A federal judge handed CNN a major victory on Friday, ruling that President Donald Trump White House must temporarily restore the press credentials it stripped from the network´s chief White House correspondent last week while a lawsuit plays out. Judge Timothy Kelly ruled that Jim Acosta´s First Amendment press rights trump the administration´s right to have orderly press conferences. He declared that the White House failed to give Acosta ´due process,´ something guaranteed in government proceedings under the Fifth Amendment. ´I want to thank all of my colleagues in the press who supported us this week,´ Acosta told other reporters outside the federal

Why not ask the intern if Acosta touched her? After all the Democrats believe women regardless don´t they? Then whatever Acosta says does not amount to anything.

This is too easy. No more WH press briefings by either the President or Sarah Sanders. No more Secret Service WH hard passes for any reporters.

Any press moments will be held on the driveway or at another location. With Sarah Sanders as needed. With the President as he desires.

The freedom of the press was not intended to give a bum like Acosta his moment (hopefully brief) in the sun. He is gloating now. Don Surber has a schadenfreude list a mile long of previous anti-Trump gloaters and what happened to them.

It didn´t say he had to be allowed into the press briefing room. And at the 1st grandstanding shout-out by this twit, have him removed. From a full article re judge’s ruling, which was based upon the process and precedent, not merit:

Kelly based his decision largely on a 1977 decision by the Washington federal appeals court, which established that the White House must provide due process when revoking a reporter’s press credentials. “I simply have no choice but to apply that precedent,” he said.

Kelly said CNN and Acosta, represented by Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, demonstrated a “likelihood of success” on its claim that the White House did not engage in an adequate process. He said whatever process that was provided to Acosta is “still so shrouded in mystery,” noting that the government could not definitely identify the official who made the initial decision to revoke Acosta’s credentials.

The decision is beyond disgusting. The news account indicates the judge said, “I have not determined that the FirstAmendment was violated here.” Further, “I want to emphasize the very limited nature of this ruling.” The caveats do little to appease the reality that obnoxious individuals need not be tolerated in private homes nor should they be tolerated in the “home” of the American people. Most egregious is the judge’s perception of whether or not Jim Acosta “physically put his hands on a female intern during the November 7 press conference was of ‘questionable accuracy.’” The video is clear--when the intern reached to take the microphone away from Acosta, he placed his left hand on the intern’s left forearm and resisted her effort to reach the microphone.
According to the DailyCaller(11-8-18), CNNdid not play the full video of Acosta’s interaction with the intern during Acosta’s interview with AndersonCooper; further, Acosta said, “...I didn’t put my hands on her or touch her as they are alleging.” If the judge only sawCNN’s version of the video, he would not have seenAcosta placing his hand on the intern’s forearm; if the judge did see the entirety of the video, his ruling is perplexing.

And if Acosta wins on appeal, then move his chair to the back row of the press conference room, in the far corner, and NEVER call on him again!!! If he tries to interrupt, have security taze him and remove him from the room!!!!!

See how the rest of the press corps likes sitting on their hands with nothing to do!!!

Acosta is so centered on himself, he actually tries to exclude the rest of those in the WH press corps by monopolizing the time the President gives to them. Cnn defends Costa´s constant argumentative theatrics, which but displays that network´s dem megaphone´s total bias and utter lack of journalistic ethics required to keep the public informed according to the First Amendment. The press is NOT there to focus on Costa nor his like, but rather upon the President. The press is there NOT to antagonize but rather to gather information through a variety of questions for the American people. When the instead choose to grandstand, they shouldn´t be there.

If that were true Acosta, then why did your network studiously avoid including the video cause of this kerfuffle in the lawsuit? You know what you did, CNN certainly knows what you did, and so does PDJT, who watched you assault her right in front of his eyes. I think it is time the Judge got a look at the cause behind this action.

Acosta said he didn´t "touch" the intern, he most certainly did. He´s a verifiable liar so there´s that.

Maybe the Twilight Zone ruling was made to guarantee a higher court becomes involved. Acosta´s suit could -- should -- lead to a precedent with teeth, a specific ruling that would hamstring now and future Acostas.

Acosta more than”touched” the intern. As she reached across him to take the mic from his hand, he came down on the inside of her arm near the elbow with the other hand. It was not as sharply rendered as a karate chop, but it was that sort of move with the outside of his hand striking her inner arm.

Judge Kelly did not rule that Acosta had right to be in the press briefings, only that he had not received due process before being banned. A higher court can rule that Trump had the right to say who can attend. Trump did not ban CNN, just Acosta for his continuous disruptive behavior.

Has everyone forgotten how Obama divvied our info? He produced daily news brief videos about administrative goings-on. There were no press questions.

Ok, create a set of CD writtenrules of decorum, and a violation of any one gets a 10 suspension of pass, then a review by a committee consisting of the pres sec and asst press sec and a White House rep selected by the President. Steve Miller would be good.

If, at the hearing, the idiot trouble maker refuses to apologize and promise to never violate the rules again, 6 month suspension with another committee review.

This can go on literally forever and is due process.

Schools in Brighton have been ordered to teach children as young as eight that people “of all genders” can have periods, as well as to install sanitary waste disposal units in every toilet room. The instructions were included in guidelines published by the local council earlier this month on ‘Taking a Period Positive Approach in Brighton & Hove Schools’, which assert there is “more work to do across all settings to prevent and reduce stigma related to periods and talking about periods”. Under the subheading ‘key messages’, teachers are told to stress to pupils that “trans boys and

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez needs a break. The Bronx-bred democratic socialist heading into her freshman term in the House of Representatives announced Monday she’s taking some time off to take care of herself before she officially starts her new job — and she’s taking her supporters along for the ride. “I’m taking a few days to take care of myself before what is sure to be an eventful term,” the incoming New York congresswoman tweeted. “For working people, immigrants, & the poor, self-care is political — not because we want it to be, but bc of the inevitable shaming of someone doing

MSNBC host Joy Reid and her guest Elie Mystal spent a segment fantasizing about Ivanka Trump being in the “crosshairs” and openly scheming about how the best way to “get” President Donald Trump would be to go after his children. The sinister conversation, in which they urged the left to put the mother and wife “in their crosshairs” occurred on Saturday’s show. “This is the first time that we have Ivanka . . . in the crosshairs . . . The only way we’re really going to get to Trump is if you go after his kids . . .

Dinesh D’Souza described Michelle Obama´s college thesis as “illiterate and incoherent.” The far-right author and filmmaker launched a scathing attack on the former first lady after she claimed that people at the most powerful organizations in the world were “not as smart” as some portrayed them to be. “Anyone who has read Michelle´s college thesis—a document so illiterate and incoherent that it was written, as Christopher Hitchens put it, in ´no known language´—will chuckle heartily at this one,” D’Souza wrote on his Facebook page, sharing a link to a Newsweek article that reported Obama’s remark. The father of Jakelin Caal, who died in United States Customs and Border Protection custody, has reportedly hired a pair of attorneys and is challenging the Department of Homeland Security´s claims of how his daughter died. Nery Gilberto Caal released a statement, through attorneys, on Saturday, claiming that he and his daughter — whom Border Patrol says died of prolonged hunger and dehydration — were properly fed, and that they had not spent days in the desert before declaring their intent to seek asylum at an official border crossing in New Mexico last week.

AFP reported Saturday that “experts” say “Western powers fighting Islamist groups around the globe are condemned to a never-ending battle if they only tackle the symptoms and not the underlying causes of jihadist insurgency.” That is true, but these establishment “experts” have no idea of the actual underlying causes, and are recommending the same counterterror remedies that have failed again and again. “The West is on the road to winning all the battles and losing the war,” warns Katherine Zimmerman, who wrote a recent report for the American Enterprise Institute. On that, Zimmerman is actually right. But she and her

Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) declared President Donald Trump was not going to get the U.S.-Mexico border wall “in any form.” “President Trump should understand there are not the votes for the wall in the House or the Senate. He is not going to get the wall in any form. Even the House which is a majority Republican, they don’t have the votes for his $5 billion wall plan. Ryan, afraid of what’s going to happen, sent all the House home until Wednesday night, a day and a

There are stirrings of discussion these days in philosophical circles about the prospect of human extinction. This should not be surprising, given the increasingly threatening predations of climate change. In reflecting on this question, I want to suggest an answer to a single question, one that hardly covers the whole philosophical territory but is an important aspect of it. Would human extinction be a tragedy? To get a bead on this question, let me distinguish it from a couple of other related questions. I’m not asking whether the experience of humans coming to an end would be a bad thing.

Joe Lieberman, a Democrat-turned-independent who has backed Republicans, has found friends in yet another party: the ruling Communist Party of the People´s Republic of China. The former "conscience of the Senate" has been hired to represent China´s ZTE telecommunications company, which is basically a front organization for Chinese intelligence services. ZTE is under pressure in light of overdue U.S. government efforts to prevent it from entrenching a stronger position in the U.S. economy. With the U.S. now in a new cold war with Beijing, no former U.S. official, let alone a foreign policy hawk like Lieberman, should be serving ZTE.

An actress and model claims she had a clandestine eight-year affair with Woody Allen that began when she was 16 years old and underage – and included threesomes with the director and Mia Farrow in his penthouse, according to a new report. Babi Christina Engelhardt, now 59, told The Hollywood Reporter that she first caught the then-41-year-old Allen’s attention in October 1976 at famed eatery Elaine’s on the Upper East Side, where she dropped a note with her phone number. “Since you’ve signed enough autographs, here’s mine!” the star-struck girl scribbled. Allen soon invited Engelhardt

Chuck Schumer clearly thinks that he’s got a winning issue with blaming President Trump for a prospective “government shutdown” Friday, if no budget bill is passed that includes $5 billion for border wall improvements. Since he promises that no such money will be forthcoming from the Senate, he obviously anticipates the public reacting in horror over the Christmas holidays as federal employees labeled “non-essential” stay home. But Rep. Thomas Massey, a libertarian-leaning GOP House member from Kentucky, has published an amazing graph that shows how meaningless this “disaster” really is for almost everybody:
