Trump is prepping for all-out political war
New York Post, by Michael Goodwin

As I sat a few feet from President Trump while he ripped special counsel Robert Mueller and warned Democrats he is preparing a devastating counterpunch, the phrase “The Gathering Storm” came to mind. That’s the title of Volume I of Winston Churchill’s masterful history of World War II. It also describes the president’s mood and the vicious game of blood sport playing out in Washington. While our nation’s political battles are hardly as dramatic as the fight with Nazi Germany and Japan, a storm is gathering in America and 2019 is shaping up as an extremely turbulent year.

It would be nice if Trump actually followed through with any of his threats. By now everyone knows he always backs down. None of the criminals that continue to run the US have anything to worry about.

God bless and give the President wisdom to deal with the absolute worst bunch of lying miscreants ever to inhabit this country. The awful shame is the fact that the guilty are highly placed political figures and bureaucrats who believe their status will protect them from prosecution. This assurance also comes from the media’s support and protection which they believe will be able to deflect any proof of wrongdoing. God help us if these criminals get away with a plot to destroy the Presidency of Donald Trump. The Republic will never recover. The American people know what has transpired and continues to take place in this egregious travesty of justice. We cannot allow them to win and walk away scot free. A conspiracy of this magnitude demands justice, nothing less. Pray for this President and all who support his innocence.

Hopefully there will be indictments for a whole slew of Congress criminals. That could be beneficial in determining the Congress majority.

These slow-witted corrupt politicians rely on conniving and dishonesty to accumulate power and money. They are unequipped intellectually to handle real challenges in their lives. They are like wind-up toys repeating the same pattern of behaviour endlessly. The cold rain of reality should dampen their ill-gotten expectations.

The Rain God is about to enter their lives and they are unsuited to meet his wrath.

The War has already been declared. Pelosi and Schumer have issued their marching orders. No quarter will be given and no quarter asked. No one is safe, and scorched earth is the approach mandated. RESIST is the order of the day.
At least Trump knows he is in a fight.

The President will attack in due course. There is no need at all to roll right now. He is currently enjoying himself and his accomplishments.

Key figures among the dims, the deep state, and the msm will be indicted and imprisoned for some very serious crimes committed against the United States.

There is a reason why Putie has been held to secrecy since he and the President met earlier this year. There is a reason why the British Government frantically requested that the President not out any of their operatives.

The President will strike at the right moment. The right moment is defined as the moment when it will become impossible for the dims, deep state, and msm to win in 2020. It is defined as the moment when the dims will lose control of the House it just regained. It is defined as the moment when the msm will be mortally wounded. It is also defined as the moment when progressivism will be destroyed for a long long time. There is no question that we face turbulent times here as the President seeks and gets well-deserved justice.

Let´s be honest. Dims and pubbies will both be going to the joint. Invest in companies who make orange jumpsuits. As termed by others here, the Big Ugly is coming.

May God continue to protect the President of the United States and his family.

Also, it´s not just for President Trump to fight alone, while we sit on the sidelines and carp about events. We must also be involved. There are many way to be involved, and our support, even when it seems things are not going our way, is critical.

My favorite college football team came from behind to win, after a gloomy start where it appeared they might lose. They stayed strong and didn´t give up. That´s a good lesson for politics too.

Really? Now? Why not six months before the mid-terms when it might have made a significant difference?

I am wholly behind President Trump at long last coming out with both guns blazing like Josey Wales. But, honestly, at this point, after he could have blown the Democrats out of the water by releasing the documents when he dallied away valuable time over replacing Uncle Sessions, I´m beginning to think the "Swamp´ is simply not drainable.

As far as I can tell, it seems our President has been engaged in an all-out "political war" and all he has done is hunker down. If he does come out at long last blazing, arresting deep state operative and marching into the House and Senate calling out those jerks right and let- then go for it- I´ll be a most delighted person. But, right now-I´m thinking- probably just so much talk.

The Democrats are looking for a fight. Trump is happy to oblige. The problem is most of the other Republican ´leadership´ has no stomach for a fight, and in many cases will side with the Democrats. There is only so much Trump can do when the legislative branch and the judicial branch actively work against him.

Trump had to remove a large number of Swamp Creatures in order to restore trust in the DOJ and FBI. The last election was successful in making the Senate a reliable place to confirm judges and cabinet members.

Now the gloves can come off.

President Trump knows how to play the game and how to win.

Right now the Dems are acting like novices trying to score points with the media. Let them tire out and make mistakes. They know how to do that well.

Absolutely, timing is everything.
As for the midterms, Trump was on the stump constantly with rallies and I watched everyone of them.
Where was the GOP? Where was the money? Where was the ground game? They had none of those going on. In California they conceded the election long before November 6th. Our POTUS is not responsible for winning every congressman´s seat. Securing the majority in the senate was perferable and he did that.

It´s like football. Sometimes losing a game is a good thing. It makes the team fight harder for the big one.
Without a doubt, President Trump knows how to play the game and how to win.

I want to be optimistic, I really do! But, all of this discussion about Trump´s timing and blood sport is getting old. Trump owns the Executive branch including the DOJ, and can´t seem to stop any of this. The Mueller investigation should be shut down. Whitaker should demand that Mueller show what he has and be done with it. Whitaker should also go after the Zero administration for their crimes. But we all know this will never happen. I believe the Dems will impeach Trump and I DO NOT have any confidence in the Republican Senate having his back. At all! Losing the House will prove to be devastating for team Trump. And all of the Clinton/DNC/FISA warrant investigation will disappear.

When Trump was on the campaign trail the constant chant of ´lock her up´ was sometimes the theme of the rallies. Do think on President Trump´s first day in office going after Hillary would have been wise of course not? President Trump wanted to accomplish things and right the tilted government Obama had tried to destroy.
As the onion was peeled back on the Deep State and operatives the circle of names became apparent. The President fired some but left some significant crooks in place to our dismay, Mueller and Rosenstein. When these two dirty cops are fired it´s going to be the beginning of mortal combat. Sessions was do nothing who just had to go plugging what will be an important spot in this administration.
Going after the Deep State any time before this would have stifled things the President wanted to get done. It could be close to the time to ´pull the trigger´.
You don´t go after a whale in a rubber dingy holding a sharp stick you go after the whale in a huge boat and sharpened long spear. That is what President Trump is doing to encounter this whale.

Remember, when it comes to the bottom line, President Trump can only do what is politically possible.

Since Trump was elected there have been enough wimpy establishment Republicans in the Congress who opposed Trump and much of his political agenda, and thus were able to slow walk or through double dealing were able to defeat proposed legislation relating to a lot of issues that Trump attempted to solve.

Look at the Republicans who are either bailing out of the Congress on their own, or who were defeated in the election, and you will see that almost all of them were anti-Trump.

Please realize, #1, that Trump does NOT have what even our mediocre Republican presidents did have at least — the support of their own party. The GOPe resists him, betrays him at every turn both behind his back and in public. With what he has arrayed against him, the leadership he has displayed has been remarkable.

The country has also been long suffering along with him, as the deep state railed on & on, 24/7. ...Has the time finally come to confront the rude & crude, radical PC lefty bullies and their media tools? After all, they alone are responsible for the strife which they continue to perpetrate against this country and its President. They alone are responsible for their unreasonable actions & disrespectful words, just as we all are. They alone are accountable for what they are doing against civility in America.

Now that the 2 SC judges are on the bench, and the midterms are done, there is nothing stopping him from finally taking the gloves off. The Swamp has no clue what is coming. But we do.

They will soon find out to their everlasting sorrow. Trump doesn´t play beanbag, he plays junkyard dog NYC style.

Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes once said, “If my fellow citizens want to go to hell, I will help them. It is my job.” What he was expressing is the limited role of courts in challenges to federal law. It is not their task as judges to sit as a super legislature to question the priorities or policies of the political branches. They will gladly send Congress to hell. It only needs to be clear about the destination. In the matter of the border wall, Congress could not have been more clear where it was heading.

The percentage of government workers who belong to a union dipped again in 2018 and has hit a 40-year low. Just 33.9 percent of government workers now belong to a union, according to government figures, the lowest point since 1978, and down from a peak of 38.7 percent in the 1990s. Behind those numbers has been the failure of government labor groups to bounce back from a steep decline in government employment that began in 2009. That year, unions boasted 7.897 million government workers. Last year, however, just 7.162 million workers

ROME — The Vatican on Saturday said it had stripped ex-cardinal Theodore McCarrick of the rights of the priesthood, leveling a historic penalty against a onetime church power broker and former archbishop of Washington who has been credibly accused of sexual abuse. In a short release, the Vatican said a canonical process had found McCarrick guilty of several charges, including “sins” with minors and adults, “with the aggravating factor of the abuse of power.” McCarrick, the Vatican said, was notified on Friday of the decision. The decision was affirmed by Pope Francis, meaning McCarrick has no further recourse.

The first shipment, which was 204.2 pounds, was seized on Jan. 22 on a cargo ship from Ecuador. Six days later, the same authorities found a seven-bundle, 17.5-pound shipment

Explaining that building the border wall was Trump’s mandate, Coulter said, “It was one thing, the promise he made every single day at every single speech.” She added, “So forget the fact that he’s digging his own grave. This is just — look the only national emergency is that our president is an idiot.” Coulter did praise the president regarding the courts by saying, “In defense of Trump supporters and those who fell for his

The GOP Majority Leader in the Senate persuaded President Donald Trump to not veto the GOP’s flawed border security bill by promising to back a national emergency construction of border walls, according to insider leaks to the establishment media. The Washington Post reported that “Trump had been leaning against supporting the congressional spending bill but relented after several conversations with [Majority Leader Sen. Mitch] McConnell, who then announced his agreement to go along with an emergency declaration.” One reason for Trump’s last-minute opposition is that congressional leaders conducted the negotiations without significant White House involvement.

The two hottest commodities in the Democratic Party are Ilhan Omar and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Earlier this week, Omar exhibited stunning ignorance in her hostile questioning of Elliott Adams Abrams. Similarly, Ocasio-Cortez has often displayed a surprising lack of knowledge for someone who apparently is a college graduate. Don’t get me started on the “Green New Socialism.” But she outdid herself yesterday. The context was Amazon’s announcement that it would not, after all, build a second corporate headquarters in Long Island City, which I understand is close to, but not within, Ocasio-Cortez’s district. The project reportedly would have entailed

Former Massachusetts Gov. Bill Weld launched a presidential exploratory committee in New Hampshire Friday, making him the first Republican officially eying a longshot GOP primary challenge to President Donald Trump. “I’m here because I think our country is in grave peril,” Weld said at an announcement at a “Politics and Eggs” breakfast in New Hampshire, a frequent stop for presidential candidates. “I cannot sit quietly on the sidelines any longer.” "We cannot sit passively as our precious democracy slips quietly into darkness," he said. Weld, who served as governor in the Bay State from 1991 to 1997, was the Libertarian Party

WASHINGTON— What is happening to the Democrats? Captivated by a handful of liberal superstars, they are venturing where the party has long feared to tread: Steep taxes on the rich. Abolishing an immigration enforcement agency. Proposing "economic transformation" to combat climate change. Gleefully waving goodbye to a big business — and its jobs. On Thursday, newly-elected Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez led a chorus of cheers as Amazon announced it was abandoning plans to build a sought-after headquarters in New York City. Activists berated the online giant for a $3 billion package of tax breaks she said the city could better invest

Washington — Millions of Americans are waiting for Robert Mueller to give them the final word on whether the Trump campaign conspired with the 2016 Russian election interference effort — and whether their president is under the influence of a foreign adversary. Millions of Americans may be sorely disappointed. Unless Mueller files a detailed indictment charging members of the Trump campaign with conspiring with Russia, the public may never learn the full scope of what Mueller and his team has found — including potentially scandalous behavior that doesn´t amount to a provable crime.

Andrew McCabe is a national disgrace. He was part of the most corrupt and most partisan leadership team in FBI history and was fired for being dishonest under oath. And yet, America owes him a big thank-you. McCabe, you see, has reminded us once again that there really is a powerful deep state, and that there has not been a full accounting of rampant FBI misconduct during the presidential campaign of 2016. There is also still too much we don’t know about the role top aides to then-President Barack Obama and higher-ups in the Justice Department

WASHINGTON – Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s relationship with boyfriend Riley Roberts is official. Roberts has been granted a government “house.gov” email address so he can access Ocasio-Cortez’s congressional calendar, the 29-year-old congresswoman confirmed Friday. Spouses of members of Congress are afforded privileges, such as a House email address, a congressional pin to bypass security and a House license plate to enter Capitol grounds and enjoy parking privileges, House aides say. While he’s not officially a spouse, Roberts can have access to House email for calendar purposes, according to the office of the Chief Administrative Officer of the House. “From time to
