year old son, who is in his first post-college ‘real’ job with a major corporation, to be extremely careful around women at the workplace and even in social settings. I’ve told him we women are an emotional bunch (and I’d even prefer to work with men!) and that these younger women have been steeped in radical feminism and other social justice garbage. White men are in the crosshairs—be smart.

A lot of the damage to some women´s careers will come from bosses declining to have private one-on-one meetings with them, or having meetings that should be confidential but leaving the office door open.
It´s not surprising, in the aftermath of the character assassination of Justice Kavanaugh and the patently false accusations brought forth by Ford and others. Men, especially those in management positions, will have to protect themselves.
Mike Pence doesn´t seem at all irrational, does he?

Smart men can usually control their own actions but unfortunately there are always women in the workplace who have learned that the fastest way to get ahead is with their pants off. Once you succumb you are the predator SOB and she is the victim.

I´ve only hired one minority guy in my life and within three months, despite his glowing resume, demonstrated that he could not program a computer any better than he could control his upside down life.

Yes, we went through the recommended period of probation and HR lectures but he finally did one thing right, he resigned.

Maybe the ancient Greek males had it right. Didn´t they reserve romantic notions to the male-male scenario and keep women at arm´s length? If modern men are frightened to interact with women then maybe we´re heading back in that direction....

FAR: ´´I never look over my shoulder and do not have to...that squeaky clean of a reputation that people laugh at, but who is laughing now?´´

It doesn´t matter. If a woman takes something innocent the wrong way, or is unhappy with a decision, she can cause a problem, because of the #MeToo PC argument that the woman must be believed. The man is guilty until proven innocent, which is very difficult if there are no witness.

There is no upside to hiring a woman if there is a qualified man for the job. Unfortunately, that is the way it has become.

Even a straight shooting guy who respects women to the nth degree is at risk since on the one hand, innocent things can be misinterpreted and, on the other hand, the school of thought that espouses "all women should be believed" (even those lying) makes the workplace...and society... a veritable mine field for totally innocent men. Relieved that I´m no longer in that cauldron.

I did this in my business many years ago except it was blacks. I would not hire a black person simply because if they didn’t work out I would get sued if I had to let them go. A shame because I think some would have been good employees but in a small business they just were not worth the risk. I heard the same from other small business owners. Unintended consequences. It’s really hurting blacks and women trying to get ahead.

#23....that was Billy Graham’s method. Never, never be alone with a woman. If for some reason they get mad at you, the lying will start. Protect yourself at all costs. It’s just common sense. Unfortunately the Weinstein’s have given all men a bad name.. a shame that an ugly powerful man could get away for years with his despicable behavior. Well...he is a Hollywood leftist and the media gave a pass. Didn’t he say he was going after the NRA? That makes it all ok. What a sleazy fat dork. Typical lefty.

When you see what happened to Kavanaugh, who basically followed all these rules and has the respect of all the women who work with him, you understand that women are making themselves radioactive. Just being near some of them can make you sick.

In business, it is absolutely necessary to build personal relationships. It´s called networking and it is essential. Yet, if you network with women, you can never be sure if it won´t explode in your face. You also don´t know which women are OK to be with and which are unstable. The only solution, avoid women in general. That dead ends their careers but it is becoming a choice of us vs. them.

That is tragic but Leftists destroy everything they touch so this should be no surprise.

Wall Street needs a Rule #2:

Avoid hiring anyone who ´graduates´ from a university steeped with commie propaganda.

Wall Street should know where all those so-called universities are and graduation certificates should be immediately suspect.

#8 and #10 are exactly right, but its uneven. All you have to do is look at healthcare companies to see where it´s going. Hard to find men except in IT and analytics. A lot of churn. Very few men except at senior levels and they are out by 55-60 when they should be benefiting the company with their experience. On the clinical side, the male doctors, particularly older white men, feel threatened.

Then the flip side is health tech and tech in general, where it´s all young white and Indian dudes burning through bucks, bad behavior rules despite being green and inclusive... and where an older woman (men too unless they bring in bucks)feel downright unwelcome in the boys club.

I can´t figure it out after decades in business, low and high, working for global to startups and my own consulting company. Do we enjoy slitting our own throats? Mary Barra, your wake up call is on hold....

Justice Kavanaugh and what happened to an honorable man should be the example to watch.
Be damned if he was defended by many female co-workers it was the one accuser that was believed. That´s how the trap was laid and will play out many more times.
VP Mike Pence is not safe by any means. He´s an honorable and faithful husband but women are jealous of other women. A woman could see Mrs. Pence happy with her faithful husband and just approach her and say she had an affair once with Mr. Pence. Who is going to be believed, the accuser and Pence´s marriage is ruined by an accusation. That´s how the left works but this may be the bombshell that blows up in their ugly faces. It happened to Hillary who couldn´t have it both ways.

For the last nine years, I´ve worked in an office filled with men only. And it has been exhilarating and wonderful, something I will never trade for all the years working with some unpredictable, catty, vindictive chicks. As a woman, I can say that the #MeToo movement is crock and an excuse to rip off men and businesses. My male colleagues run the gamut -- married, divorced, separated, single like me. Never a problem with any of them. Know why?? It´s called mutual respect and a professional attitude. I come to work and that´s it. So do they.

I´m glad to learn Wall Street is clamping down and letting the women know what it´s like to reap what you sow. Feminists, as a rule, never have healthy male relationships.... if they manage to find one.

"..men are adopting controversial strategies for the #MeToo era.." Really, controversial?? No, they are just self survival strategies that have become required because of the idiocy of the feminists and the #metoo movement. As a commander of several small AF units, I would always personally in-brief all newcomers about policy and what was expected. Males were in-briefed behind closed doors and females were in-briefed with doors open. I would also tell all males that if they ever had any hesitation about saying something, then don´t say it if was about women or had sexual content. The reason, though while they may be talking to other males at the time or joking, a woman walking by in the hall could be offended by it even though they weren´t part of the conversation or being talked about. It was just the way things were.

Under both women´s lib movement of 60s-70s and now the meToo movements, opportunities were, are and will be greatly limited. And just like the forced quota and affirmative action regarding minorities, opportunities are limited as well.

With the sexual harassment problems, real and fake claims are extremely difficult to prove or disprove as there are usually no witnesses, and even if there are they may be very reluctant to speak out in fear of retaliation.

With the meToo movement, I imagine that a vast number of alleged claims are false or highly exaggerated and in particular where one supposed event occurred 30 years ago.

meToo is a band wagon-mob mentality to be "part" of the group and is disgusting.

These women are beyond stupid. Most deals, in every profession from academia, Hollywood, Wall Street to Main Street (small businesses) are cemented on the golf course, in the gym, "Happy Hour", after-dinner cocktails, on the plane for a business trip, cocktail and event parties, etc.

What male in his right mind would ever dream of interacting with women regardless of age, looks, connections or experience.

One false accusation can doom his career, reputation (no one will hire him), marital relationship, publicity and promote scorn.

To quote a brilliant statement from previous poster, "The glass ceiling just turned into stone".

I´m the only male of four children, and one sister, a licensed R.N., has recently accused our late uncle, who was a first-rate pediatrician and a truly fine man, of having examined her "inappropriately," despite the fact that our mother was always in the room during physical examinations. She tries to smear me too, only I let her have it with both barrels when she does.

This sister waited for almost twenty years after my uncle´s death to start this creepy innuendo tha he can´t answer. She´s an R.N. who lived in the same city as he, and could easily have talked it over with him while he was alive, just to clear the air. But no, she accuses him of this decades after his death. Zero integrity there.

I learned a long ago to be very careful with women - all of them. I suppose that makes me a misogynist, but what is a decent man supposed to do to protect himself from smears? I´ve seen women pull this kind of stuff more times can I can count. The idea that women must be believed when they level any accusation, regardless of how prurient and implausible, is bizarre.

In a sense, I feel vindicated for my uncle (and myself!) when I see how dishonest some women have gotten. I much prefer to respect and trust women, of course, but that has become a risky course of action. This #metoo stuff is going to hurt women in the long run.

Apparently, the heart was supposed to be delivered to a hospital. However, it was mistakenly left on the connecting flight rather than being taken out of the cargo hold. Investigators weren’t able to find any text messages between fired agent Peter Strzok and former bureau lawyer Lisa Page from their time on the Mueller probe because by the time their phones were recovered, they’d been reset for others’ use, an inspector general said Thursday. The report also said the FBI still isn’t reliably collecting text messages of all of its employees — despite the black eye the bureau has suffered from Mr. Strzok and Ms. Page. The revelations came in a report Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz released to detail the efforts his team made to try to

Woke 29-year-old Congresswoman-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez went after White House Chief of Staff John Kelly yesterday. Why? She wants him to apologize to Democrat Rep. Frederica Wilson for supposedly "lying" about her to reporters.(tweet)"Cowardice." Quite a big word to use against a four-star Marine Corps general whose son was killed in Afghanistan. Wilson´s spat with Kelly came last year when she alleged President Trump disrespected a military family during a phone call. Kelly disputed her characterization and gave a briefing to the White House press corps on how the military handles casualties.

If Tuesday’s instantly famous Oval Office meeting is a harbinger of things to come, it’s going to be a long two years for “Chuck and Nancy.” Presidents can be intimidating, and Trump had home court advantage during Tuesday’s meeting. However, Chuck Schumer seemed especially outmatched by a very forceful Donald Trump. As Bill Kristol (no Trump apologist) put it: “[B]ased on what I saw of their respective performances in that Oval Office meeting today, I don’t understand why it’s Nancy Pelosi who’s facing a leadership challenge and Chuck Schumer who isn’t.” The mainstream media will focus

When Professor Christine Blasey-Ford testified against the Supreme Court nomination of then-Judge Bret Kavanaugh, my very first impression was that her voice sounded fake. EXCLUSIVE – President Trump has canceled the White House holiday party for the media, making the decades-old tradition a victim of his increasingly contentious relationship with major news organizations. The annual Christmas-season gathering was a significant perk for those covering the White House, as well as other Washington reporters, anchors and commentators, and New York media executives would regularly fly in for the occasion. At its peak, the invitation-only soirees grew so large that there were two back-to-back events, one for broadcast outlets and one for print organizations.
