JERUSALEM - Israeli police on Sunday said their investigation had found sufficient evidence for bribery and fraud charges to be brought against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife in a third corruption case against the Israeli leader. Authorities allege Netanyahu awarded regulatory favors to Bezeq Telecom Israel in return for more positive coverage of him and his wife on a news website, Walla, owned by the company. Netanyahu denies any wrongdoing. If indicted, the four-term prime minister would be facing one of the greatest challenges to his political survival. Despite his dominance of Israeli politics, the newest police recommendation comes just

The Left has wanted to get rid of Bibi as far back as I can remember. They consider him to be Trump´s ally, which makes it worse in their eyes. We really must learn how to fight dirty then go out there and hit them in the bollocks.

Agree with others here. After watching Israeli news shows for a couple of years, we need to understand they are just as left as our media is. Extensive coverage of Right leaning corruption, gay pride, social justice, etc. The only difference is they have good coverage of the IDF unlike our anti-military msm. Any news from there must be taken with a grain of salt.

Jerusalem Post.org has a lengthy article detailing the accusations against Netanyahu and his rebuttals. He could be forced to call for early elections and have to step down. Unfortunately there is no question he is in trouble.

Get out your gloves and scarves, Columbia. After a weekend full of chilly rain, forecasters are predicting the area may be getting a little snow. A mix of snow and rain is expected to fall on the Columbia-area Sunday night into Monday morning, National Weather Service Forecaster Jeff Linton said Friday. Because of the rain that is expected to accompany the icy precipitation, Linton said the snow likely will not stick or accumulate on the ground. If the forecast shifts and temperatures drop more than already expected, that increases the chance of a white dusting on the grass Monday morning, he

US President Donald Trump spoke on Thursday afternoon at the White House Hanukkah reception. The reception was attended by hundreds of US Jewish leaders. In addition to Trump and his wife Melania, the event was also attended by Vice President Mike Pence and his wife Karen, members of the Trump family and his close advisors. “More than 2,000 years ago, a band of Jewish patriots led by Judah Maccabee reclaimed their freedom from an oppressive dictator who persecuted the Jewish people and ransacked the Holy Temple,” he said. The President noted that the Jewish people throughout history have suffered repression

WE WILL NOT LET THEM THROUGH,” Trump wrote in a post on Twitter, appearing to maintain pressure on lawmakers seeking to approve legislation to keep the government open through to Sept. 30 next year. WASHINGTON, D.C. — House Speaker Nancy Pelosi warned President Donald Trump on Thursday that a future Democratic president could declare a national emergency to achieve an agenda, such as gun control policy. Responding to the president’s announcement that he will declare a national emergency related to the U.S. southern border, Pelosi maintained that “Democratic presidents can declare emergencies as well. So the precedent that the president is setting here is something that should be met with great unease and dismay by the Republicans.” (Photos) Speaker Pelosi told reporters at her weekly press conference, “You want to talk about a national

On Wednesday, May 10, 2017, my first full day on the job as acting director of the FBI, I sat down with senior staff involved in the Russia case—the investigation into alleged ties between the Trump campaign and the Russian government. As the meeting began, my secretary relayed a message that the White House was calling. The president himself was on the line. I had spoken with him the night before, in the Oval Office, when he told me he had fired James Comey. A call like this was highly unusual. Presidents do not, typically, call FBI directors.

Moore, an eight-term congresswoman, reacted to widespread prosperity across demographic lines by attempting to discredit them as short-term during a House Ways and Means Committee hearing. Moore referrred to Republican Rep. Darin LaHood´s statistics that show the economic situation is improving for African Americans, Hispanics, and the country as a whole, but she wasn´t as enthusiastic about those numbers. The GOP Majority Leader in the Senate persuaded President Donald Trump to not veto the GOP’s flawed border security bill by promising to back a national emergency construction of border walls, according to insider leaks to the establishment media. The Washington Post reported that “Trump had been leaning against supporting the congressional spending bill but relented after several conversations with [Majority Leader Sen. Mitch] McConnell, who then announced his agreement to go along with an emergency declaration.” One reason for Trump’s last-minute opposition is that congressional leaders conducted the negotiations without significant White House involvement.
