Students are allowed to bundle up during the winter, but only if they do so cheaply, says a high school in northwestern England. The school sent a letter to parents in early November warning them that expensive coats would no longer be allowed. The headteacher of Woodchurch High School in Birkenhead said the ban would take effect after Christmas and the school was “mindful that some young people put pressure on their parents to purchase expensive items of clothing,” according to CNN. The coats being banned are from Canada Goose and Moncler, brands that sell jackets that can cost well

Please remove this article, some leftist just might get the same idea for schools here.
How about everybody go to school naked. That´ll make all things equal.

Why would the wealthy send their kids wearing $1000 coats to public schools and not private ones?

Socialism is increasing. Be strong.
These kids need to toughen up.

When I was in high school, it was cashmere sweaters and certain brands of clothing and shoes. So I went to work on weekends at age 14 (with a parent-signed work permit) and bought my first cashmere sweater. On sale at the store where I worked.

What will these snowflakes do when they hit the inequality of outcome that is the real world?

That´s right. Don´t mention the disparity between different SCHOOLS´ amenities and facilities. Some schools have better playgrounds, labs, sports facilities or classrooms. But, don´t mention THAT...nah. Instead focus on students´ COATS.
Another reason for my idea of Rent-A-Burkha kiosks. If everyone were encased in a standard black shroud with eye slits, socialists could no longer yap about identity politics and social justice because nobody would know (or care) who or what anybody was.
I´m sort of just kidding. While the idea of being burkhafied is completely repulsive, if we all looked the exact same socialists like Ocasio-Cortez or Kamala Harris would have nothing divisive left to talk about.

Went to Catholic school 1-12. Had to wear uniforms. Strict dress code enforced. And there weren´t the status symbols of coats, boots, scarves like today. I think there wasn´t as much money floating around in the middle class back in the 50´s and 60´s. One income families. Pursestrings were tightly held by the parents. Bigger families too. Lots of kids. Logos are on everything now. Very ostentatious.

President Donald Trump has been spotted returning from the links in Florida, flashing a thumbs-up for his supporters after presumably spending a relaxing day playing golf. Trump´s motorcade rolled from Mar-a-Lago to the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach at 8.30am on Saturday, a sunny day where temperatures reached 82 degrees. As reporters were held at a nearby library, Trump spent more than six hours at the club before departing at 2.56pm. Trump seemed in high spirits as he departed the club, flashing a double thumbs-up for his supporters gathered by the roadside. (Video/Photos) Wearing a red hat

"The most important political event of the twentieth century," wrote Irving Kristol in 1976, "is not the crisis of capitalism but the death of socialism." Plenty of self-described Marxist and socialist regimes existed throughout the world, Kristol recognized. It was rather the ideas behind such regimes that had reached a moral and intellectual endpoint. Nor was this passing away entirely to be cheered. "For with the passing of the socialist ideal," Kristol went on, "there is removed from the political horizon the one alternative to capitalism that was rooted in the Judeo-Christian tradition and in the Western civilization which emerged
