Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson conceded his contest to Republican rival Rick Scott on Sunday after a recount in the state showed him trailing by more than 10,000 votes. ´I just spoke with Senator Bill Nelson, who graciously conceded, and I thanked him for his years of public service. This victory would not be possible without the hard work of so many people,´ Scott said in a statement. The concession wraps up one of the most expensive Senate races of the year and ensures President Donald Trump will have a strong GOP majority in the upper chamber. (Photo/Videos) Scott´s win gives

A vote for Kavanaugh and Nelson is still a senator.
But don´t worry, Soros will find a well paying job for him.

What a welcome development! Surely Gov. DeSantis can make some changes that end the Broward/Palm Beach situation. It´s a shame that Florida has such corruption in such a beautiful place.

I am going to say it again: Senator Nelson´s staff is first rate. They have done well by Floridians. I don´t even bother calling Little Marco´s office.
I wish Scott well as senator. Not sold on DeSantis but anything is better than Gillum aka Obola Jr.

President Trump has been turned down by Democrats for a sensible border barrier, so he will declare a national emergency in accordance with a law Congress passed in 1976. Somehow, following a law Congress passed gets Trump labeled as a dictator. Here is the case for declaring a national emergency: Tens of thousands of people die each year from drug overdoses and a huge percentage of those drugs comes across the porous southern border illegally. Here is one story, headlined: "Deadly blue ´Mexican oxy´ pills take toll on US Southwest": Aaron Francisco Chavez swallowed at least one of the sky

MUNICH— German Chancellor Angela Merkel robustly defended European nations’ decision to stand by the Iran nuclear deal in a spirited backing Saturday of her multilateral approach to global affairs, but U.S. Vice President Mike Pence promptly accused Europe of once again undermining the United States. Merkel’s comments at the Munich Security Conference, an annual gathering of top global defense and foreign policy officials, followed days of tensions between Washington and Europe over Iran. U.S. President Donald Trump unilaterally pulled out of the 2015 Iran nuclear agreement last year, leaving the others

When a liar lies they often have trouble keeping their statements consistent. Former FBI Director Andrew McCabe gave an interview to CBS and wrote an op-ed, a book excerpt, in the Atlantic with outlining a specific sequence of events, dates and statements surrounding the days immediately after James Comey was fired. However, a review of the timeline and the statements he delivered to CBS is contradicted by his prior congressional testimony. (Photo) In his published book excerpt (The Atlantic) McCabe outlines a series of contacts and meetings with President Trump on May 9th, 2017, the day Comey was fired, and

“It’s a cat-eat-dog world out there.” That’s how one online bon vivant captioned this photo of a kitty munching on a classic Times Square footlong. Pip the Beach Cat, a formerly feral feline, is now an up-and-coming Instagram star, with close to 4,000 followers. The 9-month-old ate like a real tourist on his first visit to New York City, poking his head out of his vibrant yellow carrier bag to down a dirty-water dog slathered in mustard. “He didn’t eat the whole thing,” Pip’s cat lady, substitute teacher and waitress Emily Meadows, tells The Post. “But he eats lots of

In mid-January, a federal judge blocked an additional question to the survey that wants to ask whether the participant is a U.S. citizen. The Supreme Court promised yesterday to hear the case quickly so it is resolved before the 2020 Census. The Census is done every ten years so that Congress knows how to regulate federal money and affects the amount of representation each district gets. The number of electoral votes is also determined by the Census. Liberal leaders have long been counting illegals in the Census to inflate representation, then electing representatives who declare their area a "sanctuary" for

Like thousands of others, my son Luke recently left New York after 16 years to return to our Colorado mountain community. The cost of living, the filth, the notorious New York attitude, the nanny-state tax-and-spend politics, and the decrepit subway all played a part. There was also its war on the Second Amendment — despite a Colorado concealed carry permit, a New York City long gun permit, and that, as an armorer, he equipped filmmakers with firearms, Luke was denied a pistol premise permit. Perhaps that was his last straw, but for his mother and me it was the shuttering

It’s the headline that is making all of us who live with or love someone with multiple sclerosis (MS) pay attention. There are many more of us out there than has ever been reported. Four years ago, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society decided to do a study of MS prevalence in the U.S. The number of people with the disease that the society had been citing – 400,000 – seemed way too low to people in the MS community. So the society got together some very smart folks – neurologists, epidemiologists, statisticians – and they came up with an algorithm

Sen. Kamala D. Harris (D-Calif.) is running to become the first black female president. But in the early days of the campaign, she’s had to answer questions about the “legitimacy” of her “blackness.” Online, stories have circulated suggesting that Harris is not African American because her parents are immigrants and she spent some of her childhood in Canada. During an appearance on “The Breakfast Club” radio show Monday, hosts DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God asked Harris about that. Harris pushed back. “I’m black, and I’m proud of being black. I was born black. I will die black,”

The GOP Majority Leader in the Senate persuaded President Donald Trump to not veto the GOP’s flawed border security bill by promising to back a national emergency construction of border walls, according to insider leaks to the establishment media. The Washington Post reported that “Trump had been leaning against supporting the congressional spending bill but relented after several conversations with [Majority Leader Sen. Mitch] McConnell, who then announced his agreement to go along with an emergency declaration.” One reason for Trump’s last-minute opposition is that congressional leaders conducted the negotiations without significant White House involvement.

The two hottest commodities in the Democratic Party are Ilhan Omar and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Earlier this week, Omar exhibited stunning ignorance in her hostile questioning of Elliott Adams Abrams. Similarly, Ocasio-Cortez has often displayed a surprising lack of knowledge for someone who apparently is a college graduate. Don’t get me started on the “Green New Socialism.” But she outdid herself yesterday. The context was Amazon’s announcement that it would not, after all, build a second corporate headquarters in Long Island City, which I understand is close to, but not within, Ocasio-Cortez’s district. The project reportedly would have entailed

Washington — Millions of Americans are waiting for Robert Mueller to give them the final word on whether the Trump campaign conspired with the 2016 Russian election interference effort — and whether their president is under the influence of a foreign adversary. Millions of Americans may be sorely disappointed. Unless Mueller files a detailed indictment charging members of the Trump campaign with conspiring with Russia, the public may never learn the full scope of what Mueller and his team has found — including potentially scandalous behavior that doesn´t amount to a provable crime.

Andrew McCabe is a national disgrace. He was part of the most corrupt and most partisan leadership team in FBI history and was fired for being dishonest under oath. And yet, America owes him a big thank-you. McCabe, you see, has reminded us once again that there really is a powerful deep state, and that there has not been a full accounting of rampant FBI misconduct during the presidential campaign of 2016. There is also still too much we don’t know about the role top aides to then-President Barack Obama and higher-ups in the Justice Department
